General | Posted 16 years agoWelp, I guess I lied. Sadly, I'll have to forfeit the cost of the pre-registration fee. I was really looking forward to FF but due to my new job (and a lot that I don't want to explain about scheduling and quotas) I won't be able to make it. Dangit!
Oh well, there'll be another time! Too bad I can't, like... transfer my registration to next year. There's probably no way to do that, right?

Halloween is coming!
General | Posted 16 years agoI moved my photoblog (which was hosted at Blogspot) to Tumblr and have revitalized it a lot. I'm gonna go with themed posts, so, from now through November 1st the theme is Halloween. After that, probably a general autumn theme, then winter/Yule/Christmas/Hanukkah, etc. I'm posting a mix of my own photos/art, as well as things I didn't make but fit the theme.

If anyone still has a space for me to crash that would be awesome. I'm not expecting it, and I will plan around it, but it sure would be sweet not to have to drive too far away to sleep. I promise I'm easy to get along with, I don't smell, and I will pay for my share and draw you shit if you let me crash with you. :3

A. Say hi! I'm friendly and like meeting new people but I'm super shy. Don't mistake my shyness for thinking I'm Just Too Cool or something.
Q. How will I recognize you?
A. I'll post a freshly-updated pic here soon, keep an eye out. :P There's pics of me in my gallery but I cut my hair since then. I'll probably be dressed up all steampunk-y and wearing some accessories like horns, kitty ears, and/or a tail.

A. Plz call me Linden. :3 And use male (he/him/his) or gender-neutral pronouns (ze/hem/hes, they/their, ze/zim/zir, etc.) for me, please, if it's not obvious.

A. If I don't know you, hugging or touching me without getting to know me for a few minutes is a bad idea. Depending on my mood, I might be more touchy-feely or more anxious and twitchy. Ask first to give me some warning, that's all I need.
Q. Do you take requests, trades, or commissions?
A. I'm planning on it! I wanna draw with peeps. :D ALSO, I'm thinking of bringing some jewelry to sell, and I'm totally down for taking custom orders. Just ask!

General | Posted 16 years agoSo I've resolved to make it to FurFright this year! I might be too broke for a room and I don't want to mooch, so I might just drive down just for one day.
Who else reading this is going and wants to hang out?? I'm kind of shy at first and can be a little socially awkward (who in the furry fandom isn't socially awkward to some degree?) but I'm pretty open and friendly to anyone as long as they're not transphobic, can respect the concept of asking permission before hugging or touching, and understand what "uh, I'm married" means.
Who else reading this is going and wants to hang out?? General | Posted 16 years agoSo, like, I live in Boston now. It's exciting but I'm kind of scared shitless, lol. This sure ain't Buffalo where our last apartment cost less than half what this one does. I'm going to be opening up for simple commissions (badges & icons mostly, I'd assume, y'know, cheap stuff, people love cheap stuff) soon, I think.
Hoping my set-up here will make it much easier to scan drawings & sketches so I can just color them without trying to do lineart on my tablet (and, of course, to scan stuff that I already colored). *whheeeeeeep*

General | Posted 17 years agoAlthough I haven't really made any furry illustration in the past three years or so (at least, nothing beyond doodles on my placemat at the diner), my creative juices have always been very very busy. It's like I have this compulsion to be making things with my hands.
