I've been doing both coms on here as well as some on deviantart and twitter, so I've been a bit held up on all fronts >_> Trying to get a lot done before AC. I still have some suit work to do, so I'll be focusing on that and other things I really need to prepare before the convention in two days, so there won't be a lot of commission work that doesn't relate to the con ATM. I will be returning to getting commissions done regularly once everything calms down after AC is over.

Posted 9 years agoOkay so I totally stayed way longer than anticipated at my friend's house, since I really really need to get my suit done in time for AC at the end of the month. But, all work is going to continue, and I'll probably be uploading several a day to make up for the loss of time. Expect more uploads as the week gos on.

Posted 9 years agoI'm going to be out of town for a bit working on fursuits (since I can't really work on them at my new house :c) So the art making will be on hold till Sunday. I'll probably do multiple on Sunday to make up for the lost time.

Tutorial Streams (comment your ideas?)
Posted 10 years agoSo I want to begin doing tutorial streams, but I need some help. I'd like to focus on some more technical parts, like proportions, anatomy, gesture, and perspective, but also go into certain techniques and things like that.
I just need help knowing what people would like to focus on more so that I can get a general sense of what people would like to learn (at first at least). From there I'll see how much attention it brings and how many people enjoy it to decide whether or not to continue. I'll probably upload the stream to youtube as well so anyone who missed it can watch it there too.

Trading Art Commissions
Posted 10 years agoThis won't happen for a while, but for the future I have a small idea.
I am going to be increasing my prices after this batch of commissions is fully complete, mostly because I cannot take a lot of them while I'm in college. So, as another option for payment, I want to start doing a sort of trade. I don't mean art exactly, but I'm going to create a list of things I'm interested in/want and do specific art for them.
So, for example, I might say I want such and such game and I'll do a full flat color commission for it, or something along those lines. I want to do this so that people who maybe cannot afford to get art but really want to get something done or have things to get rid of can still purchase art in a way.
Again, this isn't going to be for a while due to my commission list at the moment, but I'd like to start it up in the future!

I've literally only just had my replacement cord for my tablet for about a week maybe and already it doesn't work. I contacted Wacom to see about what I can do, but honestly if you make a product that's priced at $1500, you should not be making the cords necessary to use said product worth $3, especially when I spent $60 getting the damn thing replaced.
Honestly though, I can't say anything about the regular Cintiq's and such, but until they somehow fix this problem, stay away because it's honestly not worth it in the end. I'd just get an Intuos or Bamboo and be done with it.

Decided to just pay the extra $25 to get it expressed. Should get here by next week instead.
So Wacom's crappy workmanship royally screwed me over (for the second time...). Because I can only get the 3 way cord from them, I have to spend $30+ to get a new one, and even then, 12-15 days for delivery??? I only have a week till I leave for school after that, so it's cutting it down to the wire. The only other option is to have it rushed, but that costs 25 extra dollars. No way am I spending that much on something I shouldn't have to be spending any money on at all.
Anyway, if I do post anything between now and then it will most likely be traditional or fursuit related things :/

Posted 10 years agoSo my house was basically just bought/about to be so I really need to get rid of my fursuit materials since I can't keep them. I'll probably make a real post with everything I'm selling, but essentially I have:
3 yards of white
3 inch foam
lots of scrap foam (a lot of big pieces)
about a half yard of 1 inch foam
lots of scrap fur (red, grey, black, turquoise, white)
a few yards of purple
yard of brown
yard of mongolian ivory/white
yellow
lots of fabric scraps
lots of vinyl
2 yards or so of orange
a yard or two of regular blue
RARE light yellow rabbit fur (2 yards or so)
Please spread if you can. I really need to get rid of this stuff ;A;

Posted 10 years agoOk so coms have been kinda slow because reasons, however, I am getting back on track because I actually have been motivated to do crap lately.
Got home from Florida the other day. Visited Ringling because I got into their computer animation program and am possibly choosing it as my college to go to this coming school year :U gonna cry from all the work, but meh, at least it's something I love.
Speaking of college, after I head out my parents are selling the house, meaning I need to get rid of A LOT of stuff that is taking up space we wont have in the new house. If anyone is interested, I have a lot of foam scraps of substantial sizes that could use a new home, so if you'd like to purchase some, I'd be happy to send them your way! I've also got a lot of fur scraps siting around, so that could be sent away as well. If anyone is interested feel free to comment, though I may make an official post later.
Also! Because of college, this summer is most likely your last chance commission me or get anything off of me until fall/winter break. I don't think I'll have any fursuit related commission available unfortunately, but we'll see how everything goes. Preparing for AC is going to take a big chunk of summer out, so I'll have to see what time is left! Art related commissions will definitely continue to be taken.

I've been put in quit the pickle because I have literally had no time to do anything this month oAo You may know or not know, but this is my senior year in high school, and I'm planning on attending art college next year, so right now is a hectic time because of college applications and shit... And on top of that, regular school work. I've been trying to keep everything under control, but it has gotten difficult to fit everything I need to get done into the time I have to get it done.
So, to make a long story short, any art that I need to get out to people is going to be delayed until I can get a head on school work and get my head in the game. I'm sure at that point I'll be dying to do something different, and I'll be posting more often @_@ Right now I simply need to get out of this rut I'm stuck in.
On top of that, I have also decided to not take fursuit commissions for a long while. I'm not positive when I will open for them, but I want to make it a time where I am not super busy and can focus on it wholeheartedly. This will probably be towards December, because at that point I am well into the year and all of the hectic college stuff is done and over with.

Quotes
First off, if you would like to know if I am currently open, check my front page. I will have it written whether I am open or closed, and if it is the latter, when I will be opening.
That being said, please do not come to me asking for quotes when I am closed, please wait until I am open for quotes to do so.
Please also only express interest if you are positive you can pay for the commission, or if you cannot please tell me that you cannot, otherwise I get very confused on who is going to pay or not.
With that out of the way let us move on to the part you all would like to know about.
Prices
Base Prices
Head: Static Jaw: $200+ Moving Jaw: $300+
Partial: $400+
Fullsuit: $500+
Specifics
Please specify whether you would like:
-airbrushing
-any sort of realism (jawset, eyes, nose, etc)
-fans
-claws
-digigrade
I only do just parts (hands, feet, tail, body) on occasion, so please contact me if you have an inquiry.
You may be also asking; "Why the huge jump from a static jaw to a moving jaw?". This is because I must order a head base in order to do the jaw. I do not feel confident enough to make sure the head will fit right if I did a moving jaw on my current toony heads.
What I will not do
-Large dragon wings. Not until I can figure out an easier way to create them.
-Murr suits
Payment
-All payments will be taken through paypal, though if necessary I can take money through checks.
-At least a %30 down payment must be made once you are cleared. At that point you will be officially on my commission list.
-Payments can then be made over time. You can also pay all at once, however, everything must be paid off before I send the suit. I will not send the package before the final payment is sent.
-I can ship outside the USA, however, be prepared for a hefty shipping cost (100+$)
-You do get a warranty! If anything happens, feel free to send me a note. If the incident happens within a year of receiving the suit, I will repair it completely for free. Any time after that shipping costs are on the buyer.
If there's any other questions feel free to send me a note. I am very happy to answer any questions or discuss anything I did not mention here.
