For awhile now I have been in a funk...both a lack of inspiration for art and a general lack of inspiration to do anything. Winter months for me are always tough though. *raises hand and shakes it at the sun* However, I did get a drawing tablet for Christmas from my husband (YAY!) and with the real possibility of moving soon I am a bit exicted. :D Being someplace I feel better about I think will help get me up and going again, So again, I'm sorry about no real updates, and no real drawings, but hopefully I'll feel like drawing soon.

Going to be starting to draw some more backgrounds, feeling kind of inspired so may also post up some drawings of some characters I've been making for a game i would love to make, and then even if i dont its at least giving me inspiration.

On another note I will have more time on my hands since i am apparently down to working 2 days a week....which is good and bad at the same time. makes it hard to save up and pay bills, but oh wells.

Also 1 month from now ill be heading back to Wisconsin to get married :D super happy bout that.

Sorry its been so long since I've posted anything up or even wrote a journal. :/ been working 5 days a week now that just seems to drain the life out of me, so i havent felt much like drawing. Im hoping that soon ill have a lil more time to get back in the groove of it. Though with the weather already in the 70s i may just lay out in the sun in my free time ;p lol I hope ya'll are doing good!

Just got back from a trip to Wisconsin. Stayed with my older sister and then the rest of my family (minus my brother) plus my best friend drove down. We went bridal shopping and i actually had a blast trying on dresses :D Not to mention i am super excited I found my dress!! Its super cute, now i just have to finish making all the other plans for the wedding >.< AAARGH so much left to do!!!

Well since it is my favorite season and since its actually cooled down a bit and it finally feels like fall (a lil bit anyways) I figured I'd open up Halloween and Fall themed requests. So let me know if ya wanna be dressed up as something or if ya just want some sort of autumn activity.

Im so excited, I got a new phone!!! its not that im super excited about the phone itself, but also just the fact me and him getting a family plan together. It really means this is all happening, we really are becoming a family and that really makes me incredibly happy. :) though the phone makes me happy too. its blue and its a smart phone and yeah its pretty awesome ^.^

Talked to my mom the other day and the subject of my brother came up, by the sounds of it hes in some deep shit. *sigh* he hasnt been making the payments on his car and is going to be going to small claims court and will probably loose his car. Not to mention he may have lost his apartment, ma says hes been really sketchy when she asks if she could stop by there when shes down there. not terribly long ago mom helped him pay off his back payments for his cable/internet. Makes me really worried about him, especially since he hasn't really talked to anyone about this...none of us know whats really going on with him, most of what we know is speculation.

very slowly been working on a couple pieces of art, yeah i know i havent really posted anything recently. Just havent been motivated to do art for the most part, though have inked and colored some things and am trying to make them look right and add all the extra lil stuffs. otherwise been working and wishing it would freakin' rain...well did get a lil yesterday (aka like 5 minutes >.< ) There were power outages and fires in a town real near by, heard the sirens all day yesterday off and on. I hate walking on the grass and hear it crunch cause its that dead :( I miss the greenery of the north *sigh* at least its supposed to only be mid 80s today *crosses fingers*

Found out where we are having the ceremony, have a couple options still open for reception places :/ but figured out who im having make the cake, what im doing for favors and what colors i want and the general theme of the wedding, the actual date for the wedding, i feel pretty good about this trip. :) but have to say i do miss my mate quite a bit, and will be happy to return to him on Sunday.

and i get to go visit ma family :) Its gunna be a week full of emotions >.<

anyways also need to get a new sketch book, currently have one that is just plain paper like youd use to print on. really would love to get my hands on something thicker and maybe textured...or hell even some really large paper or large colored paper, would really like to get back into using some of the stuff i did while i was in art school. I miss those classes some days... tedious but fun. hopefully when i return ill be able to post up some of my traditional pieces. and be able to create some more.

Going on a lil vacation, lol though technically it will probably not be very relaxing at all >.< Going to be up in Wisconsin for a week going over wedding plans. gunna be searching out the perfect outside location and meeting with photographers and florists, etc. thankfully (maybe...) my mom will be helping me out and going with me :)

*sigh* I've arranged to go up to Wisconsin to visit my family and make wedding arrangements. I emailed my older sister to let her know when id be back in the state. So she lets me know she has prior arrangements so and how she feels bad for our mom cause she has to drive a lot and such to pick me up from the airport and how it costs alot to drive down there. I dont respond to the email cause im not really sure how to to be honest. A few days later I get a second email from her again stating how she wished she could see me while i was up and how she thought id be coming up earlier in the week, etc. Then she goes on to say again about mom not having money and such and then goes on to call our younger sister a bitch because she only told some of our family she is going on a mission trip to alaska and because mom will probably end up paying the difference. I really dont know what to say to her, but to be honest its really kind of disheartening, here i am just wanting to go home for a week on to plan something that is supposed to be a joyous occasion and a month before i even leave its leaving me wondering why she needs to make me upset. I know she is jealous that I'm getting married first, and that mom has supported me while i was living out of state, and that mom is supporting my younger sister a bit, I wonder if there are other reasons she is so spiteful...I feel like i should respond to her email but i dont know how or if i should because i dont like confrontation at all and i do not really want her angry at me, but i feel like i should express some of this to her...i dunno...*sigh* Hopefully when i talk to my mom tomorrow she'll be able to kind of help me figure it out....
