7 months huh. Been a hot minute.

I'm still alive. Emotionally I've been somewhat stable the last 4ish weeks, doc put me on new meds for both depression/mood and migraine prevention.
Still suffering from the odd nightmare about mom and its been a year now, but I've been able to...cope better with the grief, though I still have my moments where the reality her being gone just crushes me. I suppose it will be like that for a while yet. Healing has been a process that I honestly was not─and still ain't ready for. I know that a lot of how I feel has culminated into one mass that I am still sorting out. Feelings of wanting her back, being thankful she's not suffering, feeling anger over things that she said that I wont ever get resolution for, guilt for how I felt and reacted the last night she was alive and resentment over being left to pick up a huge mess that she left behind due to her slight hoarding tendencies─then add in the 5 deaths following hers... it became a lot to bare. Almost too much.

But I'm alive. The grief and depression didn't kill me, even if I felt like it would.

I still have no idea if─or when I will return to this account in full. A lot of memories─both good and bad─that I'm just not ready to return to yet.
I have been hunkering down on a fresh account, but still not ready to reveal it yet as I'm still trying to figure things out and rediscover who I am.

Last journal was 4 months ago, apparently.

Had a cousin pass away literally 3 days before moms birthday (and the day we buried her ashes). Everyone seemingly forgot to ask me to be there when he was buried. Fun.
Still having nightmares about mom. Fucked up my back somehow, have an app tomorrow to figure that out. Bills suck, being an adult sucks. So I guess nothin new on that run.

The future?
I have no idea what that entails for this account. Things that were talked about will probably be put on the backburner. Be mostly offline working on work I've already been paid for, but those people have me on discord/twitter/bsky so updates can be done that way.
1300+ people have watched me, and I thank every single one of those people for doing so. None of you know how much it means to me that that many people have enjoyed my work, but as it stands, I don't know if I can return to my former self art wise at this time. The burn out I experienced while taking care of my mother impacted me far, far deeper than I realized, and I think just... maybe a clean slate might help me heal.

Characters I own will still be owned by me obviously, but activity might become absolute-zero on this account for an... undetermined amount of time. I might still float around on FA though, so if I choose to go to a new account and you spot me, I'll welcome the activity~

Went out to pick up moms ashes at 11am. Car had a malfunction and didnt get back till like, 7pm.
Thank fuck my dad was able to spare time, though it ended up costing him 140 bucks as it turns out that it wasn't the starter, but the ignition switch that was bad. So I guess I have a spare starter?

Also it's... surreal to have moms ashes back.
Still can't believe she's gone.

short of it: my mothers health isn't really improving, so kind of need to be at home to help her.

Its one reason why I've been pretty much dead on this site, between dealing with covid and the lockdowns that came with it, depression and trying to get my own health better, helping my mother with her health and having to keep up with my job, I've had no energy to keep up with online stuff (though I've tried to as much as I can) outside of a few discord groups.

Guess I'll just see how this goes...

Jfc, I didn't realize that I had been watching almost 600 people, and well over half had been inactive/poofed for over a year.

Ended up nuking all my inbox (outside of notes and watchers) to try and freshen up my space.
Works kept me busy, so that's (mostly) why I've been AWOL from this site.

I'm extremely worn out due to RL bullshit from the management where I live, helping mother with her health issues and so on.
I have a job now and that also drains my energy when I actually get hours.

I'm not entirely sure how I can really go about this, there is so much I want to say but I am unsure how to exactly say it.
Life has been tough on not only me, but my fiance during this last week and a half. Right now I am simply trying to find the words to fully explain this situation at hand.
I have had to take several days away from Discord, Skype, Lurking here on FA and so on, just to be able to think about it without feeling like I am going to break down.
Now, while on the whole, he wasn't on Furaffinity, nor was he really a popular artist on DeviantART, we did in fact lose an artist.
He was a close friend to me, and like a brother to my fiance. Due to unknown reasons, he was ailed with needing a double lung transplant all of his life, but I do not think this is the only thing that ended up taking him a day before his birthday, on November 23nd of this year.
He had lost the one man he called his father. The only parent who truly cared for him, and that he had cared about for all of his 27 years of life, to cancer out of the blue.
I whole heartedly believe that this loss is what ended up triggering the events that lead to him passing away a week after his father.

Its hard to write this journal... extremely hard, but I have to do this.
I need to do something to help, even if it is a journal that might go unheeded for several days or more.
Even if its only a dollar, or even just reposting a link to this journal, any support is highly appreciated.
We need to bring both him and his father home so they can be properly taken care of.

Well, I've got a minor leak in my power steering system (which is what I thought it was), so now is a good of a time as any to announce this.

Long story short, I'm jobless again. We were near the end of the contract anyways, and I was told that since I don't have a diploma, I didn't qualify for anything in house that HAD openings. Good news though is, since I had no red marks put against me while I worked there, I can always reapply without having to wait six months.
So off to job hunt again.

At least I got my license, a car that I outright own (even if its a 30 year old bastard of a thunderbird, but I fucking love it ♥), And a new Flatscreen TV which was well needed over a 60 year old Zenith TV. Donated that old one to GoodWill since it still worked, and I am sure someone could get more use out of it.

As a result, I will be opening for commissions, but not till I get some of my backlog cleared out. I will post a journal about that when I do open art commissions.

However, I am going to try something new, and will be open as soon as this journal is posted.
