Well, after I waited over 1 year for a commission, I asked the artist to give me my money back. Here ist his answer:
"As soon as I get paid for this next piece of art I am working on. I don't really want to pay you back with my current monthly budget, and since you are not a friend I am in no rush. But I am fair so you will get your $ back minus the effort put into the sketch which ill I'll forward it to you.
In all honesty I dont give a shit about furries, unfortunately your commission landed in the time frame that I got fucked over too many times for me to care anymore. I only do furry art for personal friends so such is the way of life."
What a nice guy :) . Here is my answer to him:
"I am sorry to hear that your in trouble,but a simple "I need a bit cause I dont have much money" would have been enough ;) .
That no-friend of mine thing is right and if you dont give a shit about furries...well I give a shit about that.We had a contract,I paid upfront but you didnt show me any result.
You want an effort for the sketch (I never saw one)?Ok fine,I will calculate the interests for the 90$ I gave to you and we will see how much you owe me (due to international law it should be around 5% per month after 6 months of not doing what you were paid for)....what about that?
So plz get me right,its ok if you need some more time but if you think you can piss me off your wrong my friend.
If you have any problems with that we sure can discuss that at a con in the US or on my next visit in the states...I love the states and love to travel ;) ."

why I am so rare these days

The major changes from 01/03/2011 cost me a lot of preparation and incredible amount of time. The moving is more stressful than I thought and I hang already behind my schedule. Also, I do not know exactly where I will work from 1.3.
So much for the good start into the new year ....
Ja ich bin ziemlich selten online diese Tage.
Die gravierenden Veränderungen ab 1.3.2011 kosten mich sehr viel Vorbereitung und unglaublich viel Zeit. Der Umzug ist stressiger als gedacht und ich hänge bereits jetzt hinter meinem Zeitplan. Außerdem hab ich keine Ahnung wo genau ich ab 1.3 arbeiten werde.
So viel zum guten Start ins neue Jahr...
