Around 2:30 this afternoon, while strolling outside to get the mail, ChapDav was hit by a car. He has two serious lacerations to his head and severe pain in his back and knees. Anyone wishing to converse with him, please do so through me since he isn't up to being on the computer yet and probably won't be for awhile.

He will be ok, it's just going to take some time.

I am relatively new to this arena and as such I have lots of questions. I was introduced by my bf and in support of him, I joined. The people I have found here are very nice (for the most part) and I feel like I can ask this without a great deal of backlash because I mean it sincerely and not in a 'Eww gross what is up with that' kind of way. I was just wondering how many of you are in relationships with someone who doesn't share your particular proclivity?

I ask because I don't understand how it can work if your fetish is fantastical and could never play out in real life even if you found someone willing to participate. Is there any way to get over that hurdle or is it something that you just deal with and resent your partner for not sharing? I want to do all I can and would like to get options, opinions or perhaps just plain ol' advice...
