When I was a kid my "fairy" name was Lillianna Rosethorn, so when I married
tylerdavasel I took his character's last name and shortened my fav other name to Lillie.

Time and time again I see journals on here from artists who have hit tough times and are asking for a little monetary assistance, my husband included. Times are really tough out there right now, especially for artists. So what I was thinking of, is some of the artists of FA pitching in an art piece, 52 to be exact. I was thinking of making a playing card deck created by FA artists, and we could sell them both online and at cons and create a fund to help out Furry artists who are having tough times. What do you guys think? Am I an idealist? Or do you maybe think this could be done?

General | Posted 16 years agoOkay, I'm sorry, but I MUST make a comment about some of the more society impared people who read my husband TylerDavasel's comic McIntots. If you have a character question or CONSTRUCTIVE critisism? Feel free to ask. However, if something he drew is not that great, why the HELL are you going to go out of your way to point it out??? If the background isn't as detailed as YOU would like, then don't bother reading. You HAVE that option you know. No one is FORCING you to read this comic. Also, people ask questions like "wtf, why did the scene rapidly change?" please PLEASE go back and read pages you might have missed first, because it makes artists feel like you don't even read the comic. So please, if you have a real question or a decent comment, go for it. But if you are going to pretty much insult his art, or ask an already answered question, at least have the manners to send it in a note so that the artist doesn't get so embarrassed that they consider quitting the f-ing comic.

Best Birthday EVAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!
General | Posted 17 years agoOkay, so Ty-kun and I woke up early, and went to Movie Tavern (my fave place!) and saw Coraline which was sooooooooo awesome. and then we met my mom who took me clothes shopping. I got 3 blouses, a pair of jeans, and some langerie >.<
Then Ty-kun and I went to the woodlands mall and walked around my fave stores (I got an acid green hair flower to go with one of my new blouses) and then I changed into my new clothes and we went an hour early to Red Lobster to make sure that we could get a table for 14 people. They said it would be about an hour and a half. Well, everyone started to get there around 7, and my mom brought balloons to embarrass me lol. That didn't work, I ended up standing by the door holding the balloons like a lil kid and grinning like a fool because everyone came ^.^
My mom and dad, my oldest brother and his wife with two of their kids, my older brother, my aunt and uncle from birth dad's side, my two best friends, and my husband Ty-kun ^.^ I got tons of gifts (which I didn't expect) and everyone got along and had a great time, at the end my dad told the guy to give him the check and he paid for everyone. My friends were giggling about how my brothers smelled good, and then everyone went home.
As Ty-kun and I were in the car driving home, I had a hard time staying awake. I was so happy and the car was warm lol. When we got home, Ty-kun fixed the bed for me and I passed out, waking up at noon today. So all in all, one of the best birthdays ever.

I met alot of great people and even finally found my own art style that Ty-Kun won't shut up about lol. So to all of those I met, yay and I hope to see you again! I don't like games, I don't like wasting my time, so if you actually WANT to be my friend, then please do so. But if I'm annoying to you, or you just plain do NOT like me, then please don't invite me to shit. I know that the one who actually did the inviting is the only one is actually my real friend, but come on, we are not in high school. You are perfectly capable of saying "well, actually please don't invite her, because we all really don't like her and it would kinda make us all uncomfortable." I'm not THAT sensitive, if I'm not wanted, I don't go, simple. But if you thought you were trying to spare my feelings, you failed. How can I not get the hint that I am not wanted, when somehow I keep ending up in a room with only the one friend? How can I not get the hint when I SEE that everyone has only had one or two drinks, but they are all acting as if they had drank a keg. Note, you are BAD actors btw.
But most of all, next time you get the urge to attempt to spare my feelings to my face but not behind my back, please don't. The friend the we happen to share is the one who is getting hurt. Not me. She is the one who cried last night. She is the one who is miserable, she cares about me AND all of you, even if you do act like self centered jerks. So maybe if you feel like venting about me, go elsewhere okay? Because you will lose her friendship and she may resent ME for losing you. She is the one who cried last night. She is the one who is miserable, she cares about me AND all of you, even if you do act like self centered jerks. General | Posted 17 years agoOkay, so for those of you who don't know, TylerDavasel and I live in south east Texas and were hit by Ike. Luckily we had no damage, but unfortunately we did lose power, that was last Friday. We just got power back on today. Here in our town it is like a third world country. We have curfew at 9pm and if you break it without a good excuse, you either get put into jail or recieve a $1,000 fine. The only stores that are open to get supplies (i.e. food, water, ice) are drive thru only and they will only sell you what they think you need. Gas is an hour wait and you can only get 5 gallons at a time. It's nuts. Luckily Ty-Kun and I found a town nearby that no one seemed to realize was well stocked and functioning normally, so we went and stocked up, well. But being in the dark, and alone while Ty-Kun went to work was depressing. At night I would sit by my window with a flashlight and just watch the dark. It was pretty lonely. So for all of those who have had power, you lucky bastards, and for those who still don't have power, I hope you remember that you are not alone in the dark.
