Like every new thing announced, the concept could sound like the end of the world as we know it, but the execution could end up having the exact opposite or no effect at all. Think about the Google Pixel 4. It had a Soli radar that promised a lot of features accessed by gestures. Neat concept, but nobody implemented it, except Google itself. They made two gestures: wave to silence alarms, and wave to skip back and forth through Google Play Music. Bad execution.

This kind of analogy mirrors Web3 to an extent: all these features sound like the interent becoming a lawless "Dark age" where everyone doesn't want to be online but is forced to by their working environment. What's gonna make or break Web3 and the future is how those who implement it protect themselves and others.

I'm seriously considering monetizing my channel, but I'm short on watch hours. I need at least 4,000 public watch hours so I can monetize. So I call upon this community to help me achieve that goal.

Anyone remember the Megatouch? It was a series of touchscreen bartop game systems made by Merit Industries. Well, I'm looking for one to add to my life. Specifically, I'm looking for any Ion unit.

I don't want a Maxx unit (or any CRT machine) because of the absolute nightmare it could be to replace the Power Supply or CRT if either fails. No Fusion uprights because those are hevay, large, and impractical. No wall-mounted units either. Lastly, I don't want any Gametime units because they are a different architecture.

So to reiterate, I'm mainly looking for an Ion unit. I prefer a sale in the Ark-La-Tex.

Given I'm now 18, and focusing more on my YouTube channel and future, I'm changing this account status to "Archival" given the situation. I may never post again, but I'll be around every once in a while. My icon will also change to reflect this.

My YouTube channel is a small channel with no monetization, a LOT of copyright material used, and I know this isn't gonna be a thing long-term.
I'm seriously considering ending my channel early. I won't delete my channel. Instead it would be more like retirement. It'll stay up, all the videos will stay up, and I'll still be around to comment occasionally. I'll just stop posting videos.

This isn't happening right now as I speak, but I know I want to do it sometime in the future. This platform is not my future. I have something better in store for me. I know it.

It wasn't that long ago (actually a couple days ago) that I got the message from mom:
"Grandma passed"

My grandmother was in hospice for a few days by then, in pain, and in random strength levels. Some days she couldn't even open her eyes.
Now it's over. She's passed away, but I'm not as sad as you might think.
I know that she isn't really gone. She's just on her way to Heaven, a place with no pain.
All I want for Christmas is comfort in this time of mourning.

We lost Tato from a chain of events that can only be described as disastrous. Trolls, harassment, cancel, abandonment, I guess it's a good thing I don't have a career here.

Long short of it, we need a massive push from FA on how we as people are treated. Being a user here is a choice we made out of our own decisions, and cancelling people because of the choice they made, weird or not, is unacceptable. If this New World Order gets one thing right, it's how people and their choices are treated.

I only ask my friends to know the call to take action, when the timing is right. I'm not posting ANYTHING until the matter is resolved.

A lot of my longer videos take so much time to record, edit, and finalize for YouTube, and they receive next to no attention. The situation gets worse when my most popular video (at almost 600k views and rising) IS A STUPID TIKTOK TREND THAT I MADE OUT OF BOREDOM AND NOBODY GIVES A DAMN ABOUT THE ACTUAL FUCKING ORIGINAL CONTENT!!!!

Nobody cares about actual, quality, original, well-thought-out content that my channel focuses on these days. It's all stupid memes and that danger zone known as TikTok that YouTube (and the community) cares about. IT'S ALL THE SAME THING, LIKE, WILL YOU TAKE THE TIME TO APPRECIATE ORIGINAL CONTENT?! Don't you get bored of essentially the same thing every day?

My Windows XP setup is filled with some of my favorite childhood games, from Ricochet Xtreme to LEGO Island, and then a few more games like Luxor and MicroMan's Crazy Computers! But I'm missing a game.

To describe it best I can, the piece of software is a collection of many games, ranging from mazes to board games to something like Incredibots (R.I.P BTW) in 3D. Some games allow up to 3 computers, making 4 in total. I remember throwing a pie at an alien (a computer player avatar)

First it was the death of George Floyd, then FNaF creator Scott Cawthon bullied by an LGBT community he donated too, then I reached my breaking point after an NOPD Officer was shot by a man who simply didn't want to wear a mask (the pandemic is improving, but that's not the point). The novelty of a gaming PC has completely worn out. I rarely use it these days, much less play the games I paid for on Steam!
This really goes to show that having money cannot buy you happiness (with the exception of Minecraft but that's not the point), and that short-term benefits never works out.
In this case, the long-term benefit would be to have a normal, reliable PC for years and just use the gaming PC occasionally, rather than using the gaming rig for everything.
That's a mistake I'll never make again. This Christmas, I'll add to my Wish List either a mid-range PC or mid-range Mac Mini. There's no point having the high-end specs if you won't use them to their fullest potential.

BTW I'm not quitting. Just having a crisis >~<
