I've been going trough a lot of life changing evens, and this account just... needs to dissapear, I'm no longer the naive filly I used to be and this account no longer serves the propose I wanted it to, so I decided to start anew!

In case you're curious as to what happened well...

1-After years of suspecting it, I found out the reason why mature art bothers me... and I want to use this last journal to come out of the closet... or pantry!
I am an aromantic asexual
I'm not represed, there is nothing wrong with me, it's just the way I am and I can't help it.

I reached this conclusion after YEARS of insight, questioning myself and even therapy, I even tried to "force" myself to swing either way but you just can't help who you are and... yeah.
That's how it goes.


2- I FINALLY GRADUATED!
Yes! now I'm allmost a full-fledged veterinarian! I'm working on getting a license now so I can get a Master's Degree in animal behaviour!
clinical work is not my thing and I may be able to do more good if I go to research.

3- I'm taking english lessons so hopefuly my writing/ conversation skills will improve

4- I got to know the internet a bit better... there be monsters out there!

So that's that! This account will be suspended in two weeks and starting now, I'll be nuking my whole gallery.

let's see... the most intresting things about this past semester were:

-surgery practice
it wasn't that bad, I tougth it was going to be worst =)
friendships were forged and enemies where made.

I've been having weird... and I mean.. WEIRD dreams x___x they're very different but they have one thing in common: a White Eye/ Mu Hippogriff... I migth adopt it as an alternative shape of both of them so maybe you'll be seeing it soon.

remember the ghost that supposedly was in my house? well, I think I debunked some of it's "signs"....
but not all of them, and I still can't explain something I saw on the stairs, on a closet and at the backyard X______x I don't have enough evidence to say my house is officialy haunted, but strange things do happen now and then.

this time I got a real valid excuse: Surgery class *faints*
talk about a hard topic x_____x and the dictator/headmaster, just becouse he felt like it, compressed EVERYTHING in ONE semester D: it's too little time so I've had to make the most of it.
we were already operating on live patients after just 3 weeks of theory x____x thankfully, all but one survived, and what's even better, they all found a home with a family that will care for them for as long as they live =)
... the one that didn't is a very sad case I really don't want to talk about x____x... it's sad becouse she didn't die becouse someone messed up.
aaaargh don't want to talk about it or I'll make a big drama out of it xP jsut.. don't remind me plz

so yeah.. surgery is what's keeping me busy, one time my team and I, we came to school at 8 am, spent untill 10am getting the patient ready for the operating room AND WENT HOME AT 11PM!! I hat to be the anesthesist, had to make sure the patient remained unconcious during the procedure.... oof most stressing thing I've done xP I'd rather be the surgeon (the one doing the whole operation)

btw my stitches suck :D ... they have never come off but... well.. let's just say they'll leave one big, ugly scar... I'm still a noob ^^U

after giving it a tougth, there is someone to blame for the stress attack... I can't say names so let's just call him Dr. P (or Dr. Pee if you want), that man could frustrate anyone >< I'm not going to give you all the details, let me just tell you he has the brain of an engineer and the ethics of a freakin' maggot.
he didn't break my self confidence.. he tore it off, crushed it on a Blendtec blender untill it became a fine powder and then tossed it out of a window of a moving racecar... and I wasn't the only one >< it's taking a while to get it back at how it used to be.

I'm not goign to bear a grudge against him, tough. he's not worth it and I won't see him again in my career so there is no use on it itsn't it?

BTW! I turned 5 on November 17, that would be 21 in human years, so I'm officially an adult mare now...

*Went to see Cirque du Soleil's Dralion.... D: it's.... so... AMAZING! incredible beyond words....

*practiced with a live Horse fot the first time =) a miny mare, 3 years old, skewbald, her name is Kitty, she had a mild case of pneumonia, I was in charge of the first doses of meicine, it was TOO easy, she was such a sweetheart ^^ she's better now

*two of my teachers died :O Dr. G and Dr. T, the second one will be specially missed

*I'm in the middle of the second exam period x___x


I miss you all x___x specially a certain chango, wolf-rat, hyena-angel, unicorn, mare, cat, goat and all the bunch of animals that have kept me from being posesse by the drama llama, it's been lonely without you =<

but I'm doing this for the anima's sake x__x can't afford to make a stupid mistake, mexico has enough neglecting, lazy vets, don't want to be something like that becouse I didn't try hard enough.
I'm not being self-racist or anything xP I know some exellent vets with both brains an hearts, but I can't deny that some people here is .. ignorant to say the least when it comes to animals... I don't want to be one of them, the kind that takes the cheapest/easiest way out without caring for the animal's wellfare..... well... 2 out of 5 of my teachers are like that, so I've been having to teach myself more than a few things...
I'm ADD, so you can guess how har it is to learn something without a teacher I only hope I'm doing it rigth.

yes ladies and gentlemen, dogs and bitches, mares and stallions, bulls and cows, hens and roosters, does and bucks.... the ol' blues are back.

this time it's becouse my cousins left yesterday, they just went back home but the house is so quiet without them :< I'm feeling lonely the herd is divided once more.
but we'll see each other again in winter.

they're just light blues they'll go away in a day or two.

so this monday I went back to school, the schedules are HARD x__x the good thing is, these new teachers are not slavedrivers so I can do my learning in peace and I get a wee bit more of freee time, so I won't be as absent as before, I'll probably be able to come here once or twice a week =D

hohoho! I just went and bougth a lot of Cirque du Soleil DVDs xD there is no way I could have afforded them at a regular prize but they had a hughe juicy dicsount.

BTW! the Cirque is comming to my citty :D :D Dralion of all shows, just the mere tougth of it makes me want to buck like crazy!

this is at the end of the show, they take out those giant balls and start playing with the audience.

it's a Russian Clown show, but not the typical one, the acting, the music, the ligth and weather effects... it made me feel like a little filly again =) I'm not ashamed to say I drew a tear or two in amazement.
the acting was IMPRESSIVE! those guys are true professionals. Mr. Slava Polunin and his troupe of clowns has definetly found a permanent home in here:

I loved that show so much I can't put it in words, it's not as big or magnificent as the Cirque du Soleil but I loved it just as much, it's not something I will easilly forget and it's something that will remain part of me for as long as I live.

IN OTHER NEWS! I'm re-doing White Eye's reference sheet, mainly for 2 reasons:

my dog, Chirris is doing better than ever =D she began taking some joint supplements and it's as if she was 3 years old again xD, for all those who don't know her, she is an 11 year old Chihuahua lady, 4.4 lb (2kg), sable in color.

all is well eccept some girly health issues xP I'll be needing hormonal treatment for that... DON'T GOOGLE IT! NEVER trust the internet for medical info xP believe me I had to do a ton of paperwork this last semester and only 1 out o nearly 100 webpages had trustworthy information. most of the pages I've found were incomplete or exagetared xP most of them just want to make a scandal or to blackmail doctors or pharmaceutical companies... so don't google it xD I'm not having a sex change or anything, I've asked 3 doctors already and the treatment is safe.

I'm all out of things to write so I'll stop here xD

in the past weeks, two classmates got a nice little confirmed diagnosis of Hepatitis A.
one of them is in the hospital and another one can't even leave his bed x___x
3 more are suspected to have it... that's 5 out of a group of 50, heppie A is transmited by direct contact: either by sharing saliva or eating poop from the infected person.
BUT still, many of my teachers got scared so they "isolated" our whole classroom for a week.... that means we'renot going to school untill April 20 woot! now I have some time to catch up with things here =)

in other news... the sequel for the classic Disney movie "Tron" is OFFICIAL D: *paces nervously*
that's one of my favourites... oh man oh man.... I'm glad they finally took good ol' Tron out of the dustbin but... well... Disney is not exactly good at making sequels to classics...let's pray the Users this turns out well.

Got caugth in the middle of exams D:
I've been too busy... I'm going nuts mwehehehehehehe ...MY BRAIN JUST WENT CRAZY! it's too mcuh information! it's like trying to drink from a fire hose, so I need to focus a LOT for this x_____x that's why I haven't been drawing, I'll resume nex monday... hopefully.

Unknown forces of randomness tell my deep, instinctive core that it's time for a change... in all aspects.
Physical: today I begun a new exercise regimen that will increase my endurance AND hellp with my back problem, IT BURNS! but it DOES hellp I can really feel the difference on my back =)

Psichological: you may already know this but I'm a very nervous individual ^^; I'm afraid of many things... well time to change that! I don't want fear to be an obstacle anymore.
but to do that I'll need to be a bit hard on myself, I'll have to face things that scare me: like injections, next time we need to practice with that I'LL volunteer first, or driving, I'll drive to te supermarket, or fish! I'll try to get a pet fish.
as I said, it won't be easy and I'll be forcing myself to break my "safe zone"... please bear with me if I get dramatic or grumpy ^^; this is something I really need to do, I don't want to be so afraid anymore.

Attitude I'm too soft when it comes to handling animals :I and being soft is not allways what's best for them... "easy easy" and "it's allrigth buddy" are not enough, I need to learn to be firm, to say "stop!" or "that's enough!" not in a mean agressive way but in a firm and secure one.
I WON'T BE A ROUGH HANDLER! no violence or agression, but I NEED to be firmer, I realized I treat animas as if they were made out of glass ^^U
not anymore, don't want to change the way I feel about animals, but, for their sake I need to change he way I handle them.

Design I'll be re-desinging most of my characters, including White Eye.

an albino Budgerigar, I don't know if it's male or female ^^U becouse I'm not sure how to check and becouse it's a young bird...
found him/her lying besides a trashcan on a house near school, the house was empthy and there were cats nearby and he/she was too weak to fly, so I picked him/her up and took it home.
now he/she's much better =) his/her name is "Peckel"... if he's a boy it'll be "Mr. Peckel" and if she's a girl it'll be "Miss Peckel".
the only problem is: I don't have a proper cage to keep him/her in x___x I'm keeping him/her on a modified mouse cage untill I find a better home for him/her.

so here is what happened sicne last journal:

*I stuck my arm ellbow-deep on a Cow's butt x__x it wasn't as bad as I tougth it would be, the cow had a really sweet temper, she was completly calm, calmer than I was x___x we even took 2 blood samples and she reminded calm.

*I did my first necropsy x__x... 6 hourts of work... STRAIGTH, no bathroom breaks, no interruptions... and I didn't had any breakfast... my blood sugar dropped and I had to take a 5 minute break to grab a piece of chocolate,.. ooooh... it's really hard to eat after smelling the contents of a carnivore's intestines.... uuuurgh...


I WILL finish the requests/art trades I currently have but it will take a while.

it's been a really rough start on the semester x____x the schedule is tight and tiring AND I'll have to go on saturdays, too.

yup I'll be playing detective, they'll send us a corpse and we'll have to find out what the cause of death was... COOOOOL! :D
I'm allright with blood and stuff but what worries me is that we'll be using butcher's knives instead of scalpels x___x those things are HUGHE!
it makes sence, it would take all day to open up a large animal with a scalpel, but.. well... I've already had accidents with short, tiny scalpels... just wish me luck and let's hope I make it trough with all my limbs where they belong xD

the thing is I might nor be as active as I used to be >< art might not be as abundant as before, either.
BUT I'll replace quantity with quality, I'll be more carefull with detail, anatomy, etc.

... Veterinary medicine isn't easy or pretty, it's rough, tiring, stressing and dangerous...
but I would NEVER trade it for anythign else :) THIS is what I wans to do with my life.

I'm seriously thinking of buying one. either a tazer or pepper spray.

I don't want mommy to drive me to school and I can't drive all the way there myself, so the only option would be public transport.
we Mustangs aren't known for our bravery... we have been able to survive in the wild by being cautionous... and mexican subways aren't exactly safe....

2 of my 4 closest friends have already been robed, not by burly men with guns or bowie knives but by 15 year old human colts with a thumb-length razor and a demanding voice.
so if I am to walk alone by a subway I'd better bring something to defend myself with. half a million volts or an irritative spray should buy me enough time to run for the hills.

the only obstale are mom and dad xP they want me to walk ALONE on a subway, carrying my school bag, with nothing to defend myself with... their reason "they'll kill you if you fight" riiiiiight, a 15-year old kid will kill me with a thumb-length knife after being electrocuted by 500000 volts.... or just let them take my bag! oh no problem! they're honorable and won't hurt me whenthey see it's only books I'm carrying...</sarcasm>
obiously I won't go tazing a full grown man with a gun or a bigger knife, those are professionals, they know how to deal with mares carrying tazers... if it's money they want then let them take it...

but if it's not money they want or if it's just some amateur wanting to make easy money then a tazer or pepper spray would come in handy...
plus, in Mexico, being a MARE carrying a BAG, ALONE on a crowded subway equals a hughe, neon sign that reads: I'M HARMLESS! COME AND HURT ME!
and they will certainly will, I don't care what, I need to defend myself with something, guns and knives are out of the question... but a tazer or pepper spray should buy enough time.


as much as my parent´s attitude angers me, they migth have a good point and I know some of you know more about this kind of things than I do.

so here are my resolutions for this new year:

* cut the shyness! not that I'd like to become loud and peppy but I'd like to try things I usually won't due to shyness or fear, stuff like riding on a roller coaster or playing with a band.

*exercise! lots of it, last year's diseases really cut my physical condition xP I can't do things I could do before

stupid machine! *kicks it* I haven't been able to do ANYTHING in here x_____x
again, a lot of things happened:

* I CLEARED THE SEMESTER COMPLETLY! I didn't flunked ANYTHING :D not even one!!!! that's a first for me xD

* some family came over for the holydays, a couple of cousins and my auntie.
hehe Kat, Lanker, Joako and me... we're a herd of invincible beasties *mwahaha*
we're pretty tight, the kind of family bond you only share with very few.

* my iPod died *tear* the logic card isn't working... that means it only plays 5 or 6 songs, then thinks it ran out of batery and turns off. I tried charging it for 3 complete days... nothing x___x I got it checked by a pro and he said it would be cheaper to get a new one than to change the logic card xP right now we can't afford neither so guess I'll jusrt have to stick to my old CD payer.

*there is a road trip comming tomorrow :D I FREAKIN LOVE THOSE!!! WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!! *gallops and bucks crazylli*
an untamed skyline, smog-free air, an a seemingly endless praire... what else can a Mustang ask for? =) THAT feels like my tue home, not the citty.

yes the semester is over :D
the new medication hellped a lot, it made it easier to understand the whole course of phisiology, immunology and parasitology =D

it was hard, VERY hard x_____x there were lots of trouble, but it didn't kill me, so it made me stronger =) I've definetly learned a lot, the most important thing is: KILL YOUR EGO.
learning to forgive is the essence of love, you can't love if you can't forgive.

yup yesterday was my 4th birthday =)
mom and Kat really went overboard with presents I didn't deserve any *_* can't thank them enough.

then again mom is the one that should be celebrated, she didn't only carry me on her body for 9 months, she spent nearly all that time in bed... so it should be HER getting the presents =)

* dad is on a "vanity fit" all of a sudden he says me and my goaty sister are ugly xP just becouse we're not skelletal perfect-faced supermodels xP he made us go to a dermatologist... I HATE HIM D:< he is the kind of doctor that wold rip off ribs and spoil kidneys for beauty. he wants my sis to take a medicine for acne, he says: "it is magical! this young lady will have a perfect face" ... on her FUNERAL xP it is known that the side effects of that thing has SEVERE side effects, the proof is that before you actually buy it, you have to sign a paper where you rid the doctor of any responsiblity if the side effects cause permanent damage... oh sure, it would avoid scarring on the face BUT the liver will suffer, dad's pov: "well... you can't see the scars on the liver" xP he didn't used to be like that.... I hope it's just a temporary stage, I'm 100% sure he is not a bad man, but sometimes his ego is bigger than his brain.

* I'm EXTREMLY tired x______x school work has been heavy... ADHD medicine hellps a lot, but the workload is heavy enough to knock me down like a log.

*my birthday is comming D: I'll be 4..... ooooh I don't want to grow any older my brain still thinks I'm a yearling filly xD

*I had my first date not that long ago x___x it was pretty awkward... nothing intresting happened, we just stay friends.
I'm not known for being romantic xD even if I hug or groom a lot online I HATE it when people touch me outside a computer x____x makes me nervous...

* working on some pictures I owe to some people ^^U I'll probably finish them but I don't know when I'm going to be able to put them up O___o

Mei nearly died yesterday!!! D: she had the same simptoms as Bobby when he died (lethargic, very pale, cold, sunken stomach) the good news is: she recovered completly, thank God x_______x she endured it like a soldier, I kept her warm, gave her warm water and an almond mash and she made a fyll recovery.
now I know what killed Bobby and allmost killed Mei: the food. the rodent mix I bougth was contaminated ><
now the cause has been eliminated, Mei is very happy with her new diet, it's as if nothing had happened =)

I don't really feel stressed, emotionally I feel great =) but my body says so, and it's the one making the desitions now x_____x you see, I need it to stay alive so I'd better lisent if it tells me somehting's wrong ^^U
neckand shoulder pain, indigestion, loss of apetite and insomnia... we meet again >:D

a little silver and white red-eyed girl =) she is a bit scared now, but that's becouse she is new at my house =)

she will NEVER replace Bobby, of course... but having a new mouse around brigthens the atmosphere =)

I was thinking of "Berrie" but it sounds a lot like "Barry" XD or "Pippy" but dad started making nasty jokes about that name xP (he's on a "super macho" mood today, watning to prove he's better than all of us XD we're all girls at home, even the pets!)

I was taking it to reduce anxiety and it worked but I never realized that some stuff I called "sickness" on the past moths were actually side effects of paroxetine xP darn shrink


right now I'm taking a medication called Concerta... I LOVE IT! xD the side effects aren't that bad, it's not adictive and it hellps both with the anxiety and ADD... or ADHD.
so yeah XD things couldn't be better for this old mare =3
