But, if I could, I would say this: So you outed me on an old journal and gave me no chance to respond? I think that says more about me than you. I'd have discussed it by notes now as time has passed. Short and sweet journal but if people ever want to get art with any of my characters I'm always happy to split 50/50 to get something!

Two Artists on my shit list

I will never ever give an artist money straight off the bat unless they're so heccin trusted. I don't mind deposits but seriously. I waited for one comm for the better part of two years.
He posts on twitter instead and ignores my requests.
The other always has some problem in life and flip flops on where they hide. Discord, here, twitter. Nope.
This isn't worth my energy. And the time to reclaim my money has gone so eh.
Balls.

Posted 5 years agoHonestly not very good with social stuff at the moment. With most people I know in isolation and me still working, having time to catch up is kind of impossible. So to people on various social things like discord and telegram and other shit... sorry. I'm not good at this at the best of time!

Why I dont upload everything I have
Posted 6 years agoOkay so. I got a lot of art hanging around that I've commissioned and some of it is lewd and some of it isnt. And mainly I dont upload the non lewd stuff because it's personal to me and I love it. I suppose selfishly I don't want to share it? I'm sure people think it's odd and should be the other way around.

Why you shouldn't worry about popularity!
Posted 6 years agoThis one is a rambling journal, so if you don't want to read, feel free to just put your feet up and watch some funny videos instead!
The point of this journal is to say, remember who you got around you. If you can get yourself some good friends (and I'm not saying you have to talk every day! I have friends who don't talk to me for months, years, but when they come back it's like we never stopped talking!) and remember that popularity is fleeting, you're all set.
On a website like this it's easy to wonder, "How did they get so popular? I wish I was that popular!" and from then it's easy to fall into a cycle of self loathing or hating these people. But honestly, remember, it's very very fleeting. And in some ways, that's sad for them too! It's nice to have attention, I think we all crave it to a degree. Then to have it go is awful...
Which is why I say, keep those close friends close! Never forget them and just have a nice chat every now and then.

Posted 6 years agoRemember kids, don't give your money to artists who consistently take many commissions, don't show their slots and don't communicate. You're probably wasting that moneys... good thing I know plenty of honest artists who actually tell me what's going on!
Rude Artists and my lack of flips

Anyway! I've met so many wonderful artists here it's hard to keep count at times, but those special buttholes do drive me up the wall!
I think it stems from taking the time to create and layout a lovely worded commission with references only to get blown off for no reason. As in, why should they reply for art I a pleb whomst worth a ducks fart?
Nay I say! And to these artists I snub thee. I wanted to secretly name and shame them but the high road has been taken and I've found artists as a result I would prefer.
There are those who are busy too! Real life is a pain in the rear and this works both ways, I know, and they may not be feeling it or I'm the one who's rude. But I'll accept that.
And rejection is fine. I've had people say no. And that's cool, I'm glad for the feedback of the reason!

In the sense that if I can do a fun little roleplay over a couple of hours that's cool, and if it develops into many just as good. Annoyingly I do get people asking then they drop off the face of the earth when I can't give them an f-list. Kinda ditched that site ages ago once people played creepy on me.
Long story short don't be afraid to talk to me. I know I'm not around 24/7 but I'm happy to discuss things, even jist ideas!

Looking for an artist!
Posted 7 years agoAs the title says I'm looking for an artist. Specifically one who is happy to go through a bit of character design with me rather than just flat out tell them what I want. Because in some respects I don't know what I want specifically but have a general idea!
I'd like to discuss with them the creation of one of three characters; a magical golem, a samurai style femboy and a shortstack goblin girl.
Obviously I'll pay. That's not in doubt. But it's always more hard to find somebody happy to discuss and throw creative ideas into the mix of what I got.
All that being said if you or somebody you know is willing to help and discuss prices please do send me a note.
