Howdy! I'm a commissioner and artist. My sona's personality & preferences are mirrored from my own. I consider them to be me if I were an anthro, rather than an alternative persona of myself.
▸ How I ended up a furry
My interest in the furry community started around 2012ish and I lurked for years before finally creating a fursona.
▸ Why I picked a 'zonkey' as my fursona
Always had an interest in equines, their image was surprisingly hard to avoid in daily life. Picking a horse of an American breed was my first choice as a fursona, but a zebra / donkey-mix just felt more like me.

Posted a year agoI’ve been drafting up a few OCs and started thinking about the world they’d occupy, which eventually led to social decorum!
Once conventional self-grooming methods like licking & biting would be considered a backwards, more ‘primal’ way of cleaning yourself. I’m thinking it’d be a faux pas on the same level as picking your nose.
Other grooming methods that could be considered particularly distasteful would include: shaking water / dirt off yourself, rolling in grass to get dry, dust baths, & eating bugs found while preening.
