February 2014
Posted 11 years agoThis month has been very busy for me. Doing a lot of work on my house lately. Remodeling my kitchen and re-leveling my house. I have also been finishing building a new deck for a hot tub that also needs lots of work. Also, doing electrical work for clients on the side. I can't wait to be finished working on my house and get back to working on my new toony fox fursuit!
Kivulli is moving into my house soon. it will be nice to have him as a roommate.
I am looking forward to BLFC coming up. I am already putting together my 80's theme swag. I am helping out as staff for BLFC again this year on the AV crew. I look forward to seeing those of you who are attending!
This is all for now. Take care!

Rainfurrest 2013
Posted 12 years agoSup?! It's been awhile since I have posted a journal here. I will be attending Rainfurrest again this year for the second time. I had a blast last year! I am flying up to Seattle this next Tuesday evening with Saigon and staying through Tuesday, Oct. 1. I am hoping to get a group together to go sight seeing in downtown Seattle on Sunday, Sept. 30th.
I will be staying with Rubber Asylum, Anji Kun, Kuuzie, Voy, and Niko in Renton, WA.
Now that my back is better, I will be entering in the dance comp. for the first time since FC 2011. I am sooo stoked! I will be doing freestyle!
I hope to see and hang with long known faces as well as new ones.

My Life Lately
Posted 12 years agoAs of lately, I am looking for work. Now that my back is basically healed, I can work now. I am hoping to land the entry level service advisor position at BMW of San Francisco. It would be a dream job because if I later became a full time service advisor, I can make as much as $80K a year! I had a phone interview a week ago Friday. There are six people applying for only one position. I would also have weekends off which would be ideal for attending cons! I am waiting to hear the final word if I received the position. I hope I get it! I am also waiting to hear about other jobs.
Besides looking for work, I have been busy working on my house. Carpentry, painting, stucco work etc.
In a nutshell, this is what I am doing. Thanks for reading! Take care!

December 2012
Posted 13 years agoThis maybe my last journal if Friday turns out to indeed be Dooms Day (apocalypse)! LOL Most likely not.
I have been busy writing my new novel, Fox Control, fursuit alterations on Saigon's fursuit, making repairs on my first fursuit I made, "Leothelion", and on my new toony fox fursuit.
My back is doing a lot better and I am actually starting to grow bone where the fusion was done back on Oct. 15 which is excellent news!!!
I have been busy advertising my 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z/Z28 for sale as well.
I just set up my family's Christmas tree yesterday. Added lights and ornaments to it. I also hung up the Christmas socks and other decorations.
Just a little update for those of you out there who are wondering what I am up to lately. Take care!

Thanksgiving2012
Posted 13 years agoHappy Thanksgiving to my fellow American fuzzies!
I am doing better now that I had back surgery five weeks ago. I now have a fused disc, four titanium rods, and four titanium screws in my left lower back (L4 & 5). My second back surgery and hopefully last! My toes on my left foot are no longer numb, thankfully! They had been numb since last Jan. Although, I do still have some numbness on the bridge of my left foot sometimes and some moderate pain which is to be expected. I can't bend, twist, lift over 10 lbs., or lift over my shoulders until Jan. 15. Doctors say that I can go back to dancing after Jan. 15 for FC, but I am not going to push it. I need the fused disc to heal well. I sooo love dancing and really want to enter the FC dance competition since I have not done it since FC2011, but I will wait to do it at other cons next year. And yes, I will be at FC again! I look forward to seeing you if you will be there!
Other news: I have been writing my new furry novel, Fox Control. It is a science fiction, romantic novel. I hope to have it finished by next spring. Krahnos, my good friend, will do the artwork for it. I hope to get Sofa Wolf Press to publish it. It will be approx. 350 pages. I will keep you updated on its progress!
Fursuit commissions are on hold until after FC due to the fact that I cannot lean over the table to measure and such.
Take care!

Recent Music Video I was In & Latest News
Posted 13 years agoThis is the link to a music video I was in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp8piKBlNao
I was the protagonist in this furry version of "Payphone" by Maroon 5. I suggest that you watch the real Maroon 5 version first on YouTube and then compare it to this. Tell me what you think! My good friend, AP, directed, filmed, and produced it. We will be making another music video at the next FC for all those interested!
I got the job with Transamerica!!! I am now in training to be a financial advisor. I can't wait to start making some $$$!
In other news, I finally saw a real back surgeon. The news is not the greatest on my back situation. The doctor (back surgeon) gave me two options: fuse the degenerated (bulging) disc to my vertebrae. Not the way to go in my opinion. It would cause harm to the upper and lower disc(s) meaning that I would need surgery on those in 5-10 years. The other option is to take out the degenerated (bulging) disc and replace it with a synthetic disc. Only issue with is it may cause male performance issues because they have to go through my stomach to cut out the bad disc out and put in the artificial (synthetic) disc. The doctor (back surgeon) recommended in the mean time to have a epidermal cortisone injection done with a x-ray machine. I think I will try this for now. I need to find out if my county insurance will cover the expense of installing a synthetic disc in my lower back. Thanks for listening! I hope that you enjoy the video!!!

What Ima Doin'
Posted 13 years agoI am getting ready to sell my 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z/Z28 after 13 years of owning it and over $50K invested in it. I need a car that is more reliable and gets better gas mileage. I am looking at buying a 2003-03 Lexus IS300 manual trans. if I can find it!
My good friend, Groggy, helped me convert my AC last week from R12 to R134a freon and fix all of the leaks in the system with a dye in the freon that is detected by a black light. Today, I taped off and sanded down the rear window trim, primed, and painted it with black trim paint. This week, I am having a new headliner installed, installing a new driver's seat belt, and new rear window tint. Then all that is left to do is bleed the breaks and change the rear end fluid. Then, I will put the car up for sale!
I have an interview with Trans America on Wednesday for a financial adviser position. I recently applied to Snap On to work on a truck down in San Jose. My fur bud's dad works for corporate. I am using him as a referral. I'd rather work for Snap On because they are a great company and they pay well! I was going for a electrical license but, you have to be a math wiz to pass their written exam for the electrical apprenticeship program which I am not. I wish that so many jobs did not require the excellent skill of algebra, geometry, etc. I haven't taken it since high school. How am I supposed to remember all those equations and formulas from 16 years ago?! I really do hope that I get the job with Snap On! Pray for me please if you pray! Take care friends!
P.S. I need to have someone take a picture of me in my fursuit sitting in my Camaro with the t-tops off before I sell it and post the pics on here!!! :D

Not Attending AC2012
Posted 13 years agoUnfortunately, I will not b e atrending AC. My friend, Sarge, who was kind enough to pay for my flight and room for AC was laid off from his job this past Monday after 20 years of service. No notice at all. I have been doing fursuit work for him in exchange for the trip. Have fun for me for those that are attending AC!
March 2012 Journal
Posted 13 years agoThe latest news on me is that I may have the bulging disc removed from my back and replaced with a synthetic disc. This means that I will be part cyborg or animatronics! XD
I am not sure when the surgery will be. I am waiting to see a second back surgeon since the county's back surgeon I saw a few weeks ago is retired and I didn't like his judgement. He wanted me to have two more cortizone injections and to do 75 situps in the morning and 250 everyday! Then, see him in two months to see how I felt then. Crazy, huh? That's what a few of my friends who are doctors also thought. I did it one day and it almost killed me.
I maybe going to Califur as long as the surgery does not coincide with it. I hope not! I want to stop in the fashion district while I am in L.A. and pick up the fur for the new toony fox I want to build.
Other news, I just picked up Halo Anniversary and it is a ton of fun so far! Take care friends!

Discharged from Hospital Today
Posted 13 years agoI was discharged from the hospital today at 3 pm. I had a epidurmal cortizone injection yesterday. I can now walk again until the back surgury. I need to schedule the surgury tomorrow. I need to have my insurance company put in writing that they will cover all medical expenses like they said. I am still in pain and my entire left foot is numb.
Now Living At the Hospital
Posted 14 years agoI am glad that I was able to see most of you guys at FC. I wish we could have spent more time together and spent time with those that I did miss. You may have noticed that I was limping most of the time. Things tended to get worse when Sunday came around. I could barely walk. I was going to stay through Tuesday, but I decided to leave on Monday instead because the pain was too great. I tried to leave the San Jose Convention Center parking garage, but then the car I was driving decided to break down. I had to have it towed. All while being in pain. I still haven't unpacked from the trip. In too much pain. I was riding in my dad's car yesterday to pick up the car that broke down when I sneezed and it felt like the end of the world. I was in unbelivable excruciating pain. I asked my father to drive me to the hospital. I couldn't get out of the car. I was all numb by the pain. The hopital staff brought me a wheel chair. The transition between the car and wheelchair was unbelivable painful. I asked for sedative, but they told me that I could not get one until I was checked in. It took over an hour to get checked in while being in extreme pain. I want to sue them for that. Finally, after an hour and a half they gave me something called Dedotti. I then had an MRI. The results came a few hours later. A bulging herniated disc on my L4 & 5. Same place as eleven years ago when I had the first herniated disc in the same spot. I am not sure how I hurt my back the first time eleven years ago or this time. I will take a cortizone injection next. I hope that most of these costs will be covered because all I have is county health insurance. I was laid off in August so no medical insurance through them. I am still waiting for my unemployment check for that. I have been told that it will cost $7,400 for the surgury out of pocket. I do not have that money so I am reaching out to my furry family for anyone that can help. I promise to pay back those that want to be paid back. Thank you for listening. For those that can come and see me if you want, I am at San Ramon Regional Medical Center San Ramon, CA. I am in room 228.
Who's going to FC?

The Latest
Posted 14 years agoHere's the latest news on me. I had a blast at Frolic this past Saturday night. I hadn't been there in like four months. It was good to be back and I am glad that I went. Neon Bunny, the Organizer of Frolic, said that we broke the attendance record! 192 furries! How awesome is that?! It was like a little reunion seeing all my friends. I hadn't seen some of them for awhile.
On another note, I am doing good so far as a distributor for Herbalife. I am almost finished with the training. I have started a few friends on the products who are serious about losing weight. I lost 62 pounds myself on the products four years ago. I figured if it helped me, why not offer it to my friends and family who want to lose weight, maintain weight, or even add weight! The products also give me a boost of energy to get the much needed things during the day like work and chores, but still allow me to have tons of energy to do fun things like fursuiting! LOL
I have also been busy painting all the trim on my house. I always have to get it ready for the upcoming winter. I just replaced a few rotted out boards on the arbor over my deck. That was a ton of work. After I cut and nailed in all the boards, I had to prime and paint the whole thing. It took me about a week. It's sure nice to be done with that! The next project is a new roof on the house. That will be very expensive. I am going with a A+ accredited business on the BBB that has been around for 35 years. Their prices are competitive which is fine by me. I'd rather spend a sufficient amount of money on a reputable company than one that is not.
I will also be starting a new fursuit one of these days when I have some money saved up. I am thinking about making a cheetah. I'll probably start working on it around the first of next year.
I will be at FC again this year and look forward to hanging with all my buddies there. I can't wait to see all you who are going to be there this coming Jan. Take care! Talk to you all later!

Posted 14 years agoI was laid off from my bar tending job three weeks ago. I came in for work and the GM of the restaurant told me that they should never have hired me because work has been slow and they need to give the hours to the other employees who had been there longer than me. I think that is a bunch of bulls**t! I think that they just didn't want to pay me unemployment during this entire month of September while they are remodeling the place. I had been there for over a month and had been training for two weeks behind the bar as a bartender. I had just learned where everything was and how to use everything. I always showed up to work on time and reported for work everyday. I did everything that was expected of me and I gave 100% of my effort.
I am tired of getting laid off. This is the second time this year! I am also so sick and tired of making other individuals (employers) wealthy off my hard efforts.
I am now in training as a Distributor for Herbalife. I am working at home doing an online business with Herbalife. They seem like a legit company. Number 1 in nutrition, A+ rating with the BBB, in business for 30 years, publicly traded on the NYSE, sell to 78 countries, and have 50,000 consumers. I am now in business for myself, but not by myself. I have a coach, or mentor, helping me set up a website, merchant account, domain name, hosting, etc. I certainly hope that I am successful at this.

Posted 14 years agoI recently just acquired a new bar tending job at a upscale restaurant in Danville. I am very excited about the new job! This will be the first actual time I have worked in a restaurant bar! I am a certified bar tender. I went to the San Francisco School of Bartending two summers ago. I am sooo happy that I can finally put my bartending skills to work in a real bar!!!
I was laid off from my other job two weeks ago. 10% of the company was let go. Some people had been there for over a decade!
On another note, I attended CF2011 and performed for the first time for the FNL show at Califur. It was a ton of fun!!!

Califur - 2011
Posted 14 years agoCalifur was a ton of fun as usual. I had a ton of fun with all you fuzzies! I enjoyed performing in FNL. I can't wait to see the video in a few weeks!
The beginning of the trip started out fun. My bf, Butters, and I left Danville at 5:45 am on Thursday and made it to Valencia at 10:20 am just in time for Six Flags (Magic Mountain) to open at 10:30 am. The first ride we went on was Tatsu, the most thrilling ride in the country I hear. I had no idea what kind of ride it was other than a roller coaster when I rode on it. It was really fun, but extremely scary at the same time. I have problems with heights so this was definitely over the top! We rode De Jevu next and then Superman. De Jevu was similar to Tatsu. I was toataly not expecting the superman ride to start out by going 100 MPH backwards up a 400 foot tower. That was insanely out of sight!!! We then rode Apocalypse, a new wooden roller coaster. It was pretty darn fast also! Next, we rode X2 which was also a ton of fun! We rode a total of 18 roller coasters that day. All with just 2 hours of sleep! LOL
We stayed over night at the Comfort Inn in Manhattan Beach that night. We hit up Club TigerHeat in Hollywood that night which was also really fun!
We packed our stuff up on Friday and drove to Irvine for Califur. We arrived at the Marriott (Califur) at noon. Then checked in.
We departed Califur on Sunday around 2:30 pm after having breakfast with a bunch of friends at IHOP and then headed to the fashion district in downtown L.A. so my friend, Legendary, (who was riding back with us to the bay area) could buy some fur. We then hit up the tar pit in La Brea. That was awesome!!! This spot has been in several movies. I have been wanting to see it for years. All sorts of fossils from dinosaurs to other species have been trapped in the tar over the past 2000 years!
After that, we drove back up north. It was one fun, memorable vacation! Thanks to all of you who kicked it with us this past weekend!

Update
Posted 14 years agoI have been working for Core Logic (carworks.com) for about three weeks now. They have me just doing social media right now, but I have been promised that I will be writing car reviews soon.
I am leaving for L.A. tomorrow night with my bf, Butters. We are going to hit up Club TigerHeat in West Hollywood on Thursday night for all those interested in that vicinity. So far, the only one I know that is joining us is Extremefox who lives in West Hollywood.
My bf and I will be checking into the Marriott in Irvine on Friday and staying through Sunday. For all of you who are going to Califur, I hope to see you there!
I will be in three of the skits for FNL on Saturday night. Please come watch me!
