HE'S FUCKING PURPLE. seriously. how many purple lions do you know? i doubt it's more than like, maybe 3. it's a genetic thing. very rare and recessive trait.
he also usually has a pretty prominent set of shark teeth, though he can control the extent to which he channels shark mode, going between just lion and full on sharklion mode with a dorsal fin and tail and all.

leon was raised in an orphanage run by a bunch of crazy cat nuns. Their religion was i guess something similar to some kind of catholic/wiccan hybrid. he didn't really have a sad childhood, just a lonely one. for reasons he wouldn't understand until much later in his life, he wasn't up or adoption like the other orphans, so while they would come and go, he had more of a relationship with the sisters than they would, though not really a parental one. still, they were supportive, and he always knew they were there for him.
he still visits them once in a while and helps with some chores and gets into arguments about their kooky religion. goddamn crazy cats. >:|

brought up an excellent point about the SSCA's controversial methods. i still support what they do, but i realize that not everyone does, and i'm not trying to turn anything into a debate on the matter. i'm still gonna be donating 20% of the profits from the shark commissions to a marine wildlife conservation group, but i'll go with one that's less objectionable once i find one.in other news, one more week til i'm off for my 55 hour train ride to arkansas, so once i post a sample or two i'll be opening up for badge comissions to give me something to do on the trip. :3

Posted 14 years agoSome of them are real assholes. Not saying all or even most, but some of them really have no business dealing with other human beings, let alone teaching.
Example 1: I was translating for a parent yesterday and the way the teacher talked down to the parent just made me want to slap that unbelievable bitch. Education is important. Parental involvement is important in kids lives, not just for their education, but for their overall development, I get that better than a lot of people here. But how the fuck are you gonna treat this person like she's some horribly negligent, irresponsible parent because she CAN'T TAKE TIME OFF FROM WORK WHENEVER THE FUCK SHE WANTS. Do you really lack the perspective to realize that some people actually HAVE to work in order to keep their familes fed, clothed, and indoors? Did you really just accuse this woman of NOT THINKING HER CHILD IS IMPORTANT because leaving work at the drop of a hat isn't an option? Never mind the fact that she's there now, stressing because she has to rush back to work immediately after the meeting, because this is the FIRST TIME SHE'S RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE SCHOOL. And then you're gonna tell her that's not the school's responsibility?
Hold up... A student's academic success, and intervening when it's clear that something is standing in the way of that success, is not the school's responsibility? BITCH WHAT THE FUCK 3E YOU SMOKING THAT'S THE SCHOOL'S ONLY FUCKING RESPONSIBILITY.
Example 2 is shorter, but fresher. On monday, the teacher tells the class they can have a pizza party at lunch today, and everyone needs to chip in $2 for pizza, and KEEPS A ROSTER OF WHO HAS PAID. Today, not monday, not yesterday, but TODAY, she informs the class that if they haven't completed that week's assignment they can't attend the party. Adding a condition after the fact is fucked up enough as it is, but this bitch has the nerve to refuse to give students who didn't complete the assignment their money back if they don't get it done by the end of the class. She says "no refunds on donations." Bitch, it's not a fucking donation, it's payment. And if you're denying them access to the thing they paid for, based on a condition you added after they paid, you're STEALING MONEY FROM STUDENTS. If it weren't for the fact that the girl that wanted her money back didn't call her bluff and just finished the assignment...
