Posted 10 years agoI love art, it's my passion and ultimate goal to become an artist that everyone enjoys. But I am also a new mother of a beautiful 1 yr old girl. I draw only in my spare time when I don't have household chores, and I do what I can financially to help my family. While I do agree upon trades, these will ONLY be worked on during my downtime between commissions. I try my best to always keep busy, so what little spare time I have is precious.
I will always work on commissions first and will continue to sell.
I post updates on the status of my trades so even if they are taking me a while people know they are being worked on.

Posted 10 years agoWe had a lot of bills due this week and Had to dip into our rent savings for it, as such we simply cannot spare any more to get groceries so Im asking for you all to pleaaaaseee commission me.
My goal is at least $100 for groceries and to replace what was taken from our rent funds. I know Im not fast, by any means, but my daughter is getting older now and her naps are fewer so I have maybe 2-3 hours a day to do art and when my husband has days off I do not work either bc we have little time together. So although Im not fast I will get everything done, including trades and such- though commissions take precedent. Just comment below or note me if interested

Personally I find men delishuzzzz, but unless its like a gay male YCH I seldomly see preposes or clothing auctions featuring men.
Is this something anyone would be interested in? Anyone have any clothing ideas? (( suit and tie are one of mine))

Posted 10 years agoMy husband has been granted a great opportunity to finally run his own mechanic shop. Everything will be his, but the thing is he is going into the business failing. It is in debt, that's why its being given to him. It's his dream and he's confident he can do it, so it's my place to support him, however that means I REALLY need to hold up my end with commission work. Theres no guarantee at the end of the week that he will have enough money left over to pay himself after all the bills until business gets moving again. Which, as anyone is business knows, could be quite a while, debt is no joke.

Posted 10 years agoIdk, this week has just really got me down. Having a lot of personal issues and ontop of that just not really feeling that well. When I try to do commissions they turn out very poorly and I'm just not feeling it this week, I hope you understand. If I do put up any art I will be sure to let you guys know, but it will most likely be personal stuff.

So nude/unclothed version

and undressed/undone version of one of the outfits.

I've already got two done, any suggestions for the third? Give me some ideas, and if you like other peoples ideas let me know!
Ill post the ych once ive gotten all the examples done, and if i get a lot of suggestions or a lot of outfit ideas then maybe Ill do another.

Its all the same basic concept, a human wearing a furry/anthro looking pajama set. The Pjs will be a SIMPLIFIED version of your sona, Im making the suits look hand made and pieced together so some things may be replaced with buttons, spots might be replaced with a uniform stock spot pattern(( like cloth bought in a store)).etc.

And when it comes to lining, I, shamefully, still use my mouse. I have a lot more control with it but the quality of lines is still terribly poor and i hate it.

I get to thinking,'' Ya know what, isn't it time you made a big titty bitty?"
So I do, And make her have big boobles.... and it looks SO WEIRD.
I'm all about them asses usually. And dem hips, noms. So to make a super boob bab just looks.... sooooo flippin odd.
It's not bad, they aren't inflated or massive giganto tits.
They are just bigger then I ever draw on my personal babies.

Posted 11 years agoFor some reason my art looks SOOOOO bad when in a thumbnail, but you look at the actual image and the quality is much more crisp. IDK what Im doing or what I can change to fix this. I feel it really effects wether or not people want to view my art or not. The most recent piece I posted I am so very proud of and no on has hardly given it a glance bc it looks like a smudgey, blurry mess from the thumbnail?
Things I do before I post.
-I usually resize it myself, I draw at 2560 sometimes higher
-I save it as .png
Are either of those the issue? Will Fa resize it itself?
IDK what to do but I think it seriously impacts my ability to get clients as well. When my chibi work gets mor attention then my full pieces it raises concerns.

Posted 11 years agoIn order Im finishing since some project were started while other were in discussion, etc.
1. Anonymous gift: Bg painted, characters flats done 75% finished
2. A lovers Winter Sketch done %20 finished
3. Summertime shallows Fleshed out sketch, Bg painted 40% finished
Since I'm still getting the hang of painting and shading and ALL of these are shaded works it may take me a minute to finish them. My drawing speed does not match my painting speed so forgive me while I grow and I appreciate you patience. I get more Ideas for YCH then I can handle and I've got a few standing by but I don't want to post until I've at least bitten into a good portion of that comic.
I appreciate all the work you guys have given me <3

How did you learn to do bgs?
Posted 11 years agoI watched a tutorial on how to paint water, but it wasnt a digital tutorial, it was an actual canvas tutorial and I applied it digitally - if that makes sense. And it helped me created my water themed YCH that I have going now. ----> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15736801/
Backgrounds are a weakness for me, as is shading and pretty much everything that doesn't have to do with character design. It's like my brain focuses so much of the main character that nothing else forms except blank canvas.
How did you guys overcome this? What do you do to help think of the image as a whole, finished product .
