I’m thinking I’ll leave FA. The environment’s not really suiting me.
Yes, the security breaches are a large factor. It seems to me that once the admins work out a solution (outdated or not), they’re content to let it be until something comes up that threatens/exploits it. Then, they’re running around, trying to find a quick fix that’s never really any more secure than the last time. The password encryption and login screens are just a couple examples.

Another factor is that the site just feels old. The “classic” theme is mainly what I’ve been using; the “beta” theme doesn’t seem very updated, nor fully functional. There’s a lot of empty space, and even with that, it feels clunky and crowded. Maybe bigger thumbnails would be better than lots of smaller ones? I don’t really know what it is about it; I just don’t like the design.

Either way, don’t expect to see much of me here; I think I’ll hop over to Weasyl and use them as my primary platform for fuzzies. Of course, you can always find me on Tumblr, too (fuzzies less guaranteed).

Any goings-on?

I'm coming up on some free time, so I'll be getting to all of my AskEtches then! I promise I haven't abandoned them!

After some prodding around on Tumblr, I believe that it should be safe to submit AskEtches! I went on a tag searching rampage and didn't hit any speed bumps. =3

So regarding my latest addition, AskEtch...

From what I've been seeing on my Tumblr dashboard, it's suggested that any- and every- thing on Tumblr is compromised because of an "FBI MoneyPak" virus or trolling. For the time being, I'm going to ask that everybody refrain from going to my ask page there, in order to keep the health of your computer in good standing. My own computers have succumbed to many viruses (mainly on Windows XP) in the past, and I know that they aren't easy to replace.

I'll post another journal when all is clear. Until then!

I'm long overdue for a journal...How do I write these again?

First things first! I've had a long bout with an illness known to the common artist as Artist's Block. It's a foul virus that plagues the body for days, even weeks! And unfortunately, I was its host for a long time. However, with the start of the new year (and a few addicting games to occupy my time), I've been able to slowly repress said illness and get back into drawing stuff. There's a lot that I want to draw, but due some technique changes and practicing with poses and how I draw in general, my motivation's kind of fallen down the chute. Rest assured, I've called maintenance and they're going to get it back for me in a short while.

I'm forgetting something...
Ah, yes! I hope everyone had a good and safe new year's celebration (because it's totally not too late for that), and that they haven't broken all of their resolutions just yet. Gotta save some for later in the year!

I've hardly ever done this before, but it's someone I know and I'd hate to see something bad happen to them.

I'm at a bit of a loss for ideas, so...

Hey everybody.

I won't be able to post any art for a while. My tablet is breaking everywhere and I'm having to look at getting a new one. I'm thinking along the lines of a Bamboo Tablet, but if anyone has any other advice for a brand to use, let me know. =3

I've also kind of hit a slump. I'm not thinking of any fun ideas for pictures. It's not a whole lot of fun. Maybe when school starts back up, I'll think of something.

Also, I'll mention that I'm saving up for an iBUYPOWER desktop computer. More on that some other time.

Hey everyone. Just letting you know that I'm trying to stay up to date with things. I've reached a speed bump, as far as art goes. Also, from what I've seen, a lot of people are doing "ask art". No, it's not like requests. I've been thinking about trying them, but first, I'd need a much faster way to draw. I'm not good with computer sketching. X3

Also, I apologize if I'm ever solemn. Things have been going on in my family since January, and they've only gotten worse. I'm not going into much detail, as it's not something I need to share with the entire Internet.

Also! Commissions are open! I'll see if I can provide some examples soon. as I know that just verbal descriptions aren't good.

On that note, I shall go back to my cave...

All right, time for some updates.

~ We're currently living in Lafayette, Indiana, and we spent this last weekend doing nothing but moving. Loading up a 24' Budget truck, hauling it down to our new house, unloading, and unpacking. It's a small house, but it's nice to be somewhere new. I have to admit, I'll miss my old house. Just not all of the problems it had. XD I'm just glad I can go to a school where creativity is the top priority, and not sports.

~ I just went and saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, and it was AMAZING. My brother says it didn't follow the book entirely, but we both feel it was nice to have a little bit of change. Y'know, to shake things up a little.

~ I'm working on a new art project. I know I don't do much with the one I've already started (and I need to), but that's because it's been the same story and characters since I started it. This new one is basically a refresher of my mind, to get the 'artsy' side of it flowing again, and to (hopefully) get me back into drawing regularly. Plus, with new stories come new characters! It won't be using Tyler, Jenna, or Megan, but instead new people to carry the story along. And no, that trio is still existent (not that any of you would really care).

~ I've said it multiple times, in hopes of getting some business, but I'll say it again. Commissions are (and have been for a LONG time) open, and I think they're fairly reasonable. Information on that can be found here. But there's a few new reasons as to why I'm trying to get more commissions.
- I'm saving up for two new laptops (One a PC (entertainment/gaming), one a MacBook (art))
- I'm saving for an Xbox 360, as dumb as that sounds.
- I'm trying to get noticed, and advertising costs money. :C

I'll start off by saying Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it.

Now, I did have gifts in the works for people, but I swear to God this really happened. I was installing my new LifeCam I got from my grandparents, and my computer screen froze. So, I had to shut it off for the night, and I couldn't complete everyone's pictures. I shall post the ones I got done, and then post the ones I didn't get done, when I get them done.

So, I'm sorry if you woke up hoping for a picture from me, 'cuz you might be a teensy bit disappointed.

So, apparently there's been this breach of security, and everyone's deleting their notes. As a safety measure, I've done the same, and rather than contacting me via said method, just e-mail me instead at link2262@live.com. I check that regularly (as I do this site), as well as deviantART. So, that's about it.

I figured I needed to update my journal. It's been over a month.

- I'm trying to change Megan a little bit. She's decided to put off losing weight loss until the Spring, when it gets easier to work out. So, I'd like to see you guys (my watchers, and anyone who reads this) draw Megan with a few changes you'd like to see, aside from the size of her stomach. She can't lose all of it, though. She's had 5 kids, and that does some bad things to the body.
- I'm going to try and make holiday pictures starting this Christmas, since a bunch of people I know make them.

For just inked, it's $.50 every additional character. For colored and full, it's $.100 each additional character. If you want examples, my gallery/ies are full of 'em.

*A description of what they are to be doing

I apologize for the lack of artwork on my half. My family's going through some really rough times, I'll try to get done what I can. I have a few sketches made, but my main problem is being sidetracked by other projects, and lack of ideas. The only picture I've completed all Summer is "She's Trying..." And that's a picture I really like. Maybe it's just my tools, my style, or something else. I'd hate to give up drawing.

What I'm mainly looking for is main ideas for pictures. If you wanna shoot off some ideas, I might use them.
