Seeking Reference Artists...
General | Posted 2 years agoHey all, hoping someone can suggest some artists for what I'm searching for...
It's coming up on a 5 year anniversary for my partner and I and I was hoping to be able to do something special for him.
He has a character that doesn't have any art yet (as he only recently got into the space) and I'm trying to find an artist who
would be willing to work with mostly text and some visual references I've compiled to get the image across. Ideally, I'm just
looking for someone who can maybe do a flat-colored sketch of his character so that we can use that to commission a larger
piece/official ref somewhere down the road when money isn't so tight. But it's hard to find someone who will work without a
solid ref (which I totally understand) and I don't draw men very well T_T
The character is male- human-esque. It's an Oni (basically a big ass demon lol) with a large/bulky/somewhat muscular build.
If any of y'all know any artists that might be up to the task, can you drop their bio here so I can check them out and go over their TOS?
May also take suggestions for a good base that might work for him as well. Can be F2U or P2U it doesn't matter. :P

It's been a while, so I wanted to pop in here and post an update. Lil' late, but- hey. Better late than never. :P
About Discord...
First thing I would like to address is the recent deletion of my Discord Server: The Possum Posse. Please know that this was not a decision I made lightly.
Recently my physical and mental health have been taken a toll on me and the weight of running a server was too much on my mind. Though there were some
who still posted semi-frequently for the vast majority of the time the server was very inactive- and that's okay! It happens. My life has changed I simply did not
have the desire to run my own server anymore. I apologize to everyone as I did not make an announcement of this- I really did not want it to be a big thing.
Know that I love and appreciate all of you who joined and for all the laughs and good times shared over the years of it running. I hope you all stay happy and healthy. <3
Now as for FA...
I still actively create art and characters, simply not as often as I have in the past. I haven't posted anything publicly in a while but that may change eventually- just don't expect
frequent posts as I am still, by an large, inactive. While I am fairly inactive in notes/comments I do check them every now and then, just not super often unless I am actively
working on commissioning an artist. I still use Discord but for now I will be keeping my ID private for the time being.
Regarding physical/mental health...
So yeah, neither of these have been great for me but I'm not looking for attention or concern. I appreciate everyone who may worry about me but please don't, I swear I'll get by.
I have an amazing friend group whom I love and care for deeply as well as a truly loving partner who has made the past 4 years of my life the best I've ever had. I am loved and taken care of.
I'm grateful for those wonderful people in my life among other things, so even when the going gets tough- at least I'm still going and have people to go with. ^-^

General | Posted 6 years agoThat title is way peppier than I'm feeling, but with everything going on in my life right now and how swamped I am with work,
I didn't even realize I'd passed the milestone. Thank you all so much. I apologize for the radio silence but it may be a while yet.
