Im tiered of second life, all i do is wonder around 80% of the time alone, staying up late for nothing at all. but the sad truth is its my only social outlet, if i didnt play SL, well id have virtually no human contact. Ive tried various other things like joining communitys RL and online but both has minimal results.

What im looking for is to put together or join a group of people to do shit online like talk on skype, draw in oC, play games on steam and even colaberate to make stupid funny shit, i am an animator after all. Does this sound good to anyone?

We currently live in a world where the current My little Pony is better than Looney tunes and thundercats, what the fuck went wrong here?

This is something thats been bothering me for the longest time, something i can never truely analyse from a non-biest prospective, and that thing is myself. I know this may turn out to be whiney or self loathing but its something thats been bothering me for too long and i need to vent this out into words one way or another.

I find it hard to find other people like myself, whether it be a Nintendo core gamer or someone who shares vitiligo, at the end of the day i always feel like the odd one out in any room and alone in any crowd. Is it just me? I can't blame myself for behing physically different or having different tastes to others, but should that really stop me from being social? The only real difference between me and other people that ive found to really make any difference is the fact i don't drink and there for do not enjoy "going out for a drink" with others getting inevitably drunk, but ofcourse this is a once and a while thing so surely i should be fine around others outside these times, but apparently im not.

Ofcourse i can't blame it all on reasons and excuses, it is me too for sure! I cant call myself social, even though i want to be, i often find myself detached from most convosations mostly because i cant apply my mind to them, i find it difficult to bond with people and cant truely care what they have to say nor am i the kind to atleast pretend. I think of myself as a lonely genius when im just an intollerent ass. But let i see people of all sorts, geekier than me, uglier than me, less tollerent than me, all having active social lives and i cant help but wonder what am i doing, am i too nerdy for the cool kids but too cool for the nerds?

I spose the point of this rare journal is a desperate plee to find others who know how i feel, or better yet find others who may even like what i like or every better again! someone who shares Vitiligo, its a strange thing to want i know but ive never had a friend who shares it and though its never effected my life much, it still makes me lonely.

I consider myself a bead sprite veteran :P being someone who "did it before it was cool", loads of people do it these days. I havnt made them in a long time but gonna get back into them, but also wont really be able to keep them since im going away soon. so was wondering.

Sooo I'm back in Uni now doing my final year in Animation, its great seeing my friends again, but this year feels different. Although it's the same people and concept ahead, there is a presents of seriousness lerking the light boxes. This being the final year, this is pretty much what we've been building up to for the last handful of years of our lifes and its time to step up the game.

The more i draw furry stuff, the more i hate my style, and although i kept myself busy with my time off, i feel extreamly out of practise and really want to make my skills better. At the moment I'm just studying Preston Blair designs and sketches from his animation books, which is helping a hell of alot, drawing (or trying to) in someone else's style down to the construction really helps you notice where to improve your own work. If anyone has a suggestion of ways and things i should study, even if its just the name of a good animator, let me know.

And when I'm not drawing im gaming so just to quickly say, get the new Monkey Islands for wii or off steam, their great fun! aaannnddd get Worms when that comes out on Wiiware, gonna rock! :3

so yeah im making an animated short atm in uni and need a music composer to make a cheery little soundtrack for its going good, but i have a lack of a sound track to go with it. if anyone is interested send a reply or better yet a note so we can start talking and help eachother out. i beleave the final animation would be about 90 seconds long so its not overly demanding.

Obviously you'd be Credited, and with luck the animation, if chosen, will be played at a little event for the Uni where we get people from industry come in and judge our work, your music would be played infront of an audience and is a good way to get your name out there. but otherwise it may just be fun to create a soundtrack relative to the actions on screen.

For those who dont already know, in reality im a 2D animation student, and the only reason you not seen my animations on here, is because till this point i been pencil based, which can at times be a long painful process which is usually consumed by uniwork so i havnt really had to spend making more personal projects. as of this week, i am being taught to use flash, and im taking to it like a fish to water :D In time, expect to see some quirky random little flash animations appering on my FA, which will hopefully lead to something with more of a story :3

1) What was your FIRST video game console?
Well the earliest i can remember, there was a NES in my house which was hand-me-downed to me eventually. but the first console that was MINE and rightfully mine from the day it was unboxed, was an N64. But im gonna stick with NES as my answer.

2) Name a few games you played on said console.
YOSHI'S COOKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats my wasted childhood in a title :3 and even after all the carboots, breaks, and console cremations (dont ask) i still have the same cart ive always had sense i was a kid :3

3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
all 6 Nintendos, ps2 used for 1 game and a megadrive in the attic which i wanna sell.

4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
I was never really that into street fighter really... i mean, i reconise it as THE name for fighters but, i dunno... i dont not like it or anything.....

5) Do you think Capcom is a FUCKING awesome company with kickass character designs?
Resident Evil rocks my world, pheonix right is amazing and hell, their history is rich with classics, CAPCOM are made of win.

I'm not an RPG kinda gamer... but Pheonix Wright is definatly my fave, followed by Paper Mario series.

No but i was once bargening on ebay for a Raccoon city police department outfit but was still too expensive in the end.

this is gonna be hard as i tend to enjoy games as they are so dont hold me to these as i dont 100% care if their remade or not:
Zelda orcarina of time, because i keep hearing its amazing, probably is, but the graphics need sorting to make it abit more inviting to todays standards.
Duck Tails, the NES game remade in good 3D, could you imagin :P
Pokemon. its time to stop fucking around with the same game we've already played in like 20 different coloured versions, go stationary console and make it interesting! no colluseum crap.

Mario, hes been the most consistant, sonic died a long time ago for me, around the time the saturn came out.

Last movie title game i got was Reign of Fire for gamecube, its soso... follows its own relating story and not just what you already watched. However Enter the Matrix is fucking aweful. I dunno, it all depends on the movie i supose, like, no, i wouldnt by a spiderman game based on the movie, but i would love a licensed Dogma or jay and silent bob strick back game :D

18) What is your LEAST favorite genre of video games? (ex. fighting, sports, shooters, etc.)
Sports games.... the logic of a virtual football compaired to walking outside and just playing real football just fails me.

Assuming you mean the up comming one, i think its gonna be kinda boring, i find street fighter dosnt really have a desent story behind the characters, only that its really about beating the game or who your playing.

umm i say it some times but not alot, i think i say "when games were good" more.

one. Harvey Birdman for the Wii :3 never released in the UK and i was really looking forward to it. my guess is the other adult swim game by ATHF didnt sell well so they didnt bother releasing it here as hardly anyone knows what those series are. btw that ATHF game, i bought it for £3 in HMV, it was THAT unpopular.

i havnt cryed when i beaten a game, but i raged at Okami for how shit the ending was. But crying, i have cryed in a game, just not the end. I cryed in Pheonix Wright when you find out (or think rather) that the young girl was the cause of the murder, capcom did that part so well, all music stops.... everyones expressions sink.... gently fading into white and back out to switch veiws between character's expressions..... *tearing up* i remember going "no... no no no...." as i was playing it *sniff*

Yay christmas holidays :D some much needed time off Uni is comming my way :3 i got my selections of games to play in my spare time ready and hopefully see my friends a few times this week before they dissapper for a few weeks back where their parants live.

Man Uni has been tough this term.... done so much animating and work its stupid x.x im still animating right now (being distracted by internets) but im sure i'll get it done before the hand in date before monday, may even upload the final outcome to FA since its anthro.

Anywho just letting you all know im alive and well :3 just very busy x.x

btw, those games i mentioned, are Reign of Fire for gamecube, Zelda Orcarina of time for N64, on a gamecube disk, which im gonna play on Wii XP, new Strongbad ep (4), and Sam and Max Season 1 for wii.

For a little while, i been going non-fur, last few months i gave it all a break and hung up the tail and just concentrated on uniwork and real life. I was finding myself getting incressinly angry and was seeing nothing but negitive..ness... about the fandom. In that time, i've had time to think things over, look at the world from different veiws.

Earlier this year i was on a bus on the way to a friends house, when i was overhearing some nerds at the front of the bus talking about red vs blue, saying crap like "lol" and stuff in real life, and i couldnt help but think they were talking like furrys.

But thats when i realised... at the end of the day, furs are still people, and under the fluff are humans who can be just as awesome or as assholeish as the rest of the world. Even after i "left" i still talked to a select couple who are awesome people furs or not. but it was when i was comming across art i like, and how fun it feels to say stuff like "wags" or "nuzzle" online, that made me realise i miss being a fur... its something i like to do.... and i shouldnt let other people's take on it ruin it for myself. So, here i am, lead back by good friends and awesome artists :3

You should do what you enjoy in life, not let the odd asswhip spoil it for you, but ultimatly, don't take the furdom too seriously, i made that mistake, it should be fun, we're all here to have fun, so lets do it already! :3
