I've been actively writing and editing my first book!!! Take a peek at my latest summery!

Aridenia is a wasteland ahead of its time - electric cars, easily processed food, ready access to advanced medical care with little to no access to water and a brutal sun. Alonna questioned endlessly if there could ever be anything beyond the synthetic bubble - another reality where life and love was real. Somewhere beyond the fake plants and indentured servitude to her remaining family. With Rory’s abrupt and bizarre appearance, she begins to see a whole new world that she once could have only dreamed up in her sketchbook. Being here at FC has really got me inspired! I really want to make a few tails from fabric and branch out from yarn tails (as they take so much longer to make) and I really want to make a fursuit as an African wild dog. ^^

In case anyone wanted to know...

I have not said anything on FA for so long! I've been so busy and so distracted!
I only have one yarn tail left to finish, the sweet little bunneh tail who has been waiting for an extremely long time, and I am sorry sorry it has been so long. I will force myself to put everything aside and finish his tail!!!!

Then after that.....

I don't think I'm going to make any tails anymore. I might make some for me, for fun. But it doesn't seems like people really care for my work and that's fine. So, I guess my point it, I've got one tail to do, then I'm done. I may or may not do anything else on FA and that is ok in my book.

No one has really been asking for me to make them anything but I thought I might open back up. For the time being, I'll be working from home and most of what I do is waiting around for people to call, so that would leave me a lot of time to work on tails. I only have one project in the wings waiting to be finished, but that is about it. I don't want to do any monster projects again, just little/basic tails. If no one wants anything then maybe I'll just make random tails that pop into my mind.

So, any thoughts on that? ^^

Giant tails are done and happily on their way to their new owners. It's always hard to put all your heart and soul into something and just when you've become proud of your work you send them away. I'll miss that giant sofa tail but I know it will be much loved. And it was a stress and a joy.

Bunneh tail is next! MUCH smaller but still a little challenge to make it stand up. Any suggestions?

I am so sore from doing my very first 5k color run yesterday. It was so extremely fun but now my legs and hips are killing me! I am the complete opposite of a pro runner but the 5k was something extremely fun and I recommend it to everyone pros and beginners alike.

However, the good news is, because my legs are sore I don't wanna move around too much; but my arms are fine there will be a lot of tail work done today! So, keep an eye out for Swirly tail pictures today! There will be a lot of blending colors.

Really, what a weekend.
I've been working on that big ol' tail all weekend, but for the most part it is done ^^
I just need to fill in some thin spots and treat it but then it will be completely finished!
Next on my list is Swirly's tail. That tail is also a little longer then what I normally do and the pattern will take more attention but the good news is that it is much shorter "fur" so it will be much faster to brush out. I'm working on the top part because sadly I have not gotten the olive yarn yet >.< I was hoping to get it last Friday but that wasn't the case. Hopefully I'll get it sometime this week. Until then, I'll just work with what I have.

Just want to update some ETAs for the work orders I have .......

All I could think about, dream about, was tails!
I dreamed about how awesome painted cat tail is going to look today all finished! How I'm going to blend all the colors to make the right match for Swirly's tail? In what way can I shape the base for bunneh to where it's the right shape and stays upwards?
Oh the thoughts!!!
Finally, what will I go on to create after this? Nothing? I'm unsure. But I'm sure excited about what I've got right now ^^

I have been working my booty off and am only 1/3 down with that tail!
At this rate it'll never get done >.<
But my new job starts on the 19th of this month. I plan to for sure have it done by then!!!

My eyes are finally ready for the abuse that is brushing yarn.
So I have some ETCs that I hope to keep to!!!

Painted cat etc: April 30th
Swirly tail etc: May 31st
Bunneh tail etc: June 15th

These are just the times I hope to have them finished and are subject to change.
Once all jobs are done I might open again for commissions.

So yesterday I got LASIK and my vision has been changing drastically. This is totally awesome because I won't be wearing glasses anymore (I have been wearing them since I was in first grade) and it's a really exciting time in my life ^^

However!!! I have to take really good care of my eyes for the next few months. So, yarn tail making is going to slow. Good news is that I have eye sheild so I can still at least work, but only short periods at a time. I will not be taking commissions and will be focusing all my efforts on the three tails I have to finish.

No worries, tails will get done and then once all three are finished I might open up commissions again!
