So apparently Anthrocon registration was today and not tomorrow, whoops. Still got the hotel just fine though! Does anyone know if preregistration is on the 29th or the 28th? I booked it for the 28th through the third of July just in case...

Cautiously optimistic on this one. As someone who really loved Blade Symphony and dueling in the Dark Souls games, this game really brings it all home for me. I don't like the sound of a season pass right at launch, or the potential of fee to pay elements in the game but... if they're not too crazy, I don't really care so much.

From what I played in the beta (I played like ... 40 hours in the past 3 days? At least 30), I love it so far. Some minor bugs with starting games, a few disconnects and crashes (also one or two of the classes are annoying to fight but I think I just need to practice more) but yeah it's nice. I like playing the Warden, I wanna charge into people and just keep banging 'em against the walls over and over again, this amuses me <:

I'm contemplating visiting SGDQ or AGDQ with this. Saw one runner do RE4 and thought it'd be interesting to try this sort of run, I think it's an interesting challenge. Some optimizations still need to be made, but sub 3 hours I think is really good all things considered.

Also 12 hours is too much for me lol. Strangely I did like, 9 hours fine but those last few hours just drained me completely, to the point I had to take a bit of a power nap. Home safe and sound though!

So I'm back at the room, tired, too tired to go to closing ceremonies, and I've got a full large pizza all to myself. Funny enough when I last had this giordano's or whatever I remember their crust being not so good, but I'm having it now and I'm like oooooooooohhhh fffffuck there bud.

Also I'm tired, did a lot of suiting, actually met up with the badger I met at AC which was really cool! I'll get his name later.

Also might still go back out later but unsure, I need to let my stomach settle at the very least. I was out in suit for quite a bit today though I had to keep jumping to the fursuit lounge for water, also PSA don't drink soda before suiting because you'll have to pee later x.x So that was annoying but other than that it was a lot of fun!

It was interesting to hear the badger's suit was also by sparkle kreations, really looking forward to them doing a full suit for me :D

Had a long day yesterday, got to see all of Alkali's stuff, the MST3K and the Whose Lion, it was all a lot of fun! I wish I could have gone to their after party to hang out with Alkali and the other panelists but I was too tired and needed to crash.

I'm waiting for my stomach to settle after breakfast, then hopefully I'll head over to the fursuit menagerie thingie and maybe get some pictures taken in suit. Afterwards it's a tossup, I don't think I'll be in suit the whole day, though I'd like to see Shiki at the Rocket League tournament later today.

Probably should look up that sushi restaurant in the area too, if it's in walking distance... Or the Park Tavern, one or the other.

Anyone on Instinct in North Carolina? 8D gonna have to find some groups to take over gyms. I just started, level 15 right now, just trying to grind grind grind to maybe 22ish.

Had a great time at AC this year, and even though I missed practically all of Friday, I still really enjoyed suiting and catching a few of the panels! Also drinking with  anubislivess again was really nice, and I got to meet  Carrot in person! A lot of great fursuiters too, hope to do it again next year too!

As for my fursuit head, I screwed up on a few parts of it but the look went over extremely well for people, I got a lot of compliments and a lot of people took my picture! One person properly identified me as a Snarbolax even, which was really cool!

I did not see many top hats or fedoras, I want to say less than 10.

The fursuit head though, it has poor ventilation and visibility, and it gets rather sweaty. The bigger issue is the sweat seems to smear/spread the sharpie ink inside the head, meaninig I need to was my face every time i take off the head. I'll look into cleaning it tonight

FA wont let you sort your watched people. I'm looking for a certain black and red monster creature that i have seen before at previous AC's, and I saw him here but I could not catch up to him for a pic.

Looking forward to Anthrocon though! I'm wagering I will be there Friday morning, or Thursday night if I'm lucky. I'd rather spend an extra day on my suit and risk missing out on a bit of stuff Friday if it means I can make things a tad bit better for myself (I really want/need to make some footpaws if there's time, God help me if I have to use dress shoes to walk around in suit).

Lexxure

Some of these facts are about the character and others are just handy dandy bits of trivia

1. Lexxure has always been the name of my fursonas, though the snarbolax was not my first form. I had two or three different colored foxes and a feral wolf prior to the snarbolax.

2. I've yet to fully flesh out Lexxure's background, though I imagine most of his backstory would be in an anthro form. Most of his backstory would involve inter-dimensional travel, where he's entering different worlds from video games, and drawing powers from those worlds to strengthen himself. The idea I have in my head right now is that he is not natively a Snarbolax, but his entire body would be genetically engineered to resemble the form, taking on part of the creature's traits, including its near-invulnerable hide that rivals a dragon's scales.

3. As anthro, one of his primary powers Lexxure has gained is a variant of the Infusion ability from Risk of Rain. This variant of the ability draws "Prime Blood" from any slain living creature, a small fraction of a creature's blood that ties its body to its soul. The end result allows Lexxure to expand his maximum health to absurd thresholds, and this "Prime Blood" can be seen in the length of the spines along his back. They will stay shorter in the feral form since that form is not intended for combat, though in his anthro form he would have seven or so spines along his back, stretching upwards of four to six feet in length from his back. Part of his spines can be absorbed to repair his body from injuries as well, and his spines can then regenerate on their own after a long duration after combat.

Because of his genetic mutations however, he's considered as a sort of abomination, and due to the genetic makeup of his flesh, his body will not heal from life magic.

3.5 This whole idea for the character stems from how I like to play my video games; making a sort of juggernaut character that is impossible to take down. I might name the anthro character "Thorne" instead, even though it is the same character.

4. Lexxure's quills were made softer because people still insist on sitting on his back all the time. He doesn't want to hurt his friends after all! They also are not poisonous!

5. Lexxure's design was complete happenstance! For the longest time I didn't know how to turn the form into a feral, but with a bit of tinkering, I was able to position his head fairly well to a feral's head position, and I copied the prim for the feral wolf's butt to be his neck as well. The Lost Furrest feral wolf body has a caveat though, in that you can't modify the prim itself or remove its scripts. The humorous part of this is one of the functions of the avatar allows you to lift your leg and pee, but whenever I do this the pee also comes out from my neck D:. Also there's an invisible sheath and balls in my throat that can't be removed either, as that's part of the base butt prim!

6. I had wanted a Wolver originally on Second Life, but such an avatar didn't exist at the time, so I went with the Snarbolax instead. The Wolver did have a spiny sort of back with some of its forms, although thinking about it now, I'm a lot happier with the Snarbolax and the way I modded it!

7. After I had the idea for the mod on Second Life, it actually only took 30 minutes to create, and somewhere around L$3610 for its parts, something like $14 USD.

8. When I first came up with the name "Lexxure" it was actually around 20 years ago when I was still young. It might have been inspired by Lex Luger at the time, although the character never had anything to do with wrestling. He was humanoid back then actually, I seem to faintly remember him having some sort of spiky form with quills all over his body, but it's a blur to me. Later incarnations (long before I was a furry) would have him as a half-dragon with lightning powers. He had a counterpart named Spike, who, unironically, had metal spikes along his back.
