Despite a lot of negativity in the world this year, it has actually been a super blessed year for me.

After four and a half years, I finally escaped a job that was sucking the life out of me. I was extremely unhappy, stressed, and depressed. I miss the people I worked with, but i definitely do not miss the job. The verbal abuse from customers wears on you after so long, and I really dont know how people can stand it and just move on with the job. But i suppose its better than nothing.

After living in a tense household where there was five of us jammed in a (maybe) 1000 sq ft two bedroom apartment and after months of oreo having to endure verbal abuse to the point of destructive behavior, i finally found a home that is relaxed and Oreo is free to roam about with other dogs.

After two and a half years, I got to see my family again~! Such wonderful adventures we had, as much as I hate texas's climate, lol

And finally, after being lost for so long, I finally found the piece of me that i feel i've been missing. I've never felt the way i do about Danz, not with anyone ever. My last relationship basically ended three year prior to my finally giving up on it, and i wish i hadnt had to live through those last three years. Danz definitely brings out the best in me though, and rather than tear me down, he brings me up and makes me feel wonderful. And he appreciates my talent as much as I appreciate his. I love him to the moon and back~

But also this year, I gained a new family in the great white north! Everyone I met there so far has just been absolutely wonderful and I love them all dearly~

And i also have you guys to thank~ for all your support for me and for keeping up even though Ive been relatively absent. Thanks guys, you're all rad~

I may not open them back up until the holidays are over, as I will be in canada for christmas (weather permitting) and will not be bringing my laptop with me

So, I just wanted to keep you guys in the loop on some future ideas and projects that I want to do and see if anyone would be interested in!

First and foremost is I want to do a reboot of my old comic , except making it solely about Limi and how her soul became split~ I havent yet decided on if I wanted to make a patreon for this or not, where like...$5-$10 pledge or sommat gets you access to the comic, and a little more gets you exclusive shit. But, would that be something people would be interested in? Any ideas/advice for that?

Another thing I want to see if people would be interested in is coloring pages! I would like to make and sell coloring page sets if it's something people would be interested in! Let me know, and give me a few theme ideas! The pages would come in batches, and would be paid in bundles or as individuals (like.....$5 for a single/double/idk, $10 for like three, $25 for idk and so on, i havent really fleshed out pricing).

I am also going to be making a short comic here pretty soon that will RIP YOUR FUCKING HEART OUT.....yeah. It's gonna be sad af, and will be a collaboration with

2017 will also hopefully be the year i finally become a published author as well! You guys remember my Zombies and Werewolves story? Well, pixelbluebird is helping with editing and re-writing and we'll hopefully be releasing it on amazon sometime in 2017~!

Also in 2017, I want to open up a print shop, if it's something people would be interested in~

Personal-wise, life is hectic, but only because my new job is constant and non-stop until I get home, at which point I'm usually too exhausted to even think about doing art, so i do apologize to my commissioners that it's taking a bit to get shit done. Tomorrow I need to do some serious maintenance on my poor car. She needs an oil change, some more fluids added, and a hell of a scrub down. I need to get my brakes checked too, but I think they will be okay for now.

I'm lucky though, because today I hit a speed bumb that was unmarked and I couldn't see it really fucking hard, but it only scraped up the skid plate and not the bumper itself, and it didnt damage the oil pan or anything, but it put me in a pretty shitty mood the rest of today.

My birthday's also in a couple of weeks on the 19th....I really don't know what I'm going to do for it, probably just work like I normally do. Hopefully the weather will hold, though, and I can go up to Canada for christmas (so far the forecast is promising, but we all know how much of a moody bitch mother nature is).

OH! We haven't fully decided when yet, but me and my fiance want to be married within the next year or so~ I'm pretty stoked, as he's been my best friend and my hella crush for at LEAST ten or so years, and I never would have thought we would be at this point. If you had asked me when I first met him if we would ever be at this point, I would have laughed in your face. But after the marriage thing, then comes the more difficult process of actually applying for canadian citizenship, as it's a 13 month process and quite a large sum of money.

Okay, now I'm just sorta rambling, sorry!

On a final note, I am still open for commissions, but smaller projects only (i.e. flat colors, etc). I will only consider larger projects for people I have worked with before and know more about my working process, but as my profile states, I am regrettably a slow worker due to life, which is why I prefer not to take a large workload.

I want to be able to visit my man for Thanksgiving and Christmas

but in order to do that, i am required by law to have winter tires whenever i go into canada in the winter.

I have a spare set of rims that I was going to sell originally, but now I think i'm going to use those to put winter tires on (it doesn't snow where i'm at, so winter tires are usually useless here).

Only thing is, winter tires are expensive as fuck

AND there are times of the year that Snoqualmie Pass (the mountain pass that separates Eastern and Western WA) requires snow chains by law.

I'm having a bit of an issue finding chains that will fit my car, BUT

it will be somewhere around $500 alone for me to just get proper winter tires (all-season do now count, as they are not rated for heavy snow and ice and don't count for BC laws).

Well, I just wanted to give a lil life update for those of your who still bother to frequent my page~

I've worked for walmart for four years and a handful of months now, and finally I've worked up the courage to move on from the company. Starting out, it was a pretty great job, but more and more lately it's turned to shit. SO, I am switching to a company called Acosta who does merchandising for other companies. I will be a vendor for convenience stores and gas stations and stuff like that~ That job will start near the end of september whenever i get back from Canada

And speaking of canada! I will be away from September 6th to September 21st, and will probably rarely check messages in that time. HOWEVER, I am still open for commissions, and if you can catch me before I leave, I will be willing to work on stuff while I'm in canada~

With the previous monochrome painting I did, the YCH failed pretty horribly, but I am willing to sell it still for $35 to have your character's colors put into it. I know it's been a long time since I've taken commissions, but, i am presently in need of teh extra cash~

I'm wanting to take another two weeks off in September to go to Canada again, as it will be the last chance I get before the passes close for wintertime, and will be the last moments i get with my other half until April of next year.

There's only one issue with that. If my calculations are correct, I will only have roughly 38 hours of vacation time by then. That's only enough to cover one week off, and I would otherwise be missing half a paycheck.

SO in light of that, I'm going to start taking small commission projects, up to a flat color level (paintings would kill me, honestly), preferably two at a time and I request artistic freedom with them, but it's not necessarily required (i just work better with artistic freedom is all)

For those of you that missed my last journal, on sunday my mom was admitted to the hospital for a gunshot wound that she got from a shooting range accident. It went in at such an angle that the bullet knicked her kidney and liver. The initial surgery she had on sunday brought a positive outlook from the surgeon, though they would have to keep an eye on the kidney to make sure it didn't fail.

Yesterday they took her in for another surgery, to both assess the damage to her kidney and to already be in there in case they needed to remove it. I'm not sure if they did remove it or not, but today they took the drainage tube out and apparently she's talking up a storm, so things are on the up and up.

I'm glad the shot wasn't fatal, but this has all made me realize how distant I've been with my family. I don't call or text my mom nearly as much as i should, as much as i promised i would, and just...ugh. I'm happy to be able to be seeing them next month, and am incredibly lucky to be seeing them. Because if that bullet had been just a few inches to the left, it would have killed her, and the last time i would have seen my mom would have been two and a half years ago, and i'm just not prepared for that kind of thing.

But anywho, thanks for all of your kind thoughts and stuff, it means a lot

I've been relatively gone and radio silent the last few weeks because i was, once more, in canada. Had a fantastic time, minus getting strep half way through, and i sorely miss it. I'm hoping for another visit in september, but we'll have to play it by ear i suppose~

In light of that, however, i got some startling news yesterday from my sister. My mom and step dad were at the gun range, and i don't know the details of what happened, but there was an accident and mom was shot. It luckily wasn't fatal, but it did go in at such an angle that it knicked her kidney and liver. News today is that she is stable and is doing good, so i'm hoping for a speedy recovery so i can see them next month.
