moving apartments soon, and urgently so.
Posted 6 years agobreaking things down as short as I can to inform you guys
so things as they have been, stressful as they were, have gotten a bit more for me now
however I'm adamant to tackle this head on
for over a year now where I've lived, there have been a lot of problems with the "pet policy"
when we moved here we were told no pets, however, the lady at the desk who signed us up said we could have our pet, just a pet deposit was needed, and payment every month
we were happy to sign the papers, as my dog means a lot to me.
Having my dog Bo for so many years now I've come to realize not only how smart he really is, but how loving and affectionate he can truly be.
I was devastated as we learned the lady at the front desk had been fired not only a month later, but we were to release the dog to another home immediately or we would be asked to leave.
Apparently said lady was pocketing money.
From this we also learned that the money she had asked of us for the pet subject was the money she took for herself, not for the apartments.
Upset as I was, I didn't want to rehome my dog, so I had a friend take care of him for a few months.
After a while the friend got tired of having him, so seven months later we brought him back - I wasn't about to rehome him or even THINK about putting him up for adoption.
I figured since everyone else in the apartment complex had a dog - not to mention multiple CATS... (none of them were service animals) ...that I could convince the new office lady that Bo was well trained and a very loveable dog.
However, she declined him being here yet again and I had to wonder, was she discriminating at all? Was it me? I probably will never find out.
In fact for a while we kept Bo here a secret, and one day my roommate returned to me with some eye opening news.
The lady even had her own dog! He asked her about the situation, and she replied, "Well small dogs are okay with me,"
I don't know if this confirms anything or not, but there are also pretty big dogs here too, some bigger than mine. I see them all the time when I go on my morning walks. It's...something rather horrible to feel that these animals, mostly not even trained that make a mess everywhere and are off leash and terrorizing people are tolerated, but my trained dog to the point he can even BE off leash isn't in the slightest bit allowed to even breathe outside the apartment walls.
So today the lady decided to run up the stairs and bang on our door, alerting my dog who barked once because he knows anyone who is allowed here can come in freely. She yelled out "that dog won't be a problem here anymore!" and stomped down the stairs.
My dog is quiet, never barks unless someone is at the door and even then he only does it once.
I don't want to sound so pessimistic, but I'm tired of dealing with this, my roommate and I agree it's time for us to go.
Regardless I'm tired of the drama around this and it's about time we moved...it's been two years now and I'm tired of not being able to take my dog around the complex and having to have him taken out extremely early in the morning or late at night far away from here just to use the bathroom and stretch his legs. He deserves WAY better. He deserves to be a DOG. He deserves to exist.
So we're saving up to move, probably within the month if we can help it - I already found a decent place and I'm crossing my fingers everything will work out.
Here's hoping - and for now I will continue to act like I don't exist until my roomie gets back from training up north. I'm pretty much in full blown panic mode, but I'm going to try to do my best through this...

I already told my parents I'd be there but I'm still coming up short when it comes to the funds for the tickets...in fact I haven't even gotten rent put together yet for this month and I'm running out of time
any advice on what you guys want for adopts/designs? I could really use the help, the situation I'm in right now is really blocking my creativity it seems...

internet fixed, important update

unfortunately as I've withheld some information from you guys I will now explain the situation at hand, which to me, personally, is dire.
I have been quiet due to a couple of reasons. Internet especially being the number one problem but
my grandmother, someone I was very close to, has passed away.
this happened the day after my birthday, April 4th.
unfortunately my plans to see her this month weren't able to happen, but I know I would have been there for her when she passed...
I will regret not being able to be there for a very long time.
So about this situation...
I will be making an abundance of adopts in hopes of being able to fund the attendance to her memorial in June. She was a strong woman and didn't want a funeral, her pride in science and nursing lives on as she willingly donated herself to a university.
she will be cremated,and buried beside my grandfather in the veteran cemetery.
she meant a lot to me, and going to this I desperately need to.
She was one of the biggest parts of my life and always supported me in what I did. I just wish sometimes I would have done more...
I know I won't be able to get closure with her just yet, it will take a lot of time, but I know she is finally in a better place after losing grandpa and suffering a lot the last few months, which devastated our entire family, my mother especially.
I want to take this time to thank you guys yet again for supporting me, it means a lot to me to know that you guys believe in me, just like she did. She always was involved in my artwork, wanting me to succeed and be happy, no matter which path I took in life. As someone so young I only hope to one day be as good of a person as she was to me.
I can only hope for the best, and strive for the future.

I wanna be more organized you see, putting everything on one profile is a bit much, especially if you guys are more interested in one thing from me but I don't post it as much.
So I took into consideration these things and made separate profiles for those things!
This account will become my adopt/design account!
I'll be posting designs I make, including my species on here as well ^^ (the old art I posted here will all be moved to another folder, I won't be deleting it, no worries!)
My roleplaying/personal character account:

2018 was sure a tough year but I'm happy to still be here making art and doing the things I still have some passion for.

I also have to get new insurance...
these winter months are always hard for me and I'm honestly scared I might not make rent this month
I can't take my more comms until my current queue is done, so I'm gonna be making more adopts...I hope you guys will like them
was thinking about making some mal'var and rpg sergals maybe even an imukai ^^

Recommend Me Some Horror Movies!
Posted 7 years agoMy husband and I are going to be spending a few days together starting Monday and we have always wanted a scary movie marathon so there's no better time than now for it!
Keep in mind I said horror, not pertaining to gore-fest movies - I find them boring, unintelligently written and lacking in story. Also as a writer what I like to derive from horror films and thrillers is suspense and the potential of being afraid as it's EXTREMELY hard to scare me.
If you guys have any recommendations, lemme know! I need some spoops!
If I end up really liking the movies you suggest there's a gift in it for you later on in the week as a thank you! Surprise! ^^

update to the update (bad news...)
Posted 7 years agoI've got about a month to get things together finance-wise... my grandmother is passing away after an extremely long and stressful fight with diverticulitis ...
we will be headed to texas earlier than planned next month to not only retrieve my cat and belongings I was unable to take with me at the time, but I truly think this is the last time I will ever see my grandmother
she has struggled with this for over three years and it's just slowly worn her away...
she was always a strong soul and to hear her talking about passing away is something I'd never thought I'd hear out of her mouth...
My mother has been by her side day and night with trips to the ER frequenting as a normal day routine now...I'm seriously torn to pieces over this
I will be working three times as hard now to get the funds I need to go see her...
it's just one of those things you don't think about...

Between Comms (Life Update)

Xorall is coming back from the army really soon. ^^ I really have missed him...he was the one who got me here to California t start over again in a new life, and I can't thank him enough for his complete selflessness and support throughout the last few months.
It's been hard, but I promised I wouldn't let him down, and soon enough we will be heading back to Texas either next month or the month after to go and pick up Crowley, my kitty cat who I unfortunately had to leave behind ...
I told myself to focus on things while I could, I didn't really have the time or the energy to muscle up and tell you guys what was going on in my life as it's been hectic due to family problems and health issues to life-threatening situations as well. It's been very overwhelming and I'm looking to deal with it any way I can, but I felt it wasn't the time to talk about it.
You guys also don't know but one of the things I've been dealing with is I'm without my baby boy Bo (my dog) for the last three months...the apartment here decided to revoke pets and unless you were grandfathered in, you couldn't keep your pets. I have a friend nice enough to take care of him for me so far, but I need him back in my life.
We plan to move once my friend comes back, this way we can have my babies back <3 I'm so happy...
Also I'm going back to get my car, we weren't able to bring it last time as it was still being repaired.
But to do this I need to focus on bills and getting the money to move into the new place. I'm estimating around $7 - 800 would suffice for not only the move in, but the down payment on the pets plus the gas money to get back from Texas as it was a 26 hour drive last time.
I have about two months to do this, I'm going to focus hard on both comms and this at the same time, I've felt I've missed a huge part o me since I've been alone in the home by myself for a while, and without my fur babies it's been hard...
I can't wait to have them back and I'm gonna do anything and everything I can to make it happen.
I want to thank you guys yet again for supporting me as well, continuing this journey with me and I hope I continue to surprise and satisfy you with my art, as I'm trying harder each time I put something else out. ^^ I'm still learning what kind of style I want to do, and it's been quite the adventure getting here from square one.

Xorall is coming back from the army really soon. ^^ I really have missed him...he was the one who got me here to California t start over again in a new life, and I can't thank him enough for his complete selflessness and support throughout the last few months.It's been hard, but I promised I wouldn't let him down, and soon enough we will be heading back to Texas either next month or the month after to go and pick up Crowley, my kitty cat who I unfortunately had to leave behind ...
I told myself to focus on things while I could, I didn't really have the time or the energy to muscle up and tell you guys what was going on in my life as it's been hectic due to family problems and health issues to life-threatening situations as well. It's been very overwhelming and I'm looking to deal with it any way I can, but I felt it wasn't the time to talk about it.
You guys also don't know but one of the things I've been dealing with is I'm without my baby boy Bo (my dog) for the last three months...the apartment here decided to revoke pets and unless you were grandfathered in, you couldn't keep your pets. I have a friend nice enough to take care of him for me so far, but I need him back in my life.
We plan to move once my friend comes back, this way we can have my babies back <3 I'm so happy...
Also I'm going back to get my car, we weren't able to bring it last time as it was still being repaired.
But to do this I need to focus on bills and getting the money to move into the new place. I'm estimating around $7 - 800 would suffice for not only the move in, but the down payment on the pets plus the gas money to get back from Texas as it was a 26 hour drive last time.
