Welp, its official, will be moving to the Riverside area in a month. Since last time I moved unexpected monkey wrenches ended up throwing about 3k worth of extra expenses on me, and maybe I'm just generally thirsty today, I figured out why not take on a challenge. So I'm going to try and do a pinup every day for all of May.

Working on my badge for FC, since I mostly have comic books and some stickers to work on, I'd like to take on some different projects, as to not get bored.

So, since I usually work on badges for cons, I'm going to be taking requests for badges. I'll mail them out as I finish them, or if you're going to be at FC, I'll deliver them at the con in person.

So, for the first time in a very long time, I decided that I wanted a Christmas tree. So we went down to the closest lot, and damn! They are 60-70 dollars!

Apparently, the recent fires in California have created a shortage. I never even thought about it.

So, now I'm thinking of just getting a palm tree, and putting lights on that.

Normally I don't post here about whats going on in my life, I try to keep that a bit secret and usually post only on facebook. Though at this point, I think that I haven't posted much on Facebook either.

Recently came up on a bit of trouble, where I am applying for a position where they need to do a background check, and a credit check. I'm pretty much emptying the bank in order to clear my credit and pay any outstanding debts, but I am a bit short. By the time I am done, the only thing left, will hopefully be my student loans, that I have no realistic hope of clearing out unless I literally win the lottery (they are a little over $200K).

To have a shot at this, it all needs to be cleared, and I am short about $1,200.00 (give or take).

I had already considered that if I get this job, I won't be able to dedicate time to art nearly as much as I am doing now. So I figured that this may be a good way to kill two birds with one stone.

I'm hoping to find three people who would be interested in working on three comic book projects. The would be similar to the ones I have been working on, Temptation and Letterman. B&W (or monochrome), 1-5 characters, about 10-12 pages, for $400 each. To make the deal sweeter, I'm going to throw in a set of 10 Telegram stickers (due before Xmas), or 3 extra pages added to the comic. Once the comic book is completed, I'll mail you the real media pages.

You'll have to keep in mind that these are going to be long-term projects, a minimum of 6 months turnaround. But I've been told by those guys who have commissioned me for them that it's worth it.

I will continue to draw Perception and Century, since those are my own comics, but I will not be taking on any more comic book commissions after these last three. The goal is going to be to finish up the ones I have (Real Wrestling, Temptation, Letterman, The Game), and then these three. Honestly, if it works out with this new position, I probably won't have much time to do anything else but that anyways.

Man, this was a long post. If you made it all the way through, thanks for taking the time. Hope to find some interested parties, and some interesting story ideas.

Since when has the drama at furry cons escalated so much?

Man, I've been hearing stories from MWFF, and I wonder what goes through people's mind that they would spend money to go out to a con and try to ruin people's good time?

If that's not a call for attention, I really don't know what is.

Hope that regardless of the drama (and idiots) you guys managed to have fun out there.

Little update on my comic book work:

Perception is up to page 135, and I've been working on it backwards, so the end of this volume is already done, just have to work in the middle to join them up. The story is coming along nicely, and I am definitely falling in love with some of the characters. Since they are based loosely off some people I know, it's no surprise, really.

Real Wrestling is on chapter 2, which is coming to an end in 3 weeks. And is scheduled to go to print with Furplanet!! Isn't that exciting!? Slowly those characters have definitely grown on me too. I guess it's the nature of the beast.

Century is slowly coming along, but I haven't picked up a good way to take it into, so it's in the back burner for the moment.

Letterman is all penciled, and most pages have some ink on them. Chances are that it will keep posting a page per week and will be done by the first week of January.

Temptation, Vol. 3 is still being penciled, so we probably won't be seeing the first page until January.

I will be announcing one new one that I am working with Raz, titled "The Game" for which I hope to start posting mid December, or late December as Letterman is set to end.

The pages for all of these are posted up on Patreon ( www.Patreon.com/Arthur_Husky ) and I still have to think of a way to consolidate all of these in a library. Will have to ponder this.

There is one last comic I have set, but that script hasn't been finished, so it's on hold.

I had one other comic book project in the works, but that dropped out, so nothing is coming out of that.

And in between, there are a couple of other projects here and there that I am working on. It has been quite refreshing to be kept busy, and man, some of these comics have definitely been a blast to work on. Hope that I get some other really fun projects in the future to work on.

Just registered for the FC art show. I absolutely love doing the art shows. The hard part is going to be figuring out what I want to take to the show. Have to come up with some fun stuff. The theme of the con is Fantastic Beasts, and I'm torn between going with that theme, or doing something else. What do you guys thing? Theme, or no theme?

Also, I normally do badges for this con, and I hand them out at the con. Usually I do them last minute, but maybe doing them a couple of months in advance may be a good change.

Again, wanna try something new, so I'm going to open 3 spots for badges, $25 each, laminated.
