So, if you play league mind posting your summoner name? I won't be able to play till I get back to the USA though :C unless if anyone knows how to actually get games to load from China on the NA server lol.

So this past weekend I went down to North Carolina for the World Tang Soo Do Associations World Championships. It's a rather large karate competition that is held every two years in the US. In between it is held somewhere in Europe (changes location every year there).

Now, we've been working hard not only to perfect our individual competition areas but also our group demonstration which is called "Creativity". The idea is every studio that competes creates a 5 minute long demo that has a creative theme and ideas. Every team has a topic and the main rule is if you go over 5 minutes you are disqualified. You perform the demonstration in front a panel of about 10 masters as well as the huge crowd around you and get scored twice in two areas: Technical (how good your karate was) and Creativity (obvious what that is).

So there were 15 teams, and out of the 15 we went 11th. It's best to go toward the end because in the beginning the judges still don't know what's good and what's bad, so if you're later you have a better chance for a higher score.
This year was kind of funny because out of the 15 teams 6 of them had some sort of repeat. There were two Avengers groups, two Ninja Turtles (which is done every year), and surprisingly two Rise of the Guardians teams. Our team did Alice in Wonderland (which if you're wondering how the hell you make that into a demo, we've also done Snow White, Romeo and Juliet, and The Wizard of Oz and won 1st, so it works lol)

So it finally comes time for us to go, we perform, we end, and we get our scores. Out of all the teams that went so far we were the only ones to get high 8's as well as a total of 5 9's in our total score, which put us at 1st so far. Only 4 other teams were left to go, so we felt pretty good. Coming upon the last team to go we were still very much in the lead, and the next team that went was a team that didn't really have a creative theme, they simply did karate. It was an amazing demonstration, but I only expected them to get great technical scores, not creative scores. Well, the judges decided to prove me wrong. They ended up getting higher creative scores than us somehow which had everyone going "What the hell??". It was really questionable.

So, I at least expected us to get 2nd place, which was fine, we came here to have fun and it's okay if we get 2nd to a team that did very well. So, I wasn't expecting it when they called us up for 3rd place after all the scores were tallied. If only you could have seen the looks of shock on all of our faces when the team from Mozambique got 2nd over us. The reason most likely? Our judges were sucking up to them because they flew from Africa to compete. Their topic was something that has been done a million times, and honestly even the parents in the crowd said we got cheated.

I understand if we were to get 3rd in a fair game, but to really be placed lower because someone else flew farther? It really isn't fun to do all this work and not get what you deserve. Aside from that, I had a lot of fun competing, even though I didn't get any places because my ring was 14 girls and super difficult. My parents placed me at probably being toward the middle in terms of how I fared (Though I totally disagreed with some of what my judges were scoring, I really had no clue what they were thinking when they scored some of these people)

Anyway, if someone ends up posting a video of our demo, I'll be sure to put a link up. It was super fun and totally awesome, and I wish I was sticking around for college so I could continue to do it.

This is important because their laws on the internet are reaaaaally strict, so I have no clue if I'll be able to access FA from there. AC was amazing ouo first furry con and yet it had to be the best con I've ever been to. I'll be getting right back to working on drawings and other things now, but I do need to make some updates to my fursuit commissions.

First off, I will be offering moving jaws soon! There is a catch however, I can only do it through head bases, so until I can make my own head base, I will be using the resin bases from Monoyasha, though they will be modified.

I will also be updating my prices. There won't be any significant increases, I just need to get a set base on how much I need to charge. I will also be making different prices based on the style, so I will be offering multiple styles as well. I am simply trying to make this easier for all of you as well as for me in estimating how much will be spent.
As a side note, commissions will be open by the end of the summer, probably around September or October after I have settled into school again. This coming year is senior year so fall is going to be a busy time ono

Anyone there? I sort of doubt it, but it is a pretty huge music festival. Just got home from the first big night and I'm pretty sure I smell like illegal substances... I need to bring a bandanna tomorrow ._.

Firefly is a huge east coast music festival held in Dover, DE once a year since 3 years ago. Last year we had 60,000 people and this year we have 80,000! We just keep growing :| But hey, makes sense when big names head out to play here. This year's lineup is fantastic honestly; Imagine Dragons, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters (which I just saw), The All Americans, Outkast, and a lot more.

If you're into music and concerts and cool festivals, I'd look into it next year because it's super cool (and I don't even really like concerts that much).

So I have the busiest summer ever this year.
Gotta finish a suit commission, finish my own suit for AC which i can't start till this other suit is done (thank God I have the materials), got tournament prep, summer health, and I'm heading to China for a whole month.

I've just made myself really stressed though because I have about 20 days to finish 2 suits. I'll have to really push myself to get everything done, but I think I can do it if I work all day long for a week or two.

I'm hoping my mom will even let me go to AC. We're paying for so much right now because of some school classes and this trip to China, so she doesn't want to pay for this. I told her I could pay for it but I think she's skeptical... I'm just really hoping everything works out. Tomorrow is my last set of finals and then I'm free from school, so I should have a lot more time to do stuff and be more willing. One of my problems is by the time I get home from school I'm so tired that I start falling asleep, and have no will to work on anything important. I feel guilty about it, but it's really something that's hard to change because it's hard to force myself to do things I really am not in the mood to do, ya know? Those feelings are starting to disappear though, so maybe I can trudge through this and make shit happen.

So I had an idea, and I'm not sure if I will go through with it yet, but I find it interesting and possibly really fun.

It's really common for beginners to fursuit making to have a million questions, the massive information pool of the internet, but no where to find good, one on one info and training on fursuit making. I'd really like to give back to the community by making this information out there in the public and more accessible.

The way I propose this is actually doing classes via livestream or something similar. The class would run from start to finish with making a particular suit and each class would focus on a particular piece, like shaving fur, sewing the head pattern, etc.

Would anyone be interested, or think it's a good idea?

One of my friends wants me to do a pokemon fursuit to go along with her houndoom which you can see in my favs and gallery, however I'm not really sure about whether I want to do a pokemon or if I want to do my own character :/ I really want to make a suit of Flik at some point but I also think it would be fun to go in a group with her as a pokemon. So stumped >_< Any help? What do you guys think? And if you think I should do a pokemon which should it be?

I have a somewhat serious question to ask...
So, I’ve wanted a pet for the longest time, but I’ve always run into issues with that we would often travel to soccer games and such for my sister and my dad is allergic to a lot of different pet fur, but mostly cats and dogs while I’m highly allergic to cats. 
Well, I can drive now and my parents are able to leave me home on the weekends they go to visit my sisters, so the amount of time spent away from home has significantly decreased. 
I wanted to ask if anyone has had experience with small animals that are good pets? I’m not really looking for a reptile either, but something I can interact with. Can anyone give me some pros and cons as well as any experiences they have had?

so i've been swamped with school work this week, so all my commissions are going to have to wait, but I wanted to announce something else.

I just preordered Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs which comes out the 10th. So, just like I did with the first game, I am going to be playing the game live on livestream!
Since I'll be going in blind, it should be super fun to watch, since I'll probably be screaming in fear. For those of you who have never heard of the series, it's an indie game on the computer that is considered to be one of the most terrifying horror games to date, and I can tell you that that statement is pretty accurate.

So I want to try to start making button/pin sets ouo These would be $2 per pin.

What I wanted to ask was for series that you would be interested in seeing pins from? I already plan on probably doing SNK/attack on titan, doctor who, supernatural, and merlin, though I'd like to know if you all have any suggestions or would be interested?
