I haven't forgotten FA :)
General | Posted 17 years agoBut what's happened is, I've been taking advantage of my new life to find out what's online. And jeez... there's unbelievable amounts of things to get into out there! There's more MMORGS and role-play and oekaki and art sites and other crap than the mind can comprehend! How does anyone keep from getting sucked into this 24/7 is a mystery. I've had it proven to me quite plainly that if you have any spare time or spare cash to your name the Internet will suck both out of you before you know it. So I've forcbily trained myself to cut back and get some of my life back. I guess there really is such a thing as internet addiction, and I have to stop myself before it happens to me. O_O
So far... very interesting ^_^
General | Posted 18 years ago So... I've been putting my art on FurAffinity for three weeks now, and my statistics panel says I have more than 800 watches. I guess that's pretty good for someone who's been thinking about getting back into his art. :)
Yes, getting back into it. Believe it or not, everything I've posted so far is actually art that I've cleaned up and applied Photoshop color to, that's several years old. I used to draw a lot back in the 2005-2006 time frame, just as a hobby, and I was under the impression that I wasn't too bad at it. (As you can probably tell, most of my influence comes from the old classic cartoons made in Hollywood for theaters. ^_^) But I never really got around to showing anyone my stuff. And what with one thing and another, both job-wise, family-wise and life-wise, I just seemed to fall out of the drawing habit.
Now that I have a little more time and stability in my life, I've been wondering if I should pick up the pencil again. I kind of thought I'd get some opinions about my stuff as encouragement. (Or, of course, otherwise, if it turns out I suck. >_<)
One thing I couldn't help but notice is that my sexy pics get a lot more attention than the ordinary ones. Yeah, big surprise - like I haven't been looking around the rest of FA. ^_^ Like the old saying goes, "sex sells". And I'm cool with that! It's just kind of a new experience for me to see it applied to my own stuff. It's going to be interesting to see what people think if/when I start creating new art again.
