Posted 2 years agoSo I don't like the new rule changes or whatever the fuck. I like sizeplay, I'm going to continue commissioning sizeplay, and I don't need some arbiter dictating I'm wrongthink because I wanna fuck a smol vulpix or eevee that's an adult age.
I have several sizeplay pics in my gallery, I'm not deleting them. I'm also not going to upload any more to FA for the forseeable future (although I stopped awhile ago). I have a huge backlog that I need to dig around and grab, I'll likely reupload my entire gallery elsewhere, probably e621 and inkbunny, and other platforms if they come up.
Also I think it's really the most gross to the artists, like, if I get a week ban or permanent ban from an artsite like FA it doesn't do anything to me, but it really fucking sucks for the artists that make this their living. That's their fucking livelihood, and I end up finding a lot of artists through FA, it's a real shame that it got to this point. Thankfully there's also twitter (when it isn't exploding or being dumb when the barely 20 crowd starts debating that we should ban feral NSFW artwork, seriously I'm about to punch down on these kids), and I'll retweet/post art there as well but even then I'm lazy on twitter. I will need some time to gather everything (some newer art is on my prior PC so I'll have to dig around for it.)
So I'll be on Inkbunny and twitter in the future, but it might take me some time to repopulate the gallery and then add in new art.

Posted 5 years agoI've been a little slow on doing more commissions, and slow on everything in general. I'm hanging in there though, hopefully covid can go away soon, but I have a feeling all cons are cancelled this year because of it. And my tournaments also.

TFF roomies?
Posted 5 years agoI'm looking for one, maybe two or three more roomies for TFF. I have the Hyatt Regency Dallas, which I assume is the main hotel, if you want in or know someone who needs a room for the con, let me know! I have a doubles room and one roommate currently, asking another.
What I'd actually like to see FA introduce for features.
Posted 6 years agoCan we get a categorization system for watchers and people we watch? So like:
bitches I throw money at vs bitches I watch for art vs bitches who wanna be my bitches
Sorting people I watch by artist or art whore would be amazing as well. Give artists a TOS listing page they can fill out, things they will and won't draw, and let us sort by that. Let us search artists by price too if they're willing to slap that down as well (obviously those things change based on character, I know mine gets upcharged from time to time, but a baseline would be interesting to search by).
How about a system for sorting journals by category? Maybe there could be a typing list we could search by for journals, so let's say I want <Feral, NSFW, commission>, then search all journals by that, maybe I could search users that I'm not watching as well for that. Maybe let us sort by commission openings and by what they are willing to draw as well. It'd be amazing if I could get an idea for a commission, hit a few buttons and suddenly find every artist on FA that's willing to draw Feral NSFW art that's currently open, and then I could figure out who I want from there. Maybe having a function to check by recent commission openings as well if I want to check out other artists and maybe wait and see when their queue usually reopens or something similar to that. Also, a search category for streamed art could be useful too, I'm 50/50 on whether or not I like to watch art streams, sometimes it stresses me out because it tends to go by quicker and I miss details, but some people may like the streamlined process more and being able to watch stuff being drawn on the fly.

Posted 6 years agoBeen a bit inactive here, I'm still alive! I'm a bit more active on twitter but even then I've been a little limited there. I had a lot of fun at PFC and the NH Furbowl, might catch the next Maine furbowl but I'm uncertain. My next con is FWA, and I might catch Portcon Maine because it's less than an hour from me. Then AC, then Furpoc, then MFF. Not sure if there's stuff between AC and Furpoc, we'll just have to see!
I will be trying to get occasional art here and there also, but I'm going to slow down considerably for a bit, potentially! I've been playing a lot of Smash though, I wanna get better at the game to try and win the tournaments at these cons!

Fuzzy Logic and their escape room was a lot of fun! I really liked the puzzles (and I normally HATE puzzles, but it was a lot of fun)! We finished in 50 minutes with one clue.
Oh, then after that, I was late to get into the fursuit games, but I did get to the monster movies thing. We riffed on old B movies, movie shorts and such. It was like, there was one scene with a werewolf being shot up by a ton of people and I was like, "HAHAHA, ONLY A SILVER BULLET CAN KILL ME!" Everyone was dying laughing, it was great~. Also we watched some old Goofy cartoons and I was like, "GORSH! THIS SURE LOOKS LIKE COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT, HUYUCK!"
There was also uh... I forget. Saturday was the photo shoot and we went for walkies to the Boston Commons, there were 600 fursuiters or more, and then 300+ went out in a mock parade sorta thing going through the park and streets. It was fun! I got super tired though. Saturday feels like a blur. I went to the fursuit dance, I walked through the dealer's den and the artist's alley, there might be a panel I'm missing there... Oh late at night there was an improv thing, that was a lot of fun too! Sadly my humor was sketch then, it didn't really hit as hard as the other night, but it was still fun! I got invited to a room party afterwards and we played lots of games, Smash and Jackbox, I really need to get the Jackbox for the Switch, really fun party game!
Hm... Then today I walked about in suit, there was the Fursuit Recess which was like a second version of the fursuit games, and then I walked around for a bit. I had a ton of people wanting photos of me, it was really nice! I watched a bit of ANE's got talent, but the moment I heard that there was a Kaiju battle arena going on I immediately booked it to that and got into it. I wasn't super impressive but I looked really pretty I'm sure! Also I grabbed a building and smashed it over another fursuiter's head! I kinda wish I yelled "BUY MORE PEARLS" when I won, but ah well C:.
We had closing ceremonies and I went out to have dinner with a friend and some of her friends, which was nice, lots of booze, some lazanga or however you spell it. Overpriced >.> but eh. Oh! Fire and Ice was great though, that was on Saturday night, that place is like a buffet hibachi, you get a bowl of raw food, give it to the chef and they cook it hibachi style. I had like, three types of pasta, steak, ground beef, chicken, calamari and scallions for my first round, with some sweet and sour sauce. IT WAS SO GOOD HOLY HECK! Like, it rivaled Sea 40, no joke! Apparently it was $22 for the buffet, and you can get more bowls after that too, so it's really nice! Also I brought my fursuit head into the place and scared the heck out of like six people both to the restaurant and in the restaurant :D
Really great time, next year the theme is the roaring twenties so my top hat's gonna be super handy for that! Looking forward to it!

Also I'm sad that I didn't use the nunchucks during the kaiju fight so I could have played this song over it on youtube later https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fos1GjX-1to NEXT YEAR I WILL REMEMBER.
Also I got super dehydrated this morning ;_; I didn't have enough water during the day and then going to get booze after was just a bad combo I guess. I'm fine now but ech, still kinda scary D: I'm back home now though!

Posted 6 years agoSorry about that D: Been lazy snarbo. I still need to get my suit back, hoping I can get an expedited return tomorrow to have it in time for Anthro New England next week! I'm also going to be trying to go to Pine Fur Con, FWA, Anthrocon, Furpoc and MFF this year!
I'm probably not going to do TFF or BLFC (Flights aren't so much the problem as like, getting a hotel room I guess). I'm going to probably try to look more on conroomies or whatever the heck that site is for some of those cons if I can try to room people, kinda like the thought of saving money on the rooms o.o since that's the biggest expense at the cons.
I'd say maybe to those two cons if I could split a room with someone D: but ah well. PFC is an hour from me so I have to go, but I'll have to figure out something for a hotel just because I don't think I can drive with my fursuit on (NOT MY HEAD, I mean just the suit part!). Posted 7 years agoI will be there, and I'll attempt to fursuit! It's just, my hotel situation is really derpy, I'm going to be jumping between hotels three times during the con x.x
I'm still actively searching for Hyatt rooms though just to make things easier, or the Hilton. I have three rooms at the Aloft but it's just too far and the shuttle stops after 11 PM I think, it's just not going to work that well. And it's a shame because Aloft is the only hotel I have for day 1 at the con (not pre-reg, the actual first day of the con, the 30th of November), and I want to be in suit for Alkali's Whose Lion panel, and I'm fairly sure that goes past midnight.
So uh, yeah that's going to be a pain x.x
