I ended up going to Everfree with the awesome and fantastic  OctoPieces.

It was her first time suiting in her new partial, and it was a blast seeing all of the positive reaction she got. Everyone there seemed extremely friendly, even though the partial wasn't MLP related :P

The two panels I managed to get to go to seemed kinda so-so, and the dealers hall seemed smaller than what it was last year to me. Though maybe that's because I got there fairly later in the day and people sold out/packed up. Every year I think I should come up with something to sell there, but I never actually go through with it. Maybe next year though heh :p

Did anyone else end up going there? If you did, how did it turn out for you?

So tickets went back on sale so I'll be able to go after all! I'm interested in seeing how it's going to go being a first year con and all. Regardless, I am super excited! Then two weeks after that is going to be PAX! It's going to be one awesome con filled August lol.

So the super hyped up "Snowpacalypse" has hit here in Seattle, which still doesn't seem as bad as it was like two years ago. Oh well! My works been closed all week so far so that's pretty awesome. Get to stay home and play BF3 and whatnot ^^

I wanted to go take some pics of the snow but I seemed to have left my camera's charger back at work D: So I guess you'll all have to take my word for it lol. Anyways, hope all you other Seattlites are staying safe out there!

So I'm back again as some of you may noticed. I'm trying my best to get at least an image done every week; as a result, my primary focus has more been really streamlining my work to see if I can get myself to draw faster. As I work with various methods and continue to practice drawing I think it's gradually getting faster on each image I finish.

I've been doing OC sessions with a pretty awesome dude known as every now and then. He's had some good insight and has come up with some really good ideas as we work heh. It's been a blast working with him and I continue to look forward to doing more OC's in the future. That being said, if anyone else is interested in doing OC sessions with me. Hit me up and I more than likely would be interested in doodling with ya ^^!

Sooooo that sickness from my previous journals didn't kill me. I swear I am not a zombie typing this. Recent events have changed things a bit, so I may be a bit slower on updating the page than I had hoped (stupid things like responsibilities getting in the way, PSH).

Anyways, I went and saw the latest X-men movie last night. I wasn't as impressed with it as I thought I would have been. Everyone I've been talking with said it was super good and amazing... but it seemed to have came out just average. Not saying that it was bad or anything, cause it was pretty good. Just that it didn't reach the standards that I was hoping for. However, that being said, I'm probably going to keep paying to go see any marvel movie that comes out. I very much enjoyed Thor, and despite not reaching my expectations, this x-men movie was entertaining to watch. As for the next one, Captain America? I am fucking stoked, that is going to be a damn awesome movie. I wish I could talk more about them here, but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, oh well.

But yeah, art. It'll but up maybe once a week or so for the time being. Sucks, but meh, I'm busy!

I am very disappointed, as this entire weekend I just laid in bed the entire time. Therefor I got nothing of use done, buuuuut it's not like I could have avoided it. My sickness feels like it's surely over the hump now. I've still been coughing and my throats still a bit sore, but god is it better than it was a few nights ago. Anyways, back to work tomorrow, and I stayed up way too late tonight so I'm probably going to be very tired as I work. I'd really like to draw something else tomorrow night if I can, depends how tired I am when I get home (or if not being in bed makes my sickness worse again). We shall see.

Also, for a moment there, I thought I was going to die and be taken up to heaven for rapture... but I guess randy savage beat up god and told him to not kill anyone. Thank you randy savage!

Well, I managed to get myself out of bed long enough to make a small avatar for myself. Hopefully I can get the full image done tomorrow, I think being out of bed has made my throat much worse. So we'll see how I'm feeling tomorrow to decide if I'll finish anything or not. Anyways, keep in touch for new stuffs coming this weekend.

So I finally get some sort of new and awesome job, 9-5 on weekdays which has given me much more free time than I've been used too the past couple of years. I'm loving it so far, cause then I can pretty much draw whatever I want or do whatever finally. Of course, karma has to beat me up a bit first to even out the awesome of the living situation I've gotten myself into. There's been a sickness going around the company I work for, and naturally I get it on the first week there lol. It totally feels flu like, headaches, sore throat, nausea, and cold sweats. I've been stuck to my bed since yesterday constantly napping, so far the nausea has died down, but my throat is starting to feel worse. I've been taking daily vitamins and drinking lots of water, but if you have any insight on how to make living with this sickness a little bit easier. Feel free to leave a message with what you usually do when you get sick!
