I've also decided I'm going to strive towards going toooo.. RMFC! Yay! Hopefully :3 Need to seriously meet up with some awesome peeps out there.
I also.. got a new phone, huzzah! iphone 4s. Woo! I'll prolly be using that nifty panorama shot for a picture of my workspace. Can't wait to move.. to have a bigger one.

January 6th 2013 - Febuary 1st 2013
I'm doing this to involve you guys in the fursuit construction process! Below are the rules/steps in order to enter into this and how it's going to work! CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU GUYS HAVE FOR ME THIS YEAR!
If you're curious as to what is going on, I'm holding an event for people to design/create a fursuit head based on certain factors (listed below, please read!) that I will create after being judged. Then the head will be auctioned off after it's creation! There will be prizes awarded to the top three designers as well as a prize for the winning design. (Winner will also get a percentage off if they choose to bid on the head)
THIS YEAR THE HEAD WILL HAVE A FLEECE FACE ONLY! Please do not use any fur colors as the face as I will either use the fleece version or I will notify you that your design has to be altered :/
After Febuary 1st - I will have people vote on the top three designs out of everyone's. Then pick the top design out of the three along with a guest judge. They will be chosen based on creativity, originality, following the criteria. I don't want it a popularity contest or a "who colored better" attitude. Don't feel like you can't enter just because of your skills compared to others! If you're really worried please note me!
As for everyone else who has entered and didn't win the voting they will STILL get a free doodle/sketch of their character of choice as a thank you for participating! How to Enter!

★Post your Design Template on FA (scraps or gallery)
★ MUST BE A WATCHER

★ One submission per person, however if you change your submission it will replace the prior one you post
★ ORIGINAL DESIGNS ONLY! This can't be used for a free head of your sona, I do commissionsfor a reason!
★ Winner from previous year cannot place this year. Sorry! Trying to keep it fair!
★Link back to this Journal as well so others can enter! Either pimp it from your own journal or just post it on the submission(please post to submission at the very least so people can find this)
★Post your design in THIS JOURNAL ONLY please don't note or shout me to it, I want to keep it organized
★HAVE FUN! I really want to see what you guys have to create! Please no hard feelings, and do not think you can't do any better than the next! You won't know unless you try!!
Design Rules:
Please read closely and follow otherwise your design won't be used
★The design must include ONLY these colors(don't have to use all, this is just all I have available for this event); Purple, Neon Pink,Neon Green, Black, Turquoise, White, Dark Gray (There is a list on the Template as well)
★The colors above have a specific amount you can use (only because some are small and can be used as markings etc. The amounts are as follows:
-Neon Green(-enough for full head/base color at most)
-Dark Gray(-enough for full head/base color at most)
-Turqoise(-enough for full head/base color at most)
-Black(half a yard- enough for bigger markings/inner ear)
-Neon Pink(random scraps for dots/smaller markings)
-White(random scraps for dots/smaller markings)
Fleece Colors are as follows
FLEECE WILL BE USED FOR THE FACE, and is optional for the ears, inner ears, facial markings, tongue.
-Neon Green
-Yellow
-Dark Blue
-Light/Baby blue
-White
-Black
-Orange
-Red
((( If you are interested in using any other fleece colors let me know I can possibly get my paws on them!)))
PLEASE ADHERE TO THESE OTHERWISE I MAY HAVE TO TAKE OUT SOME MARKINGS/ETC IF YOUR DESIGN DOES GET CHOSEN!
(((If you're worried about any colors please note me I can help!)))
★You can add any piercings/gauges/shape markings/tufts of hair/etc you'd like.
★The nose and eyes can be ANY color [nose will be sculpted so no worries, EXCEPT THE HYBRID, his beak will be foamed! so please choose a fleece color!]
★ Your markings can be any shape, on any part of the face, ears can be different colors, etc. As long as the colors are within the ones I have available you can create the head however you would like!
★ The ears can also be fleece, they do not have to be fur, this will help you guys have more color choices
★The hybrid caribou/griffon you can choose any FLEECE colors for the larger horns, the smaller horns I can sculpt and can be ANY color. Please choose AT LEAST ONE type of horn style.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO A DIFFERENT SPECIES YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO! BUT due to my lack of skill, please no avians, reptiles, dragons, seacreatures. If you are unsure/curious feel free to note me!

I have some last minute things to patch up with it then it'll be good to go! I will post pictures and set up the auction for it!
In the meantime!!!! I will want to start another one for this year!
HOWEVER I kind of want to offer two other species than just canines.

LOOKING FOR FURSUIT MAKERS : HEAD COMMISH!
Posted 12 years agoI want to get some opinions of a fursuit maker for doing my head.
I want something more streamlined looking/canid looking not so much chubby and toony, or too realistic.
Also, I know of like DHC and MFY. So I'd really appreciate some more insight to different makers you guys like or think will suit my design. I know there's more out there who are damn good and maybe aren't as popular, I honestly don't care about popularity, I want it to just fit LC's design etc and be something I am willing to spend money on/made well all that jazz.
With that being said I don't want something crazy pricy though. I've seen some stuff that cost a bundle and I don't have a lot for JUST a head. However if the quality/craft was done well I would consider it more.

Posted 13 years agoStill trying to get through all my commissions etc. I want to get them done by the end of the month, BUT at the same time I do know I don't want to rush them and jip you guys out on anything, so it should be at the very most by the end of January.

Back! + Doing Halloween Badges!
Posted 13 years agoAlright! So the computer is all set up. It's an ooolld desktop that was back from when I was in middle school XD with my parents, but they weren't using it and I've been toting it around so I finally got everything to set it up.
Now with that, and my tablet actually in much better shape I am up and running again with commissions digitally. Some stuff I will still be doing traditionally [certain badges etc] But I hope to start doing more of the badge ideas I've had in the past, digitally.
Posted some commissions of badge arts. I will also be continuing work now on the digital commissions. My work sched is going to lighten up more, and have an extra day off again a week. HOPEFULLY. Which will mean more time for commissions. Huzzah! [as well as an upcoming webcomic, woo]
In other news! I'm going to be opening a decent amount of slots for some Halloween badges. They will be closing Halloween day. I'm trying some new style, cut out badges. Cutting out bits and pieces in the badge itself and either leaving it open when laminated, and/or putting some different paper/scrapbook cardstock in the cutout areas. Examples coming soon! [posting a WIP of them now!] -> FIND THEM HERE

Updates! Commission Status, Computer possibly? More News!
Posted 13 years agoJust wanted to do a rather quick update on the following things! That way you guys know where I am art/commission/trade etc!
Commissions:
These have been my main priority when getting my paws on a computer. This happens rarely since there's only one computer so far that I can get to that has photoshop.
THIS SHOULD BE REMEDIED SOON! I have gotten an old desktop from my parents and just need to set it up, get a keyboard and some other things, then it shall be up and running! So long as the internet decides it will grace it's presence on the old thing.. x.x' Fingers crossed!
Still working on the reference sheets and making another list so everyone can see the amount done on each thing as well as their own commissions!
I am still open for them, I am in need of paying off loans ASAP so I do have small traditional only commissions open. The head I am trying to auction off has not sold as of yet, if anyone is interested in it so long as there's no bids I could possibly talk something over about selling it on here and close the auction. If interested PLEASE contact me through email : tonicfox[at]ymail.com do not note me since I get my emails through phone much quicker!

I have a couple kandi bracelets/cuffs to finish as well as other things!
Fursuit Work:
Head is already foamed from the Event.
It is taped and ready to have the eyes placed in it and starting to lay out patterns!

Selling Tons of stuff!
Posted 13 years agoI'm having more issues financially.. especially with my student loans. More so just with them. Normally if it just effected me that'd be one thing, but my parents helping to sign for a few of them are now getting into debt with them and trouble as well.
To the point it's hurting their credit, mortage review, etc. So I need to..unfortunately sell some suit stuff etc. It's already to the point where it's borderline on collections. So I am posting this to see if people would be interested if I post up here/furbid my suit head, tail, some other tails etc.
Any other ideas on how I could possibly get more interest in selling little crafty things, badges etc would be appreciated. I'm already looking into having to claim bankruptcy.. at the age of 22...from college loans.. disgusting that myself and so many others are going through this.. Any help is greatly appreciated. I would never forgive myself if my parents lost their house, car or anything because of me.

July 4th 2012 - July 27th 2012
I'm doing this to involve you guys in the fursuit construction process! Below are the rules/steps in order to enter into this and how it's going to work!
If you're curious as to what is going on, I'm holding an event for people to design/create a fursuit head based on certain factors (listed below, please read!) that I will create after being judged. Then the head will be auctioned off after it's creation! There will be prizes awarded to the top three designers as well as a prize for the winning design, and a thank you doodle for those who've entered.
After July 27th - I will have people vote on the top three designs out of everyone's. Then pick the top design out of the three along with a guest judge [once I find someone 'XD] They will be chosen based on creativity, originality, following the criteria. I don't want it a popularity contest or a "who colored better" attitude. Don't feel like you can't enter just because of your skills compared to others! If you're really worried please note me!How to Enter!
Please read carefully!
★Read the Design Rules below! They are extremely important and need to be followed in order for your design to qualify!
★Fill out the Design Template found here -> HERE
(You may also use your own doodle reference if you wish, this is just for those who would rather use a premade ref.)
★Post your Design Template on FA (scraps or gallery)
★Link back to this Journal as well so others can enter! Either pimp it from your own journal or just post it on the submission(please post to submission at the very least so people can find this)
★Post your design in THIS JOURNAL ONLY please don't note or shout me to it, I want to keep it organized
★HAVE FUN! I really want to see what you guys have to create! Please no hard feelings, and do not think you can't do any better than the next! You won't know unless you try!!
Design Rules:
Please read closely and follow otherwise your design won't be used
★The design must include ONLY these colors(don't have to use all, this is just all I have available fur wise for this event); Purple, Neon Pink,Neon Green, Black, Turquoise, White, Dark Gray (There is a list on the Template as well)
★The colors above have a specific amount you can use (only because some are small and can be used as markings etc. The amounts are as follows:
-Neon Green(-enough for full head/base color at most)
-Dark Gray(-enough for full head/base color at most)
-Turqoise(-enough for full head/base color at most)
-Black(half a yard- enough for bigger markings/inner ear)
-Purple (8x10-enough for some markings)
-Neon Pink(random scraps for dots/smaller markings)
-White(random scraps for dots/smaller markings)
PLEASE ADHERE TO THESE OTHERWISE I MAY HAVE TO TAKE OUT SOME MARKINGS/ETC IF YOUR DESIGN DOES GET CHOSEN!
(((If you're worried about any colors please note me I can help!)))
★You can add any piercings/gauges/shape markings/etc you'd like.
★The nose and eyes can be ANY color.
★ Your markings can be any shape, on any part of the face, ears can be different colors, etc. As long as the colors are within the ones I have available you can create the head however you would like!
★The species that I'm going to foam is going to be a canine.

I'm open for fursuit commissions.. but I really want to work on foaming and restructuring my style. It's been almost a year since I've really worked on something in a decent time/manner etc. I want to try to improve so..
I'm curious if you guys would be interested to see any particular characters foamed out of mine. I'll be foaming the head. Or ORRR do something crazy fun!

If I get enough people wanting to do the design a head, based on particular color fur I have etc, then I will post a template for everyone to doodle/color then post and I along with a general popular vote of my FA watchers, will pick the winning design to be foamed/furred/auctioned!

I'm open for fursuit commissions.. but I really want to work on foaming and restructuring my style. It's been almost a year since I've really worked on something in a decent time/manner etc. I want to try to improve so..
