I’ve been having a lot of personal problems this past month and its been heavily affecting my work and interactions with friends. April 2019 Update—PCD and Personal Projects
Posted 6 years agoHey everybody! LimboJack here. TFF was a blast! Got to meet a ton of amazing and nice folks in the fandom and I’m definitely looking forward to going back again next year. Also now that I’m home, got a lot to do on my art so pages of my comic series Firestorm are on their way. I’ll also be posting them on Patreon. March 2019 Update—TFF Bound (Brief Hiatus)
Posted 6 years agoHey everybody! LimboJack here. TFF is right around the corner and I am so excited to see some of you there. I will be on hiatus for a while until I come back home to Louisiana. As you might have seen in my past journal entry, the screenplay for Episode 1 of my comic series Firestorm is done and I’ll be posting a couple pages every few weeks or so sometime after TFF. 2. Do you know why you were named that?
I always designing characters since I enjoyed drawing and creating comics. When I came up with the character design, I looked for something that would best represent my personality, my creative talents, and my Louisiana background. Pretty much everything that best resembled myself in cartoon form. At first I thought of my sona as a lion but the design looked to cluttered, busy and overall edgy for all the wrong reasons. So I dialed it back a bit. As for the name a.) Limbo for his ghoulish background of his showman/ Mardi Gras queen personality of “party til you drop” & b.) Jack not because of his canine physique but because I had this one comic that I had for a while since college that submitted for a literature class. It was of course a Jack in the Beanstalk parody. Had a C minus tho, but a lot of my friends liked it. It was funny.

Single
4. Have any abilities or powers?
I can walk through walls, disappear and fly. I’m much more unique than the other guy.
5. Stop being a Mary Sue!
Bruh, I've got my faults. A plenty.

Yeah. Not a lot that I know of. Mostly my Mom and Dad. I also have and explanation involving why my fur is split into two colors and why I have ghost abilities. It involves my brother and it’s pretty sad.

Done with it. I’m a freelance graphic designer and artist as of late and I’m my own free wolf-man. Job hunting is a pain.

Marriage... if it's the right person, Then yeah.
Kids, it depends if my partner would want any. A lot of hassle, limits, and stress. But then again I want someone to carry on my work and share our talents with when our time comes.

Being alone.

My awesome leather pants and boots, but other than that I love my fur and going Commando.

December 2018 Update—Winter Wrap-Up

I would’ve loved to see you guys if it wasn’t for some very personal and unexpected things that happened that prevented from going. But don’t worry, I’ll make up for it next year. Not to mention I will be at Wizard World New Orleans and TFF as well. Also, after Christmas I am officially opening back up for commissions. August 2018 Update—1 Year Anniversary

I also wanted to say thank you for the 50 watches and all 300 favorites on my work so far. This past first year on FurAffinity was amazing and I look forward to seeing what’s in store for the future. 4/30—5 Years Still Strong
Posted 7 years agoFive years ago today, my brother and I survived a catastrophic car collision with an 18-wheeler that almost took our lives. My brother only had a few small cuts and bruises while I had to spend that summer in rehab on a wheelchair as I was healing from a fractured pelvis. Now it’s 2018, and my brother and I are still standing. I thank God we were given another chance to live and be with the people we loved for so many more years and continue to share our talents. This also made a positive impact for me by bringing me closer to my family, friends in and outside the fandom, and my faith.
If anyone sees this post, remember to tell those beside you how much you care about them, because one day you might never see them again. Thank you guys for all of the support these past few months, and for everybody who knows me outside the fandom thanks for your love, thoughts, and prayers during that rough time. I can never thank y’all enough. ❤️ U Guys

April 2018 Update

I just wanna say thanks to everybody who has been watching and favoriting my art so far, even though it’s mostly been fanart, holiday doodles of my fursona, birthday gifts and art trades. Many of you guys have been waiting a while to see some original work of mine, and I’m pleased to announce that my web comic series Firestorm will be released sometime here on FA and my Patreon this summer during the end of Pride Month. I know it’s cliche, but drawing comics and animating cartoons is something I have been wanting to do for a long time, and I hope you all enjoy whats to come. March 2018 Update
Posted 7 years agoHey every-fur! LimboJack here! Just to let you all know more art is on the way. I’m still working on the teaser poster and episode 1 of my comic/webtoon series Firestorm, putting up final revisions on my script and storyboard sketches. It’s also taking a while longer because this episode is actually a two-parter. I’ll be showing showing sneak peeks on my Patreon and Furry Amino for all you curious furs interested with this special project I’m working on. Not to mention I have a ton gifts and fanart I want to showcase to the community for the next upcoming months. Whether it be certain movies, favorite furry artists, favorite fursuiters, you name it. I have tabbed for the month of April. Still trying to get used to my work schedule at my Dad’s shop so can I make more time for my art, and expand my portfolio. February 2018 Update
Posted 7 years agoHey every-fur! LimboJack here! So in case some of you guys don’t already know by now, Mardi Gras season started not too long ago. I do have a little special something that have planned on posting soon for this. I’m also working on the teaser poster and first page of episode 1 of my comic/webtoon series Firestorm, that was originally going to be released for Valentine’s Day (the day after Mardi Gras this year). Not to mention a little special piece I have tabbed for the month of April. Unfortunately, it’s all gonna take a while due to this crazy time, especially the fact that my work schedule is cutting deeply into my art and social life. I even had to turn down one of my clients because of this, it’s sad and it’s something TBH I really never thought I would do. To put it simply, I’ve got a lot of work to do art wise, but I don’t have enough time to work on it. It’s stressful, but I assure you that you’ll be seeing what I have in store for you guys soon. So have a Happy Mardi Gras/ Valentine’s Day everybody, and Laissez les Bons Temps Rouler! 💜💛💚❤️
January 2018 Update
Posted 7 years agoHey everybody! It’s LimboJack and I’m back with another monthly update. The screenplay for my first episode in my comic series Firestorm is almost finished, and now I’m in the process of drawing out the panels (some of them will be animated). The premise is pretty much this. In this epic action-hero adventure, it’s up to a boy named Dash and his friends to assemble an army of heroes and search the Grid (Multiverse) for the missing shards belonging to the pen of an ancient drawing tablet before they fall into the hands of the nefarious organization Vortex and their master, the Prince of Darkness himself, Lord Zedah. I know this sounds cliché, but I’ve been drawing cartoons and comics since I was a kid, and I’ve been doing it because it’s what I love to do. It’s one of my many stories that I’ve been making since middle school, and it’s one I’ve been wanting to share with everyone outside of home and friends for quite some time. Now that it’s under legal protection, I’m ready to fearlessly step up to the center ring and you guys a show worth seeing. I hope you guys really enjoy Firestorm, along with some the other cool stuff I have in store in the future. Also, thanks again for all the favs and watches. Love you guys. God bless ;)
Plans for 2018
Posted 7 years agoHey guys! LimboJack here! Hope y’all are having a rockin’ holiday season! Just to let you know I have some major plans coming for this next year. However it’s been difficult having to arrange the best days for posting art and interacting with the community since I’ve been working two jobs to pay my rent. I do plan on going to another convention sometime in 2018, but I’m not sure when because of my work schedule. Also, I’m almost done setting up my Patreon account and the script for the first episode of my web comic series Firestorm. But that’s not all, let’s not forget that I’m planning on doing my other two series Crack Wizard and Terry & Torque and I’ll be posting the reference sheet to my LJ fursona sometime around this January.
