Well, I wanted new ref sheets for all my chars for a while now. Akhlys git petiter, her wings got way smaller and I want to lighten her up. Klaue never had a proper ref sheet and since the ref pic he got more femboy-ish. And Xyri.. well I planned her as a representation of my dom side (as akhlys is sub and klaue medium) but the thing is.. I'm not feeling dom often so she gets no art. so I've been thinking in making her more petite (small body, medium-small breasts, long peen) or giving her a sister with those same characteristics
Anyway, I need a new set of ref sheets.

The problem with that is that sheets are expensive. Also, I feel like everything should be perfect on one, normal stuff I chose to overlook can't happen as the ref sheet is the model other artists will use.
now I recently found an artist that produces great art and is pretty cheap. Or rather,  mryia did and pointed me towards them. But that artist is russian and with only a rudimentary grasp of english. Enough for a normal pic, but for a ref sheet I think there may be issues. So I'd need someone that would be able and willing to translate my requests to russian.

btw, it's still some time until when I need it, because I decided to try this artist out beforehands with a normal pic ^^

Ever since I had Xyri, I came across so many ideas in my mind and so many ychs outside it that would have been perfect for a herm.. but not a domme like Xyri.

Now I can't, or rather won't, make Xyri more sub. The thing is this, all my 3 chars represent myself. Klaue is the middle, Akhlys represents my sub side and Xyri the top to make the 'holy trinity' complete. Everyone who's seen my gallery knows that I'm far more sub than dom, meaning Xyri gets really left out and I would like a more.. maybe not quite subby, but middle ground herm.
I've been thinking of giving Xyri a sort of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde-schtick with something more or less subtle, like the hue of her tattoo, showing if she's in sub mode or not, but that just won't work. it would destroy her whole raison d'être.

I could though make her a sister.. Pretty much the same looks as her, maybe a bit less big (less tall, smaller breasts, maybe smaller peen) and with an inverted or at least changed color sheme. She could be towards males and females as xyri is towards herm, a switch, the middle ground, sometimes top, sometimes bottom.
The problem with that is that she's be a shark as well, being pretty much the same as xyri, and sharks IMHO just don't lend themselfes to this type of character. A prey species would be nice, though not crucial, and I'd like a character with fur again, too few of mine do have it.
Maybe something normal like a canid, maybe something less often seen like a mouse or rat, maybe a rarity like an oppossum or so..
EDIT: Could also be a half-demon.. Like a succubus (but without wings, damn things always get in the way) but horns and fangs. I love fangs :3

I know someone with half the page views, a quarter of the time on FA, less comments given but already more comments got and that person gets like tens on their submisions, every one of them. I'm mad jelly. Are my chars that ugly?

I kinda work on and off on a note manager for FA and maybe other pages. would pretty much let you view them, sort them, search them, think of it like an email program (just that I don't plan to add functions to reply or making new notes at the moment)

Why do some artists try to pull a fast one on you?
I mean, it's OK if you think that pic would be quite difficult to do. It's OK if you'd like a bit more for that reason. But just fucking say so. Say "hey, that idea is mightly complicated, I'd have to ask for $xxx more than my regular price". Don't hide that by increasing prices of other stuff.
just now I had an artist that first tried to ask for half the cost of an additional character for a simple small ovum. I thought to myself "nah, I'm not paying that much for something that I can do by myself in gimp with google", so I aid without it, then. Next pricing asked for the full price of a character, more than 20% additionally to the pic, for an ultra-simple background consisting of mainly a shield on the wall. That would be hefty enough on it's own, but in the price sheet of the artist, only "detailed backgrounds" cost at all, so simple ones are supposed to be included, and I was smack dab in the middle of the price range of the detailed backgrounds.
I asked why it was so much, the answer was I should go search another artist.

I'm like 90% sure the artist tried to sleazily sneak in increased costs because he thought my idea was too complicated.
If he was just honest instead of trying to screw me over, say 5% background 15% muchworktax, I might have said nothing.

I've been thinking for a while now..
Wings always get in the way. I have to let go of half the interesting YCHs on grounds of wings alone because they would obstruct some action. I had to let go of countless commission ideas because the wings would get in the way. Save for some exceptions, all images, be it YCHs or commission ideas or anything, where the back of the character is in front or something is behind the character are impossible.
Therefore, I wanted to get rid of them. Now, Gargoyles have wings and I like gargoyles.
My main character, Klaue, alter ego and such, will stay as he is, I'm pretty content with him. After all, he went through a big redesign some time ago.
Akhlys, on the other hand, WILL lose her wings. But how exactly? She is still a gargoyle and gargoyles have wings, as said, so I'm planning to make it temporary - as another version of the char, so to speak, interchangeable. The winged version will not perish but stay as the normal version, the wingless version a mere extra.
Now, how should I go about this? I'm still searching for a reason for her to lose the wings in a repeatable but reverseable fashion. I could use some sort of potion, bu while gargoyles are mystical in most lore, in my world, they're pretty much just another normal species, my world is more SciFi than fantasy. Sure, Star Trek told us that you can put every magic into technobabble to make it scifi, but I'm still unsure.
At the end, I'm planning for a comic or single page of the transformation by whatever it is, like this but in reverse, just for the wings. I'm still looking for a cause, if you have any idea.
Wingless!Akhlys should have some subtle way of telling that she is wingless but the same char, something the transformation adds. For one thing, she would have two vertical markings on her back where the wings once attached, but I'd like something visible from the front too. The reason is that I would not like people to think that I just forgot about the wings, and also for consistency. May be stupid, but I want it anyway.
I thought about changing the color of her marking slightly, but I fear this would be too much of a change, I don't want anyone to thing it was a differet character, a twin sister or something..

You see, all my chars are, to some extent, alter egos. Klaue is the general alter ego, he's me, just with some things extra. Akhlys is the alter ego of my sub side, and because that one's stronger, there's lots of art for her. I've been thinking about making her the main one actually, but that just for a side note. Szylla, as a big proportioned herm, was supposed to represent the other side, an alter ego for my dom side, dominating everyone and everything, always being the top, always being the one to use the others instead of the other way around. In my head, herms were always at the top, the superior gender, the ones to rule (by fucking ;)) the others. Therefore, if she ever submitted to anyone, it would be to another herm. I actually like small breasts and dislike overly hyper members, but with herms, that kinda.. is included with the package. With herms, they can have huge assets and I still find it hot, they're kinda overly sexual in nature, so Szylla has big tits and an enormous cock. But I digress,
I noticed.. in most ideas I've had, I always was the sub side, so I'd use Akhlys or Klaue, except when paired with my own chars. In some violent dark fantasies I'm not, but then again, I don't think I should commission those. Also, I noticed plenty of Herm pics paired with males where the herm maybe did nor assume a sub role but a bottom one for sure and they were hot as well. Why would a char have a pussy if not to use it, anyway?
So I've been thinking of maybe not making her always-on-top but merely mostly-on-top, maybe never sub, but at least sometimes bottom to a male or "at the same level" to a female (in that case, maybe top still, but more in a loving way). Maybe, just maybe, if she's chained up, even a sub, raped by a strong male, abused, knocked up.. *rrr*
What are your thoughts? Are herms supposed to be above other genders, below or somewhere in between?

The problem is, that would make her less of an "alter ego for the top side". Akhlys is always bottom, is the biggest slut there is, will gladly let anyone fuck her raw, is virtually un-rapeable because she would be into it anyway, no matter who or what creature had a go at her, and that is how she's intended to be, because she's a representation of my sub side, which is strong (I'm of no worth after all). But if Szylla is not the opposite, always on top, the rapist instead of the rapee etc.. is she still an alter ego? Is she just a normal char? I don't know.
Maybe I shouldn't care, that strange tri-fold alter ego is something I've never seen anywhere, but I still wonder.

Ein Text, den ich vor Jahren schrieb, aber noch immer gleich gültig ist wie damals. Ich bin fast sowas wie stolz auf ihn, darum "rette" ich ihn hierhin rüber..

Alleinsein und Einsamkeit werden in unserer heutigen Zeit oftmals gleichgestellt. Doch sind sie das auch?
Was ist Alleinsein? Alleinsein ist, wenn man ohne Menschen in seiner Umgebung ist. So gut wie jeder Mensch ist tagtäglich für gewisse Zeit allein, so gut wie jeder Mensch ist tagtäglich auch nicht allein. Alleinsein ist physisches, körperliches Alleinsein, es ist ein harmloses Alleinsein, nichts als ein Status des Körpers.
Alleinsein bedrückt die Menschen gemeinhin nicht. Manche Menschen mögen es nicht, versuchen es zu verhindern, andere mögen es, aber grundsätzlich ist Alleinsein zahnlos, es besitzt keinen Schrecken, es kann niemandem schaden.
Einsamkeit auf der anderen Seite ist nicht gleich Alleinsein. Einsamkeit ist eine besondere Art von Alleinsein, ein seelisches, mentales Alleinsein. Einsamkeit und Alleinsein decken sich nicht zwingend, man kann inmitten von Menschenmassen einsam sein und man kann auch nicht einsam und dennoch allein sein. Einsamkeit ist destruktiv, es zerstört. Einsamkeit ist für den Menschen das, was Rost für einen Metallkörper ist, es zerfrisst ihn, löst ihn auf, vernichtet ihn. Kaum ein Gefühl ist auf lange Zeit gesehen so gefährlich und zerstörerisch wie die Einsamkeit. Sie ist die Lepra der Seele.
Manche Menschen denken, dass sie nach Einsamkeit suchen, doch nach was es ihnen wirklich verlangt ist das Alleinsein. Kein Mensch, der die Einsamkeit in einem positiven Lichte zeigt, hat begriffen, was sie bedeutet, hat sie wahrlich erlebt, er verwechselt sie mit dem Alleinsein, so wie eine giftige Natter mit einer Blindschleiche verwechselt werden könnte. Sicherlich, die Einsamkeit hat positive Nebenerscheinungen, doch das ist, wie wenn man sagen würde, dass der Krieg diese hat, sie sind unbedeutend im grossen ganzen.

Es gibt zwei Arten von Menschen, die Extroverten und die Introverten (und diverse Stufen dazwischen). Diese Bezeichnungen beziehen sich hauptsächlich auf die Einstellung des Menschen auf das Alleinsein. Extroverte hassen das Alleinsein, sie suchen, sich mit so vielen Menschen wie möglich zu umgeben. Introverte auf der anderen Seite blühen im Alleinsein auf, sie lieben es, Zeit mit nur sich allein zu verbringen. Im Umkehrschluss hassen sie aber auch das Nicht-Alleinsein, sie meiden Menschenmengen, sie versuchen sich grossen Ansammlungen zu entziehen.
Dadurch, dass die meisten Menschen Extrovert sind, hat sich der Gesellschaft das Gefühl aufgezwungen, dass Introvertiertheit etwas Schlechtes oder zumindest etwas Seltsames sei. Bezeichnungen für sie wurden zu Beleidigungen umgemünzt - wer denkt heute beim Begriff "asozial" an einen Menschen, der es schlicht nicht mag, in einem Meer von Leibern zu versinken und nicht an jemanden, der tut, was er kann, um das Wohlsein anderer zu stören? Dies ist keine neue Entwicklung, selbst Aristoteles sagte, dass derjenige, der von Natur und nicht durch zufällige Umstände ausserhalb der Gesellschaft lebte, entweder ein Tier oder ein Gott sei.
Nun sollte man denken, dass ein Introvertierter gegen die Einsamkeit gefeit sei, dass nur Extroverte davon betroffen werden können. In der Realität sieht das eher gegensätzlich aus. Beide Arten von Menschen können von Einsamkeit befallen werden, denn wie schon dargelegt gibt es keinen direkten Zusammenhang zwischen Einsamkeit und Alleinsein, die Präferenz für letzteres hilft gegen ersteres keineswegs. Bei beiden kann sich die Einsamkeit zu einem Teufelskreis auswachsen. Einer der grössten Gründe für diesen Zirkel ist das Selbstvertrauen, oder besser gesagt das Fehlen davon. Je länger jemand alleine ist, desto mehr schwindet dieses. Dies merkt der Einsame, doch das Wissen darum verstärkt es nur, wodurch er noch weniger Chancen hat, wodurch es sich wiederum noch mehr verstärkt und immer so weiter. Für einen Extrovert besteht hingegen eine gute Chance, aus dem Kreis auszubrechen, die für einen Introvertierten wenig bis gar nicht besteht.
Introverte werden, wie schon dargelegt, üblicherweise gemieden, sei das bewusst oder unbewusst. So gut wie niemand aus extrovertierten Kreisen will seine Zeit an jemanden verschwenden, der nie Willens ist, zu sogenannten "sozialen Anlässen" zu erscheinen.
Gleichzeitig kann der Introvertierte keine neuen Bekanntschaften aufbauen, da er sich an den Orten, die für ebendieses gedacht sind, nicht entfalten kann. Er fühlt sich in überfüllten Bars mit lauter Musik nicht ausgelassen und fröhlich wie es die Extroverten tun, nein, im Gegenteil, er fühlt sich eingeengt, beinahe klaustrophobisch. Eventuelle extroverte Leser dieses Textes können es sich eventuell so vorstellen, als würden ihnen von allen Seiten Unbekannte in die Ohren Brüllen. Es ist ein unangenehmes, beängstigendes Gefühl, ein Gefühl, das den Wunsch aufkommen lässt, so bald als möglich zu verschwinden. Unter solchen mentalen Eindrücken ist es so gut wie unmöglich, Kontakte zu schliessen.
Zusammenfassend ist also zu sagen, dass der Introverte sowohl gemieden wird, als auch selber solche Orte meidet und selbst wenn er sich dazu bewegen kann, an einen solchen Ort zu gehen, ist es ein fruchtloses Unterfangen.
Man sagt, der Mensch sei wie eine Insel. Der einsame Mensch ist eine verdorrende, lebensfeindliche Insel voller Asche und Staub, ein Hort des seelischen Todes, eine Kultstätte der Verzweiflung. Je weiter die Zeit voranschreitet, desto mehr schwindet das Leben, desto weniger kann neues Leben Fuss fassen. Doch die extroverte Insel ist Teil eines Archipels, unter Umständen gar eines Atolls. Sie hat Inseln um sich, die vor Leben pulsieren, die dieses Leben an sie weitergeben kann. Eine introverte Insel jedoch ist eine schwimmende Insel inmitten eines Ozeans. Kein Samen des Lebens wird sie je erreichen, es sei denn durch enormen Zufall, und mit jeder vergehenden Sekunde treibt sie weiter von allem anderen Weg, bis schliesslich, irgendwo im endlosen Meer der Verzweiflung, der Letzte funken des Lebens erlischt und sie in den Fluten untergeht.

Ich wage zu behaupten, dass kaum ein Extrovertierter je kennengelernt hat, was echte, lang anhaltende Einsamkeit ist, ja, gemeinhin vergiessen sie schon Tränen, nur weil sie ihren Partner eine Woche nicht sehen können und nennen das „Einsamkeit“. "Einsamkeit" trotz Beziehung, "Einsamkeit" trotz lieben und geliebt werden, ein blanker Hohn, ein spucken in's Gesicht eines Jeden, der schon das zweifelhafte Vergnügen hatten, echte Einsamkeit zu erdulden.
