A little update
General | Posted 9 years agoJust to let you guys know that I am working on commissions/ych's, I only have a couple of hours each day at the moment since it's coming up to my graduation, convention, multiple birthdays and halloween so I'm trying to balance everything with little sleep ;v;)/

I need to get some money together to stock up on new prints for my next con, so I'm going to be reducing the usual price of my commission works as well as open slots for things I don't usually take on ! :D
I'd also love to start saving for Paris properly and I'm slowly counting down the days until I start my new job so I need to get cash together ( since pay day will still be a bit away ! )
ADVICE?
I'd love any suggestions or advice for future YCH's, commission ideas and what you'd like to see from me. I can get examples together of things too so there's not just a guess on what you'll be buying. I'll likely create bundles, including keyrings they I sell at conventions.

I'm going to open collaborations HOWEVER the subject really doesn't matter, here's why...
- Send me a line-art or sketch of whatever, it can be old or something you will draw up for me to colour
- If it is of your character, then feel free to link your references with it
- I will not pick every single art piece, but feel free to link to other things or even email me
- If you'd like to draw something up for me to colour then please ask me incase you draw it expecting me to colour it and in the end I don't do it.
- There is no set time limit on this for me, it is fully for my own practice
- These will mainly be digital, however if I feel a picture would have better justice done traditionally then it'll be that
- Please don't be offended if I don't choose you

So basically this is for my own practice, though you can get some semi-free art that you yourself might not have wanted to take the time to colour. I am not asking you to draw up pictures of Akiko, if you do then thank you but please note that I am not forcing this on you, any character is fine. :)

General | Posted 9 years agoUnless you have some of my other social media links you probably don't know what happened over the past 2 weeks, so I'll just explain here and hopefully clear things up.
My mum fell pretty ill, she was having a lot of trouble breathing and it badly effected her body and so I had to spend almost all of my time to make sure she was alright when she was released from the hospital since my dad works full time. He was given some time off but his job is at a critical point and he's needed due to his position. I'm not wanting to use this as an excuse but rather to explain where I have been and why updates have been rather slow. I'm in a mood at the moment where I don't want to reply to notes but hopefully it changes tomorrow. I had to have a big clear out of things in the house because I was sick of the clutter and that's what I've been doing with the spare time whilst my mother's been ill. She's finally able to talk again and walk around on her own but it's still effecting her.
For those waiting for shipping of badges, my post office times have been backwards since a revamp on the shop ( meaning I would have to go to the next town over and I live in a pretty small village ) but hopefully things will be sent out either tomorrow or Friday ( monday at the latest ) since I have to go to university for provisional marks.
The only thing I really have the energy for is doodle sketches right now ;o; So please forgive me, I hope I can get back on track.

- You must give changes during the sketch stage, only minimal changes such as colour changes or small things that may have been missed are allowed.
-Add any and all info needed for changes in the Additional Info section on a YCH, as YCH do not receive WIPs unless extremely detailed (Chibi's do NOT receive a WIP and only minor changes can be done, such as colour or missed markings at the end)
- All payment is upfront, using Paypal only
- Have the money prepared before you contact me for a commission
- Do not send the money before I have accepted the commission
- If I have not yet started a commission, (any sketche(s) etc), then I will provide a full refund
- Please make sure you are spending your money wisely, art is a luxury, not a need!
- Additional characters will always cost more than the base price of one character, sometimes they may be cheaper than just one character, please see commission sheets or info, or simply ask
- You cannot receive a refund if:
- You do not like the finished product, as you should have given guidance during the sketch stage
- You have changed your mind on a piece in the future
- If I have provided you with a sketch, you will only receive a partial refund due to time already spent communicating and working on the sketch.
- I have the right to decline any commission, request or trade.
- Prices listed in GBP must be sent in GBP only, if you have any issues, I can send an invoice
- If you wish to use your commission for profit, you must say so BEFORE commissioning me and have my approval. If used to advertising purposes or anything aside from personal use, there may be additional fees involved, especially depending on the level of advertising/profit you will be gaining from this piece.
- If you use any work of mine for profit without my permission then legal action will be taken.
- If you wish for changes in the future, please be aware that I may not have the original files anymore. In addition to this, if I DO have the original files, there will be a fee for any changes such as colour. Changes will change the price of the fee, but it will start at £8 GBP for time.

General | Posted 9 years agoI'm made up FA is back but I earned so many watchers before the last save, and met a lot of people but I've been shot right back down to 700 and of course the pieces I posted are missing too so I've no way to track them </3
It's quite a scary thing really, imagine if it was everything? Where would we start?
I really hope to find the people from these past few days and I'm glad that we didn't all lose everyone, it's ridiculous that there are hacking attacks on this site, like really what are you achieving ??
On the plus side I had time to start up my Akiko reference sheet which I said I'd do in my previous journal, I've made sure to show her markings, hair and face with her bo staff and I need to put in her bowl arrows, quiver, mask, gloves, guard and so on- references are so much harder than you think they'd be hot damn !
I'll need to make one of Rox but I doubt it'll need to be as detailed, perhaps when I progress him more as a character tho ;v;
Sorry for any typos, I'm typing on my iPad before I get ready to work on more art
I'm feeling pretty worried for the artists that may have lost people with ych commission stuff if they worked through messages and not notes. This hacking is really messed up and gets worrying the more I think about it.
Although it seemed like forever to get the website back up, it was very quick so weldone to the staff for making sure we had a back up and got rid of what was there. Let's hope it doesn't happen again <3

Next month, June, will mark 3 years of having someone constantly stalk my work and online presence. Now, that not being the main reason I'm making this journal, but something to help perhaps... "Shed some light" to those who don't know what having an online stalker means or even what it's about.
An online stalker is someone who constantly monitors whatever you do online, no matter what it is or where it is; I'll cover more about this of course, as well as the literal meaning for it.
Recently a friend of mine has also become a victim to this. And man does that piss me off.
So, let's go over what else an online stalker does, shall we? And how to spot one. If you know anyone who fits any of the topics listed, it might be best to avoid them completely.
"Cyberstalking is the use of the Internet or other electronic means to stalk or harass an individual, a group, or an organization. It may include false accusations, defamation, slander and libel. It may also include monitoring, identity theft, threats, vandalism, solicitation for sex, or gathering information that may be used to threaten or harass."
I'd also like to clarify that "You could just block them" does NOT work. Blocking does not work like it used to in the days of MSN where you could hit block and choose whether they could see anything about you online even if they made a fake account.
These days, blocking merely stops their contact toward you, they are still perfectly capable of viewing anything and everything you post online. And if they want to contact you, they just need to make a new account which simply takes them 3 minutes.
- A stalker is someone who harasses you/your account, and depending on the website it can differ in what they do.
- These people can cause more than just an inconvenience, since these people have access to private messages to those around you.

They make your online life a living hell, cause you to make other accounts to start over, put everything on private ( Causing you to lose out on new fans and friends ) or even make you quit. Never, EVER quit because of these low life people. They have the time to be a pain online, you have the time to create more and progress, leaving them to wallow in what they think is funny. They're the one's letting it take over their life, don't let it happen to you too.
- "Doesn't that make you a stalker too if you know they're copying you?" Now here's the thing, for me personally I had people note me, personally message me through the likes of facebook and I had to tell these people to stop it because it wasn't healthy for me to see. I don't look at anything they do and haven't for about... 2 years now? For the entirety of it starting, I was VERY paranoid and would end up checking like once a month in case it was anything bad about me. I'd just get myself upset because they'd steal the designs of what I had, like the Kabuki mask and even the weapons my characters have used and had since mid-late 2000's - Eventually I fell into the mindset of "You know what? Fuck it. If they want to copy, it just shows how unoriginal they are and it's not gonna' get them far, they'll be caught out eventually and I just need to keep doing what I love without them in my head." and honestly it worked. I never check their stuff, I get messaged here and there and I YET AGAIN tell them to stop ( I deleted a few people who clearly wanted to spark it up all the time )
- Stalker's will go out of their way to go through your past stuff and maybe even convince people to talk to you/ask questions and get info all for malicious intent. Be sure of who you talk to, have proof of anything to show how you're not in the wrong if they're the type to bitch about you. Even if it's just a file in the depths of your laptop that you don't see all the time so you only see it when it's ever needed ( hopefully not, but mine ended up coming up a few times when people confronted me about the lies they spread. )
- IT'S GOING TO HURT. IT'S GOING TO BE SCARY. There's no way around it, if you have one of these cretin's on your back all the time, you're gonna' feel like any word you type is going to start something or be turned around to use against you, even the most innocent of things. JUST DON'T GIVE A FUCK. It's YOUR website, YOUR BLOG, YOUR JOURNAL, YOUR ARTWORK, YOUR WHATEVER. You can do whatever the fuck you want, if they're annoyed then that's their issue, not yours- Just don't go around back-talking, that's just throwing yourself into the fire.
- It won't stop hurting for a long time. It won't stop because you know they're still there. But that's fine. Because you're still strong. And eventually you won't feel anything aside from the amusement that they're still wasting their life on you. How awesome are you? :D
- Once it starts to die down for you, just see it more as a compliment that you're so damn COOL that this person can't get over you <3

I'm not after a pity party or anything like that, I'm just really concerned for my friend and what they're going through. Next month, June, will mark 3 years of having someone constantly stalk my work and online presence. Now, that not being the main reason I'm making this journal, but something to help perhaps... "Shed some light" to those who don't know what having an online stalker means or even what it's about.
An online stalker is someone who constantly monitors whatever you do online, no matter what it is or where it is; I'll cover more about this of course, as well as the literal meaning for it.
Recently a friend of mine has also become a victim to this. And man does that piss me off.
So, let's go over what else an online stalker does, shall we? And how to spot one. If you know anyone who fits any of the topics listed, it might be best to avoid them completely.
"Cyberstalking is the use of the Internet or other electronic means to stalk or harass an individual, a group, or an organization. It may include false accusations, defamation, slander and libel. It may also include monitoring, identity theft, threats, vandalism, solicitation for sex, or gathering information that may be used to threaten or harass."
I'd also like to clarify that "You could just block them" does NOT work. Blocking does not work like it used to in the days of MSN where you could hit block and choose whether they could see anything about you online even if they made a fake account.
These days, blocking merely stops their contact toward you, they are still perfectly capable of viewing anything and everything you post online. And if they want to contact you, they just need to make a new account which simply takes them 3 minutes.

Where I've Been ( And Will Be )
General | Posted 10 years agoI recieved a few notes asking where I am and how to contact me since I've been away- Please don't worry at all !!
I'm in the last stretch of university *finally* and all of my hard work and dedication is going into it; this means I'm going to be away from here and other websites until mid-late April when I finally have the ending exhibition of my artwork.
It's a pain in the butt and the most difficult thing I've had to do, but I'm fighting on and I'm sure I'll get where I want to be.
Hopefully during May after I come back from my holiday I can start up commissions and get myself back on track whilst I begin searching for a job. I'll keep you fully posted after then so you can see what I'm up to. <3

I don't work though I make a profit off of my drawings. I'm currently a student on a painting and artists history course, which ends next June.
