Posted a year agoCurrently I am out of a job and moving my things to live with my parents who are becoming old and need my help. Financially I will still have to depend on myself for certain things, but they will make sure I have a roof over my head but I still have to pay the bills. I have a lot of health issues at the moment and I can’t sustain even part time until I get past them.
It’s at this time I would like to address certain things…like claiming adopts or such and getting no payments or replies for days upon end. My longest wait without communication was two weeks.
Please, be considerate of people in my situation as well as others when you claim something, it puts us behind on bills and honestly upsets me personally because I don’t like sitting down for countless hours upon end if I can spare it between my busy life only to have someone not pay and the designs to sit there when someone else might possibly want them.
I hope I don’t sound absurd but my mental isn’t very good through all the struggling the last few months and I just wanna put it here I might be moving to a zero tolerance TOS with a public blacklist since my work is my life until otherwise.
I used to accept a one time non payment but now I might not even do that anymore…
If you claim a design and no longer want it please just tell the artist. It would be more beneficial that way so we can put it out again because not everyone asks who wants something after they see it taken.
I appreciate those who read this, please let me know if there are better steps to prevent this sort of thing or a better way to make sales a more dependable final thing…maybe a ko-fi link for payment? I don’t know.

I'm currently out of a job because of my health and FMLA will no longer support me and I had to put in my two week's at work and cannot access my 401k until a month's time...
if you guys could look at my open adopts and maybe consider commissioning me for customs or whatnot (please note the turnaround time will be 1-2 month because of my health and my parents needing help around the house + moving in a few days because the apartment is too expensive...)
I still have a $150 car bill to pay as well, I would really appreciate any help at all, I'm starting to get a bit stressed out

Posted a year agoI'm in need of funds, I'm not in a good spot right now because my work has pretty much let me go - and my dog needs some help getting to the vet, I've been unable to do much because I been taking care of my dad alongside doing work on a house, my dad just came back from removing his skin cancer (it was his second visit), and he is recovering currently at home, so I am trying to do what I can here, when I can
I'm sorry for the lack of communication, I know I owe some people some things, and please believe me I am doing what I can when I have free time, after getting out of my bind with my medical condition to the point my job doesn't give me hours anymore to alongside trying to take care of my mental health as well, it's been more than just a struggle. I'll be moving in with my parents in August, they are struggling with things and helping them build the house has been #1 prio for me as of late...I'm sorry I've let everyone down so far, I'm completely overwhelmed. I can barely take care of myself, I've gained quite a bit of weight from stress, I'm physically and mentally exhausted and it's really hard to just keep talking sometimes but I have to.
I don't want to give anyone half assed work either, so when I work on things I know it might take me some time because of everything, but I want to give a good quality...I've enjoyed coming back into art but as of what's happening around me at the moment I'm sad I can't focus on it solely like I did in the previous months...
I've been trying to fit in artwork through my discord and streams alongside still keeping up with my friends and playing games with them as well as trying to maintain what feels to me a dying relationship with my partner, it's just a lot. Like, a lot a lot, and I can't express to you how I'm running on fumes right now and feel I have failed everyone in the long run...

I had another medical flareup, which doesn't ultimately allow me to work outside the house without sending me to urgent care for emergency steroid shots
I'm needing about $500 more, and my rent is due on the 3rd...I am asking for a bit of extra help here I'm sorry... Even a boost would help a ton.
I am currently looking for other work and trying to get my medical needs under control - it's been a lot of trial and error the last few months, I'm kind of overwhelmed.
If you guys could take a look at my open adopts I would really appreciate it - I'm also opening customs at this time on this base: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/56649201/ (this is an rng mystery adoptable link, but I'm taking full customs now as well)
The starting price is $65, comes with eye refs, nsfw, clothed and unclothed. If you would like an additional form on that base like I did for the Lotus adopt, it would be +$25, any alternate outfits are +$15, and any extras like familiars, weapons, etc will be additional +$15. You can choose genders based on female, male, androgenous, and the species are limited to humanoids ( can attempt anthro?). I can change the feet to hooves, or paws at this time, but if you'd like something else foot-wise, please let me know and I can see what I can work with.
Comms are opened for a limited time, these come completely freehanded ofc, I am offering busts and fullbodies. I am open to reference sheets as well. I have different styles, and you can pick which one you like more.

This isn't a total problem, but I would like to have certain accounts for certain things...specifically going to address the NSFW artwork - actual nsfw artwork, not just tasteful nudity/nsfw bits here and there on a design.
I've decided to open up to doing these pieces again, but I would like to keep it separate from this account! I feel an account to host my commissions/custom work psycholyco has been rejected for a while - and I want to have people be able to access the things they are looking for and not so much being swamped with everything else. ;; / (omg it's literally been like 3 years since I posted on that account oops)
So! Without further ado, from today on, I will be posting all of my designs/adoptables on this account! (the only thing I will crosspost here will be customs!)

Posted a year agoright now I’ve been out of work due to my health condition and FMLA is running behind enough to where won’t have it by the time rent is due. It would help if I could make around $300 to help in this, so I am open to some ideas.
I already am in the process of working on two commissions, but if you guys want one, let me know. I have two free days a week to work on them.
Headshots are $35, Busts are $55. They come colored and shaded.
Custom adopts are starting at $35, and depending on the base used, or any extras you might want, it increases the price.

I don't really socialize as much as I should, and throughout the years I've just lost a lot of people that meant something to me.
I know I've reached out before, but I've backed out of a lot of socializing because I get scared and nervous - mostly because people just tend to slowly leave me for whatever reason...but I want to try again.
I am looking to connect again with others and with art and games as well - I miss being motivated and having fun with other people.

Posted a year agoI am sure currently everyone is struggling with money right now, I am in that situation myself and I know people still desire designs/artwork as either for comfort or inspiration in these times
As an artist on this website, I'm trying to find that happy middleground where my audience can still enjoy their hobbies and afford to do so as well
Right now I am finding it hard to find pricepoints for my work, I haven't taken commissions in a while, but I'm more open to selling design for a bit until I figure out my work situation (I'm currently dealing with a lot of health issues that have kept me from working as much...)
if you guys can tell me around what you think you could afford for my designs, please let me know
so far I have only posted one thing for like $35, but I am trying to keep my designs (unless auction) in the price range of $15-$30
do you think this is doable for most people? I am trying to pay bills and all, and I know I have been inactive here until as of late, so feedback would be amazing and if you have any ideas you'd like me to do/work with I would be open to that as well!

small update on living situation
Posted 2 years agoso I am now living alone, some things happened in the relationship that didn’t make me feel safe at all and unfortunately we couldn’t fix them. I was verbally and emotionally abused, and I had about three or four instances over time that were physical altercations. He has left me with all the bills and refuses to pay for the last month he stayed even though he stayed the entire time. I’m honestly heartbroken after the two years we spent together he would throw me away like I was nothing, and treat me like my feelings didn’t matter in the relationship in general… I’m still trying to figure things out between my job and my emotional state, but I am barely making enough money to support myself. After everything each month that I have to pay for, I’m left with about $200…not including food or gas. So I will be posting adopts more often and at a lower price again, I can’t survive on my own in this inflation without some help.
