So I got off my tush and finally watched it. I really liked it, of course. Food fascinates me :3
I recommend it to all the cheffies out there who havn't seen it.

I wish I could do recipes like that all the time, all the really elegant fancy ones in large portions (I honestly hate 'fine cuisine' when they charge an arm and a leg for a tiny little morsel of food, grr) And I wish I could come up with my own things on a grander scale rather than just this easy mix and match thing that I do.
If I had the money to afford the supplies and the ingredients, and if I had the time and a better working environment, I would be so so happy. Just me and the food and no worries.

Who knows, maybe one day I'll find a way to get into a culinary college. I hope I can learn and be a cook somewhere, I really do. ):

Hey, anyone out there got a good recipe with basil in it? Basil is actually my favorite ingredient because of it's strong yet delicate and soothing taste. I make goat cheese and basil sandwiches for crying out loud. I just love it. So, does anyone here have anything for me to try out? My mom bought a nice fresh batch of basil and I'm going to go grocery shopping this weekend. I wanna cook somethin good ;3

Anyone got some good Thanksgiving recipes? I'm trying to avoid the stereotype campell's green bean casserole this year. This year I wont get to have Thanksgiving with my family since we all kinda seperated, but I'm going with just my mom to a sort of large Thanksgiving get-together potluck. This would be the first time I'd bring something of my own to a potluck for once, and I want to wow everyone D:

And no quiche, EVERYONE brings quiche to a potluck. (even if it is super yummylicious)

I'm gonna make some green tea cookies today!

Problem is we have everything but baking soda, so I gotta go to the store to buy ONE thing. I hate doing that. >___<
