I got the job!
Posted 10 years agoI'm beyond ecstatic about getting this job! Orientation is at the end of this week or the beginning of next week! Gotta wait for the background test to come back, but then I'll have a job! I'm excited!
Job Interview
Posted 10 years agoAfter three months of being jobless and in turn forcing my fiance to be the breadwinner and paying all the bills, fate has thrown me a bone. I have a job interview at Family Fare in the next town over, here's for hoping that it goes well! I'm only slightly nervous, but not as much as I have been. Wish me luck and I will let you know how it goes!

50 Shades of Opinions.
Posted 10 years agoYa know, I may lose watchers for this, but I feel this needs to be said.
Since the trailer for 50 Shades has come out, I have watched and read multiple people bashing it.
Mostly on Facebook by people I know have not read them and are basing things on the trailer.
I don't know how many times this statement has been said, well these two statements...
"Don't Judge a Book by it's Cover!"
and
"The Book is Better than the Movie!"
I get that people are entitled to their own opinions and all of that, but lets think about this for a second.
Look at how most people judge the furry lifestyle without not really knowing anything or anyone in it.
If you aren't willing to give something a chance and still judge it, it is exactly what is wrong with this world.
Personally, I am on the third book and personally, as a writer, it's kinda nice to see a best selling smut book.
I mean, come on, sure there are the small books of smut which are just as fantastic, but they are not set in
modern times.
As a writer, I strive to maybe have a few best selling normal, fantasy books and a best seller smut book. I like reading them, not only for the scenes, but for the story that goes along with them. My fiance always makes fun of me for reading them all the time, but I can sometimes see past all the sex to the story line and that is one of my favorite parts.
Keep an open mind about things, because think of the day you decided to be a furry when everyone around you was bashing it. Think of the first time you informed a family member or your significant other that you were a furry. What was their reaction? How'd it make you feel? By keeping an open mind, we learn to accept others and things for who or what they are.

Posted 10 years agoHello, my name is Selena and I am a twenty one year old Giant Panda. My parents had been trying for years and were finally able to have their first child which was me. They lived at a local zoo, but it was already overcrowded and the humans came up with a plan that would break my parent's hearts. When I was born, scientists took me away from my mother to run tests and experiments on me, trying to see if they could successfully blend two creatures of an opposite species. Things didn't go their way when they tried to blend me with a snake, who I later l later learned was named Ena while I was Sel. They only got as far as having the eyes and tongue of a snake.
I enjoy meeting people, dressing up, trying new foods and traveling.
I dislike scientists, mean people, winter, and my fur getting dirty.
I am curious about a lot of things, most things could wind up with me in quite a bit of trouble.
My Ouroboros snake tattoo represents my love of snakes and how life is on going, the body may die but the memories last forever.

Posted 10 years agoEver feel like your'e losing everyone with each day passing?
I do...one of my greatest fucking fears coming to life and
I just can deal with it. It's two in the morning, just got into
an argument with one of my closest and best friends on this planet.
It makes me realize how few people i have in my life right now.
I have my fiance and his family, my grandparents and friends scattered
all over the United States who I don't get to see or barely get to talk to.
If this is what being an adult is all about, just take it back.
Sorry for the depressing post...just needed to rant and it seems the
only way to get this off my chest is on a blog...
Should I probably go back to a counselor? More than likely, but
pretty difficult to do with not a lot of money and all that.
Again, sorry...just needed to do this. Today is a Special Day!
Posted 10 years agoToday is my best friend and fiance's birthday, he was born 23 years ago at 2:19 in the morning during a snow storm. Though I can't give him much with the lack of money, I'm just so happy that I am here to actually celebrate it with him. I did make him a birthday card, the millennium puzzle from Yu-Gi-Oh and I'm making him a Blue Velvet cake either tomorrow or Monday.Help a friend!

So one of my best friends 
is in some desperate need of some love on her page! Whether it is people sending her their thoughts or prayers or having her do commissions for money. This is her favorite thing to do and her only way to bring in an income and help out. It would help her pay rent and phone bills, which as a fair percentage of us know, is not a cheap thing. So, please head over to her page and have her do some work for you! She is absolutely amazing and a wonderful artist!

Posted 11 years agoGot up, prettied myself up, went to do two picture up for Yu-Gi-Oh cards and these adorable high heel shoes. Spencer and I stopped at McDonalds and won a free meal for a random thing they have going on, so that was pretty amazing. Came home and modified a ribbon onto a cute shirt/dress that I have. It really has been a great day and I hope there are more days like this to come. About Me

Posted 11 years agoSo I am fairly new to this whole site and all of it's inner workings.
For right now, I do not do anything involving money for the simple fact that I'm jobless. I'm always looking for someone to do awesome drawings for me and I doodle or draw a little bit as well. I'm not super fantastic or anything, but it can be pretty fun! I'm also looking for new friends!
