I realized after I posted the last journal that I'm a derp. It's December (not that I can fucking tell with all these mother FUCKING PALM TREES D:< ) and I almost always do a year end sale. And I've been toying with the idea of pay what you want commissions. SO I guess I'll do it now.

My sona is pred, but I tend to prefer prey point of view, which is why DTH is from Noah's perspective. Pred fits my personality very well though, which is why Lem is the way she is. XD I should come up with a prey sona though...

I need to design some prey characters. Preds are super easy for me and I have about a bazillion idea for them. I've only got 3 ideas for a prey characters and two of them are human, and one is a rat.

Several of you have discovered the hard way that I'm a little weird about roleplaying. I've tried normal chat rps before, and have never been able to get into it, because I'm very uncomfortable pretending I am my character unless the character has been designed for that purpose. Lem is the only one I would be comfortable using, and even then it's a little iffy.

A few people have wanted to role play with me using Mort and Noah, and it's super weird for me, because I've figured out their personalities, so they can only react to things a certain way, (i.e. If some random character suddenly showed up with Mort, depending on where in his timeline it happens, he'd probably just kill them and eat them. He's pretty happy tormenting Noah, he doesn't necessarily have any interest in anyone else until later. And I know that's not the sort of thing you're after if you want to role play with him. XD) and for me to manipulate them to fit a rp feels like turning them into weird puppets. And for whatever reason, writing them doesn't feel the same. Writing them is more like dropping them in a scenario and watching them figure it out themselves. Yes there's often a result that I want, but sometimes I get there, and it doesn't feel right, and I have to fix it so the characters aren't pushed to do something not right for them. (Hahaha, Noah's whole life isn't right but... eh. XD ) So yes, I do pretend to be them, and I enjoy doing that with characters, but it feels very different than what I usually feeling during rp.

But, I have also done literary role playing (which I will always question being called rp at all, more like co-writing) where you write the character from the third person perspective, and for me this feels way more immersive than normal chat rp. This I would be comfortable doing with any character so long as it doesn't interfere with their timeline. So if you want to rp with me, this is what I'm comfortable doing. It's a little more work, and can take much longer- like if you want to do this with me, expect responses to take between minutes and hours to complete since I sometimes write a few paragraphs. It also requires a little planning ahead of time, but can take some sudden and unexpected turns and can be a lot of fun.

Maybe I'll be able to do normal rp someday but... haha I don't know. It's weird because I almost role play every day. I pretend I'm different characters- not completely obviously, and try to handle things the way they would, sometimes to help me get through difficult things, sometimes just for fun. SO you'd think I could handle doing it with someone else, but nopenopenope apparently not.

I'm bringing this up because it happened again today, and I just want to express my feelings about it.
The art I post to my gallery here, is the same that I post to my Patreon a few days/weeks/months earlier. Its smaller, and the watermarks are slightly larger, but its the same.

So I don't appreciate when someone pledges to support me, downloads all my art, and then jumps ship five minutes later. I don't use Patreon as a pay wall, I use it as a tip jar. If you like my art, and are willing to throw some cash at me, you get my art a little sooner.

SO to the fuckers that keep getting my hopes up and then smashing them, I know who many of you are. Some of you are dumb enough to use your FA user names. I will make a black list if this continues, and if it gets bad, I'll make it public so people know to watch out for you. I don't know if you're posting the art somewhere, or what but this is just so so not cool all by itself.

Pledging and then finding out that you can't swing it this month, or something like that is fine, but I know this isn't the deal, because these people are pledging $1 and then ditching within minutes. Like I get the e-mail, and go to check out who pledged 5 seconds later, and they're already gone. Like WHOOPS I SLIPPED AND PLEDGED. No. Fuck that.

Like I said, I post nothing there that I don't post here, besides stream notifications, and the occasional PSD file, so you don't gain anything SPECIAL by doing this. The special stuff is for those who stick around and it can't be downloaded.

For those of you who know what I'm talking about, I apologize for the recent drama.
I should have ended it before it started, because I saw it for what it was, and naively thought if I dealt with it gently, it would end more... gracefully.
It did not, several of you treated it the way I should have, (ahem, in not tolerating it from the start) and certain parties underlined the red flags I should have uprooted sooner.
I'm sorry if you got involved defending me, I really, really appreciate it, but I can speak for myself, and it wasn't really necessary for you to do anything.
To be clear, I don't tolerate people bashing each other on my pages. If you must fight, do it elsewhere. I believe people should be allowed to say what they please, but politely, and tactfully. Making a scene and making others uncomfortable isn't cool.
I sort of cleaned up the, er, mess, but again, free speech and all... so I didn't want to hide everything... >>' I'm not God or anything. Shit did happen.
You're welcome to hide your own involvement if you want, I just took down anything that was over the line.

I just had one of those half awake morning dreams that would make an excellent story/comic, but in the muddled way dreams can be, half the time there was gryphon and half the time there was a dragon. It would work equally well either way, and I don't particularly care, so I'll leave it to the numbers.

Anywhere else I should spread my diseased lemony self?

If you aren't in the know, I am currently attending a school with a very intense, fast paced course for digital animation and visual effects. The class is 5 hours long, and meets 5 days a week and yet last week alone (week 2), I spent 60+ hours on school work alone.
I have no time for a job, and I am often burned out enough by the end of the day (and it only ends because I can't stand to model anymore) that I have no interest in taking commissions- mostly because I don't want to make promises I can't keep. I also find drawing my own characters, in situations of my choosing to be more relaxing than a request- in many cases, anyway. This is not to say I don't want to take them, I just am not on a schedule that allows for it, while leaving time for personal art, and sanity.
So I've been tentatively considering starting a Patreon. This would allow people who wanted to support me, to do so, while allowing me to do my own thing- (this would probably be 90% working on that comic with characters you guys have shown interest in). You could chip in as much or as little as you wanted. I'd also add some fun features like Patreon only livestreams (I just got set up to stream -exciting!), photoshop files you could download to see my settings, things like that.
So, let me know! Would you be in favor of this? 95% of my art would still be free, and posted here, it just might be posted to Patreon first, and probably at full size, rather than the sized down versions I post here. And even $1 would help me get food and continue to live inside, and not in a box. My savings are going to run out fast, even though I'm only eating bagels and hotdogs right now. >>

My only concern, and I might be over thinking it, is this: I'm not into sexual vore, but I certainly draw kinky drawings, and Pateon has a policy against pornography, and normally I wouldn't think twice about it, but this is the way they phrase it: "“Pornography” is defined as material designed with the sole intention of eliciting sexual arousal." Not going to lie, half the time that's the point of vore for me. Which is why I stopped to think about it. I also know no vore artists with a Patreon. >> Opinions on that?
I dunno, I think it'll be okay, but I keep going back to that and pondering.

Will Draw:
Anthros, ferals, humans; any species, real or imagined.
Reference photos will be required if the character is made-up. I can go on description for most things, but photos are far, far more helpful.

In terms of NFSW art, I am open to kinky stuff that I may not have in my gallery, but some things I am not willing to sexualize, so please be explicit about your request so I fully understand what you are requesting. Some things I may be willing to draw, but not willing to upload to my gallery, and I will be forthcoming about that. Some things I may not be willing to draw at all. I will be upfront with you about any request I am uncomfortable about completing.

I hold the right to refuse anything I am uncomfortable drawing, without explanation.

I also hold the right to refund and stop work if I feel uncomfortable at any point during the process.
In this case, no files will be due, no progress shots will be recorded unless I am comfortable sharing them, and contact with the commissioner may be cut if I feel the need. Please respect my right to cut ties. Harassment will be dealt with. The refund will be complete unless an agreement can be made.

There is a 10% price increase for any art including genitalia or NSFW topics depending on my willingness to draw them; this includes penises and vaginas, or (in terms of aliens, and imaginary species) any reproductive organs that resemble them, sexual depictions of a more explicit nature, and anything else I deem NSFW. I do not include breasts under this heading. I’ll draw those for the normal price. ;)

You can request my characters if you so desire! I'll do a 5% discount if you request your characters with mine, and 10% off if you request just my characters.

Payments- Paypal Only
You will be notified when your request is accepted when payment will be expected. Generally, I expect half down after the initial sketch has been approved, and the remaining due after a low resolution preview has been approved. I will also accept full payment upfront- this is personal preference, but you must have the full amount available upon initial request.
Payment plans are an option for commissions over $200, unless otherwise stated.

Refunds:
I do not offer refunds at any point during the process, unless no work has been completed.
Refunds are only offered when I feel I cannot produce the work requested for whatever reason.
If you are unhappy with the work I have completed, I am always happy to make changes, within reason. I will not accept requests I do not feel I can complete well, so as long as you are clear about your request, there should be no reason that you will not be happy with the final piece.

Changes:
I am willing to change most things in an image after completion, but there are limits to what I am willing to do without compensation. If the change will take more than an hour, I will begin charging a $10 per hour fee for changes.

Turnaround:
If you have a deadline you would like the work completed by, say so in your initial message, so I can tell you whether or not I will be able to meet your requirements. Unless otherwise requested, work will be completed at my earliest convenience. I will give a general idea of when I believe I will ale to supply the final piece, but this is an estimate only.

Rights:
I retain ALL RIGHTS to my artwork ALWAYS. If you would like to purchase the rights to the art I will be producing for you, please ask about this.
There is always the possibility that I will post WIP shots, stream you commission, and post the final image. If you are not comfortable with this, please let me know, but be aware that I am not obligated to follow any requests of this nature unless you purchase the rights to your commissioned image.
