So, here's what my schedule was going to look like: Trotcon on the 21st, Music Camp on the 22nd, Trip down to New Orleans about a week after the Camp. But then something happened...Apparently, I was given the wrong dates for that trip down to New Orleans...The one I spent MONTHS doing fundraisers for. It was actually apparently the 18th/22nd...Meaning, if I went to it, I'd miss both Trotcon and registration for the music camp.
Now, normally a Camp isn't a big deal, but this one is. I paid -$800- to go...There are big concerts every night, and the musicians from the popular bands are the teachers. I'm even in the advanced Bass class, KIND of important to me.
And Trotcon? Look at my favorites and see all teh ponies. You KNOW I want to go to that more than anything...

Why I need to avoid people.
Posted 13 years agoMore specifically, my family. i was just in close contact with my Mother, future step-dad, future step-brother, two younger sisters, and handicapped younger brother. Dear god, I want to kill all of them.
We left Wednesday morning and returned around 7:00 today (Thursday). I got no privacy during that time. My Mom and step-Dad weren't that bad, they knew not to be completely annoying...We went to the indoor waterpark the first day. Got a really nasty scrape on my knee, which is bothering me still.
My step-brother has done nothing but spout memes, meme-faces, really dumb jokes he doesn't get, and all around stupid nonsense. Damn kid's 11 and goes around the park saying "Dafuq is this, dafuq is that, dafuq are you?" It was funny maybe the first time out of 1,000.
My sister has been trying to piss my off, and it's working. She does this all the time. Oppositional defiance, spitefulness and all around bitchiness.
My youngest sister has been throwing temper-tantrums, and getting away with them. Hell, they're PRAISING her in the end.
My handicapped brother stayed up ALL NIGHT MAKING NOISES. I didn't sleep a wink...
All the while my Dad has been sending me, my mom, and future step-dad harassing Email's because he hates himself so much he has to make others feel horrible about themselves.
To top it all off, I now have a horrible case of "My body thinks it's on a roller coaster and won't stop making everything go up and down."
All of this wouldn't be so bad, since my step-brother would be leaving tomorrow, BUT NO. He's staying ALL. WEEKEND. I am GETTING MY ALONE-TIME. He's not going to ruin ponies for me, regardless of how much he talks about it. I will get alone time, piss my Dad off and win the argument, and feel good at the end of the day. It'll all feel better after sleeping in for twelves hours tomorrow...yeah.
And in conclusion, this is why I need to avoid my family for the next two years of my life, 'til I move out. They drive me insane.

Posted 13 years agoI swear, am I the only person I can depend on? Everyone else seems to continuously screw things up for me, so it looks like I have no choice but to do everything myself.
You can remind them over and over, but when it comes down to it, they really don't care. The least they could do is try, y'know? But no, they sit there on their asses playing Minecraft while letting that auction sit and fester...If they want to do things their special little way of bidding at the last second, the least they could do is REMEMBER.

As a child, I was always had the bad, disgusting, horrific habit of distorting my "s" sound. It hurts, because people poke fun at me all the time. My mother is far too cheap to buy speech therapy or help me at all, so I'm taking measures into my own hands. The Internet is being a wonderful resource, and soon I shall have that perfect voice. Just needs to happen now, dammit ._.
