Seems I've overcome the worst part of this cold now. It's just a case of the sniffles with a mildly sore thoat now and the occassional cough. MUCH better than the constant burning sensation i had before. At this rate, tomorrow should be the last day I need to recover. Just in time to go to work Monday XD Three day weekend, gone and wasted by sickness. I won't see one of those again for at least 2-3 months.

After a well deserved nap I have had some alkaseltzer, hot tea with honey and been playing some world of warcraft to just relax. I feel slightly better. At least, my throat doesn't feel like it's on fire any more, just smoldering XD

I'm going back to bed now. Hopefully this is a cleared up in a day or so >> I'm feeling drained and need a day to recouperate. Thank god I only work 5-8 tomorrow. Baby shift for the win!

So the ventilation system at work went on the fritz today. I was the only one there that was willing to crawl up the fucking ladder to go onto the roof and figure out what was wrong. The whole building was filling with smoke and most of us were hacking up a lung. After spending an hour up there in the freezing cold I still wasn't able to figure out what was wrong. I'm home now obviously, still with no clue why the ventilation system isn't working and feeling like I just smoked a whole pack of cigarettes. My throat is burning like crazy and swallowing sucks. I was already sick and had a sore throat before today, and this didn't help things at all. FML

*collapses on the bed* Why are the holidays always so tiring!?! Gah >_< I had a great time though. I got a lot of really neat stuff and got to give some really great gifts too. Though one of the bigger gifts I got this season was an xbox 360 soooooo.... If anyone WANTS to add me to their list of friends 0

Yeah... so for those of you who didn't hear.. gay rights just took a HUGE blow to the head. We just got sent back to pre WWII. Take a read and welcome to hell. Well, I just read the new AUP and the explanation that is up on the forums. While I am disappointed to see that freedom of speech is losing out because some corporations are scared to help us out, I can understand the reason why we're getting rid of pornographic cub art... Before reading the explanation, I was pretty much livid. I expected it was because a number of ppl had been complaining to the admins about their dislike for cub art. All that would have been was censorship of freedom of speech based on the dislike of some. Seeing that cub art is basically threatening the continuation of the website, I'd rather see the site stay with one less venue for artists to use, than have the website faulter and leave us all to go to a new home.

That being said, I am still sad to see cub art go. But it's an unfortunate sacrifice that must be made for the good of the site.

So after a few days of gorging myself on some DELICIOUS homemade chicken noodle soup, it's time that I start working on my diet. I'm munching on some celery as a late night snack. Starting tomorrow, no more fried foods, and all my liquid intake will be water (save for one glass of milk with dinner each night). I'm not sure how well it's gonna go to go considering I work at Burgerking and am around fried food and soda ALL day... But I'm DAMN well gonna try! At the very least, I'll keep it up for a few weeks and lose about 5-10 lbs hopefully ^_^

Very basically, I'm just going to take it one day at a time and see what happens.

Alright so I went and got my blood work done today. Turns out it was $45 not 40 like I thought. Not a big deal. However... we were told that we needed to go to the hospital for this thing. When we got to the hospital... we were told that we needed to go to the elementary school in the city. We don't know the city at all so they had to give us directions and walk us through how to get there. THAT was fun. We managed to find the place just fine and then realized they only take cash. >_< SO I had to drive to the bank while my mom filled out our paperwork for us both. Withdrew the funds needed and drove back.

It was a really quick process, but apparently I have 'really deep veins' so the woman had trouble finding one on me she could use. Eventually she did find one that she felt confident she could use and indeed it did work XD. Surprise! Turns out my blood is red just like everyone elses, lol XD

Anyway. Things are good. I'm happy. I'm eating and then gonna curl up to catch up on sleep. Then it's off to work. After that... We'll just see what happens ^_^

I'm just laying back tonight. I'm not stressing over anything, I'm not worried, I'm not upset.. I'm just enjoying the quiet, calm that my life has become. I'm enjoying a small glass of delicious white wine right now ^_^

The only thing on my mind is how thankful I am for the people I have in my life and that everything is falling into place and making sense and just... working the way it should.

I have to go to the doctor tomorrow for bloodwork though. My mother and her mother both have hypothyroidism and my doctor wants to get me checked for it too just incase that's the cause of my depression. Sooo... I need to get up at 6am and be AT the hospital by 7 to wait around until they can fit me in... Hurry up and wait... I hate it. But I have to or it'll be extremely expensive otherwise. From 6am to 9:30am their doing a clinic where you can get your bloodwork for only $40 otherwise it costs over $100 >_<

This is for everyone to see... I'm writing this as an apology to my master, Reggie. I fucked up and I hurt him. I... There's not much I can do to make up for what I've done, and I won't blame you if you never forgive me. But... This is a start... I'm going to do everything I can to at least earn enough of your trust back to be considered a friend in your eyes. You're the best person I know... You fill my life with happiness and make it worthwhile, and... in return I let my judgement slip away and stabbed you when you weren't looking. I can't take back what I did... The only thing I can do is promise that if I'm given the chance to try to make it up to you... I will do everything... anything you want to make it better. You deserve so much better than what i've given you... and I don't deserve your forgiveness... But I hope one day i'll earn it. I'm sorry reggie.. I love you...

Alright well, I went to the doctor yesterday. I explained everything that was going on, how i was feeling, how i've felt over the last few years, and how it's been coming and going off and on for at least 3-4 years. As a trial run, I'm on antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds now. Basically in a month they want to hear from me and see how I'm doing and if things are working. Already it feels better. Not because of the pills but because something's finally happening to make it better. There's forward motion instead of stagnation.

The medication I'm on now does have a few side-effects, but nothing too upsetting. I'm going to need to keep an eye on myself though and if things even START to look worse, I need to call my doctor immediately. So, we'll see how it goes, but I feel like things are looking up and I'm optimistic (as per always). Thank you all again for being so supportive and over the next few weeks in case I need you. I know you'll be there and that means more than you folks could possibly know. I love you all.
