I'm going to be wiping the slate clean with shit. Don't feel any attachment right now to this account anymore. Really don't want to get into details. I just need to move on for my own sake.
With that! Yes, LC is still.. I suppose.. around.. I haven't drawn anything LC related since I left FA months ago.

Starting fresh and new on there. I will slowly upload any new artwork.

Posted 12 years agoThis will most likely be my last journal entry. Ever, if not for a long time.
I have had a lot of things physically, mentally and emotionally challenge me the past couple weeks.
I believed I could work through them as per usual and focus on finishing projects, commissions, work things.
However, the past two days have taken an extreme toll on me, especially mentally.
I do not want to put a lot of detail into this disclosing my personal life, but I did want to post something.
As hard as I tried to NOT have this happen.. I'm going to be giving back refunds of fursuit/etc things
that I've had. This may take me a little while as I only get paid so much each week which I barely get by paying other bills. I will however be paying back anyone that had paid commissions.
Anything that I'm almost done with I will be finishing. Slyll fursuit head, a couple drawings and mailing badges that I've had. With doing refunds, I will also be trying to sell off all the fur that I have, fabrics, as well as some other misc items, MLP stuff, other things I've collected to try to make up for the refund payments. There will be another journal listing everything after I've posted it.
I know only a handful if that, of you are going to be reading this.
But I thank those of you, no matter if it's one or two, that have supported me.
The fandom has become more of a job to me that has worn me down, including my artwork to where I no longer can even stand to look at my art supplies or have absolutely no passion left in my work.
I want to give refunds not because it is easier, but because it is the fairest thing to do to those of you
who have commissioned me. I can NOT finish something half assed or know that is NOT what YOU deserve and have paid for.
I would rather give you your money so you can use that yourselves rather than take it and strain myself, and then do an extremely poor job on what you've wanted. To me, that is not fair. I would not want that on either end.
I know some people may get pissed off and be angry, I can understand. I wanted to try to please everyone as usual and it is something that I came to terms with having to admit, in my current state I can't do that. I need to focus on getting myself into a better place right now.
Anyway, the next couple days I will be posting and sending artwork that I have done.
Any prizes or anything, I am sorry but I am not going to be able to finish them unless they're already done and to be posted. What I have already made for prizes for entries with FNS will be sent out and finished however from that contest. Otherwise, I will be contacting those of you to set up refunds. After that, I will be gone from this account. I'm leaving it open in case I do wish to come back to it, but as of right now after everything that is happening I don't see me returning.

Finally FINALLLLYYY moved into the new place. It's super amazing! I'll have to post pictures of it later on. It's huge compared to the previous apartment. Moved in with a friend of ours. He's awesome and a good roomie, also compared to our last... one... XD
So, interwebs I now has! Computer I now has! Tablet pen... was lost in the move.... D:< HOWEVER I will be still starting up commissions etc. I should be getting my tax return so with that I can buy a new tablet considering.. a new pen would cost 30+ $ ... may as well buy a new one, my old one is scratched anyway.
SOOOO On top of that.. after moving and sorting through a buttload of SHIT.. my lord I had no idea how much CRAP I've obtained! .... although a good 80% of my stuff is art supplies/clothing ''''XDD I've found some stuff that I just want to sell.. Instead of tossing etc. There are picturesssss down below. If they don't sell they ARE going to be TRASHED. So I would rather someone either make an offer [something serious not like 1$ for a tail ..] so it is gone. I'd hate to see this stuff thrown out x.x''

Once that opens we'll be holding a contest for the grand opening of that too.
OHHHHH ya.. an the design a fursuit head contest. That will be put on hold for awhile longer. I'm going to be doing everyones artwork, prizes what have you. I may have to renote all of you so I can get back into the groove of being on FA again. So excuse the brain deadness. But those will still be completed. Just the actual making of the suit head will be on hold til I have all my materials out of boxes etc.

Posted 12 years agoWanted to let people know .... Ill be gone until mid April maybe later.
Our apartment lease is up end of this month and been going crazy trying to find a new place that's big enough, decent price, close to work etc.
Also doing some things to try to get into a better job. Which has eaten up some time as well. I've been working loosely on commissions with the little time I've had, I apologize. Once we are settled into a new place and what not ill be able to focus more on here and art stuff
That includes the judging and updates with create a design contest. Ill try to do that Sunday since ill get a day off.

AC hotel booked! Hells Yeah
Posted 12 years agoWoooo soo... I forgot how much anxiety I got last year from waiting to book a hotel haha XD
We didn't even look at the Westin this year, NOT after the bullshit they pulled last year with charging me twice and not refunding until two weeks later, and then taking it out again, and having to refund me AGAIN... and overdrafting my account so I got slammed with fees from the bank, my student loans bounced yada yada...
[If you chose the westin and this is your first year, BE CAREFUL D:]
Anywho! We looked into getting the Courtyard room but when I went to even check the second that hotel booking opened, they didn't even show the Courtyard on there D: I refreshed it a couple times x.x' but still didn't see it. Anyone know if it booked like instantly?
So I was going to go for doubletree but I know a lot of people had mentioned the walk was a bit annoying having to go through the more trafficy bits of Pittsburgh. SOOO I figured Omni, we had walked by it last year and it looked really nice too.
Anyone stay there before? Have any tips or info about it? :D
We're going to be going down the day before this time around. Going down the 3rd and leaving on Sunday, since it was kind of not necessary to stay past Sunday. Plus work wouldn't be too thrilled... ugh. They're already giving me a hard time since it's July 4th week/weekend.
Double room! So this year no worrying about beds either XD
