My Story of my FIRST Furry Con, Fursonacon!!
Posted 9 years agoI just have to say, for a first year furry convention and my first furry con, it was everything I dreamed and more!! It wasn't too overwhelming as it was it's first year, but the fun I had and the friends I made over the weekend were beyond amazing!!
I also had my first ever art table! I stayed up late, making prints. I only had $20 for the whole convention, and I was stressing out. So I gambled it on reserving an art table, all day saturday. And the response I got was beyond amazing!! I met so many wonderful and nice people in this community. It made me really want to continue making a career out of my art. So thank you to everyone who came by my table to talk, just say hi, and admire my art. I really really appreciate it!! I also got to meet some cool artist like
hoot and 
rudragon
With all this said, I'm going to start working on commissions and things~ yay~ And I also have some super big announcements to make later in the week. So look out for that....

Long time, no talk [Updates]
Posted 9 years agoHey guys! Sorry I haven't been very active lately. Been really busy with big life changes. I moved out of my shitty apartment, gotten married to the love of my life~ and getting ready to move 5 states over now. With all of this going on I haven't been drawing much at all.... Had some super big art block. But the good news is I've finally climbed over it and I kicked in the butt!!
When it comes to my commissions however, suprisingly a lot of people have been asking me for them. And I think that really helped me get my confidence in art back. So thank you everyone for that!! I'm trying to get orginized and take commissions as seriously as I want to. I'm so grateful for all the wonderful and patient furries I've met recently and I can honestly say I'm feeling happy again. With that being said.... If I owe you a commission, you could please message me about it and the date it was requested, I'll be moving it to the top of my prioirity list.

The bristol paper is 11x14 in. Commission will be done in colored pencil. Complex commissions though will increase this price.

I use the really nice bristol paper and colored pencils to make con badges. They’re laminated, about 6in tall, and are mailed with a clip so you can clip it to whatever you feel like! I also do COSPLAY BADGES. They’re a double sided badge, featuring your fursona on one side and your fursona cosplaying on the other. These ones are $20.

I love doing these really pretty grayscale sketches. They always come out better than I expected. Usual do waist-up or busts sketches. If you specifically tell me to do one or the other I can do so. These sketches however will not be shipped. Just letting you know.

New Commission Ideas: Traditional and scarves????
Posted 10 years agoLast week was a really rough week for me. I'm still doing a little rough but not nearly as bad. So fun fact: I'm engaged now! Woop woop!~ I'm pretty happy about that. But that whole weekend of letting everyone know about the engagement was stressful as well, but we're both so happy. It all feels right....
But that's enough with the life update! I thought about it and my last journal was just kind of a huge unstable emotional storm. Now that I've got my head on a little straighter, I can still do traditional commissions for people. If people are interested in them. I have been having more fun doing traditional stuff anyway.
I also crochet. I'm currently making a scarf for taco-prince based off of his fursona. So it has like the red and orange stripes, then I'm doing white outline and tassels. Then I'm crocheting little bat wings to go on one end. And since it's starting to get to that chilly time of the year, I was wondering if people would be interested in me crocheting them a scarf? I was thinking of pricing them at like $45? That included shipping. I'll make a template for people to color and design. Then I'll crochet it, send you WIP pics. It normally takes me three days to finish a scarf. They're really warm, and made with love!

Just a couple hours before this, i was working on over due commissions. But my laptop just crapped out on me. Its done. I cant work on commissions. Ill try to get refunds out when i get enough money, but im struggling right now as it is.
I feel like ive wronged so many people in my time here. I wanted to make it up to you all and i was trying. But that laptop was my last chance. I dont know what im going to do.
I also was terminated (without my knowledge) from my job at cracker barrel by the new Gm who i barely know. I was gojng to work there today but that obviously isnt happening....
So, this really freaking sucks..... but i guess im just giving up for now. Im crying, paniccing, trying to figure out what to do. Im sorry if i wronged you or hurt you. Im just... done....

The reason I haven’t been active lately is cause… well life basically. Moving out on my own, trying to pay bills, also being in constant fear of losing my job. Car sales is a little tougher than I imagined. I work a lot of hours. I have to handle being told no almost every single day.
Me and Kane aren’t together anymore, but we’re still friends. I still handle his commissions when I can. And I really want to get back into my commissions. But until then, COMMISSIONS ARE CLOSED. I can try to get to finish them, I’m starting to get a bit of an art bug again. But if people want refunds, let me know and I’ll try to time them so I’m not totally broke. I already had a couple of people issue refunds and overdraft my accounts. So April has been fun. Hopefully this month will get better. I really hope so….
And again, I’m very sorry for not being responsible with my commissions and keeping in touch with commissioners. If you need to get a hold of me, PLEASE email me at LEXIPUPFA@GMAIL.COM. Commissions and Life update! PLEASE READ
Posted 10 years agoHey everyone! As I told you last week, I got a job at a car dealership. I'm hella excited to work there and I've only been through two days of work. It's long hours, I only have one day off, one day to go in late and one day where I get off a bit early. And sometimes, those won't be garenteed because I never know when I have a date with a customer. But I'm only in training right now, so it isn't too bad. With this all being said....
Commission Status!
Commissions will be slightly delayed. I don't have the unlimited free time I used to have. The Valentines YCHs will be finished before valentines day and other commission I will work on when I get the time. I won't be posting every day like I used too, but I will do my best not to completely burn myself out.

Life News and COMMISSIONS CLOSED
Posted 10 years agoI have like 10 commissions I need to finish so I'm not taking on anymore until I finish these ones. I just wanted to thank everyone for supporting my art. It really means a lot, it keeps me going and makes me want to be a better artist. Love you all!!

I got a new job! I'm going to be selling cars now, woop woop! Gunna be a lot of work and I wont be home as much as I use too. My schedule will probably consist of one hour drawing after work (if I'm not exausted) and drawing all day on my one day off ;w; I'm gunna do my best, wish me luck!!
