Hellos!
Last week I got my "final verdict" for my study, but sadly since I missed part of the needed credits to continue, I have been turned down by the board of examiners to proceed with the study course.
I can't say I'm surprised with their decision, but it doesn't make it any less painful. (I had study delays due to physical and mental health problems)
I've taken a couple of days (got the message on Thursday last week) to clear my head a bit and let myself grief the loss of the study, but tomorrow I'll hopefully be back to work again.
Just want to give a heads up that I might be a little slower this week and maybe next week while I process it completely and discuss it with my therapist, but I'll do my best to get back on track ASAP! (Especially since I'll lose my study funding, so less money over all)
On the other hand, since I will not be studying anymore starting September, I will likely look into starting either a Patreon or Ko-Fi Gold subscription.
I will be working on the details and tiers throughout the summer, but it'll likely come! So that's something to look forward to :)

Sadly I'm facing more art delays currently since I've been having some trouble with dizziness over the past week...
I'm taking some time to rest since it's quite hard to focus on drawing when my head feels like it's continuously swaying, but hopefully I'll be back in action next week!
I'm also going to try to work on some Artfight pieces this month, as it's a good time to experiment on new styles, shading and so forth, but I'll still try my best to prioritise the commission work over Artfight.

Been feeling a bit under the weather this week so I'm not working on owed work a lot currently.
Have been tested for COVID, luckily it's negative, so it's just the common cold most likely... doesn't make it less annoying though!

Tomorrow I'll be doing an icon commissions only opening through my new site!
Going to work a bit differently from how I usually take commissions, but hopefully it'll work out just fine.
How will it work?
- Forms will open on my site tomorrow (Sunday) at 9:00PM CEST
- Will not be first come, first serve
- Forms will remain open for several days, after the forms close I'll pick the ones I'll take and message those clients
I'm doing it like this so I can also give late-comers a chance at a commission from me!
Slots will be roughly like this:
- 4x wiggle icon slot
- 2x static icon slot
- 2x blinking icon slot

💙💚💛💜Finishing Commissions + Break

I'm going to be spending the next 2 weeks or so on completing my queue, which currently only consists of the wiggle icon batch.
After those are all completed and sent out I'll be taking a short break in which I'll be focusing on another project for a bit.
In this break I'll also be reworking my TOS and pricelist.
Prices will switch from the USD ($) currency to EUR (€), and the prices will likely go up a little bit too.
Terms of service will need some adaption due to this and I also just have to look over it again since it's been a hot minute since I've updated it.
Once my break is done and the TOS and prices are updated, I'll probably be opening for commissions again!
I'm still debating on whether I want to take a mixture of different commission types, or continue my singular commission type batches... probably the former, but we'll see.

Posted 4 years agoCurrently my home situation is rather stressful and it's making my depression peak again.
I've also actually gotten a diagnosis on it now and it turns out I have moderate to severe depression, no medication for now though.
I'll try to work on art still, but things are just going to be slow right now...
1000x apologies to my commissioners.
Once the wiggles and YCH are done, I'll be taking some weeks off to unwind a bit.
I'll also be taking that time to rework my TOS and pricelist, perhaps also my website as I hate the way it looks currently.

This week:
- Color and send out all wiggle icons from batch 1. (Wed/Thu/Fri) - DONE
- Start on linework for Pandsky's YCH piece. (Fri) - Moved to next week.
Next week:
- Finish linework for Pandsky's YCH piece + block out colors.
- Sketch out at least 50% of wiggle icon batch 2. All if possible.

Hello!
Happy new year to all of you, let's hope it's heaps better than 2020 was...
I'm back in action to finish my commissions and will be revising my prices this month.
I hope to be opening again for commissions in February, once all the other commissions have been completed and send out.
Still working on my shoulder injury, which is unfortunately still tormenting me... but it'll heal, eventually. I'm staying hopeful.
Also still working through my depression, so things might still move a bit slow, but I'm trying my best to get back on track with everything ASAP!!
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas (even with restrictions) and enjoyed all the good food and/or presents etc. ^_^ ♥
Here's to 2021, a year of hope and light at the end of a looooooong tunnel.
Also, like each year, the 2020 content will be going to the scraps to make place for the 2021 content!

Hello,
I figured it's time for me to make a journal on this topic so everyone's aware of the situation.
At the start of October this year I got diagnosed with Tendonitis in my shoulder (tendon inflammation), I've since had anti-inflammatory drugs and am going to the physiotherapist almost weekly to get that sorted out. As a result of that injury, I had to stop doing my university work and my other artwork too, as well as dropping other hobbies for the time being.
This caused my mental health to plummet completely, destroying what little happiness and motivation I had mustered this year, essentially throwing me into a mental burn out.
I've gone to a therapist in our doctor's clinic 2 weeks ago and turns out I've got depression (not surprised), and we're now working through fixing that on top of still healing the shoulder.
My motivation and energy levels are still really low, but I'm slowly picking up art again, but it'll take a little while until I'm back to my full workflow.
I do want to apologize to my clients for the delays they're facing currently, but I hope they understand.
I do not want to deliver an art product to my clients that I'm not happy with and that has subpar quality, so while it may take longer for you to receive your piece, I'll still do my utmost best to deliver the best quality I can muster!

Hi!
I want to post a quick reminder to those that've ordered a wiggle icon from me in the last opening and are part of the 2nd group.
The invoices for these will go out on Saturday (31st of Oct!). Please make sure to keep an eye on your PayPal/email.
Also another update: My shoulder injury is still not healed, but I've been going to a physiotherapist for the past 3 weeks to help with that. It's still going to be several weeks until I can work full speed again, though.
I can work a max of 1 to 2 hrs currently, but I'll try my best to still get through the commissions.
My apologies for any delays, but I hope you understand why!
