I am also ADHD. Diagnosis was confirmed today by my therapist.
This answers so many things and brings me closure.

So I've already started on a medicine called Guanfacine 1mg but she upped it to 2mg today.

The Hydroxyzine 25mg has been a game changer with my anxiety and being able to sleep quickly,
(It's a sedative so it eases me into sleepiness rather than knocking me out right away.)
I was prescribed this after being diagnosed with Primary Insomnia and my sleep has greatly improved because of the medicine.

Over all I feel a lot better, I feel like I have more energy and not as tired and hoping the upped Guanfacine will help me focus a lot better.

Had a really bad falling out (I kinda saw it coming and it was over something so petty that will be noted later) with a friend someone I had known since early 2000s. We had our ups and downs and there are things they still hold onto (I say they to be ambiguous, I'm not saying names.)

We had a couple falling outs but this time was the last time. As they started accusing me of being an abuser even though all these instances we'd talk about we'd discuss and mend in detail. I may have said some things wrong and I have already owed up to that with them. But currently that doesn't seem like the case anymore. All that fixing was quite literally for nothing.

To summarize as I'm on my phone;

- I've "abused" their OC in rps when they would ASK me and were willing to do those rps.
- Claimed I've abused them and claimed I said they weren't good enough even though I've never once said that.
- Claimed I'm still in the "popular mindset" from all those years ago but they saw me change I guess that's a lie too.
- Absolutely and very rudely mocked my art for literally no reason, like I'm trying to improve but fuck off.
- Claimed that I will never finish these commissions I've taken on and that I shouldn't have done it. I didn't have a job from January until July so I didn't have a choice despite putting out 50 applications. I am working on them I'm just slow and I've stated this, I'm adjusting to this new job so I'll be much slower. But I guess thinking on the past is more important to them. (I'm aware I don't have a great work ethic)

There are so many other bat shit accusations that it makes no sense. Literally going off on me because I said " I'll be honest I vibe on my off days". Not to mention this all started with that and me mentioning I draw feral nsfw. (I don't want to hear it just unwatch me). Am I not allowed to relax? According to them I'm not. Just reminds me of when my ex forced me to draw owed work and adopts but by god I draw for myself or relax it's the end of the world. I had a 2 1/2 year burnout because of that controlling behavior.

I was extremely harsh to them in dms and to be frank I don't regret it especially after all the accusations just thrown at me. This isn't the first time this happened but I was too soft and forgave. I'm 36 I'm to old for this childish behavior and so are they.

I guess I'm still a popular asshole like I was in 2012. 💅I've always told them to not focus on the past and to move forward but clearly that isn't working. I'm done being gaslight every single time from them it's abuse and manipulation, having them try to gaslight me into thinking I haven't changed when I have.

So if you see this. Yes I have a right to post this, you had no right to accuse me of shit we already fixed in the past. Stuff we talked about extensively. But to you none of that matters.

I've been working and adjusting to this job (quality technician in a solar manufacturing plant)
I'm not used to 12 hour shifts but I'm steadily getting there and the pay is really nice
I'm not used to weekly pay (I love it though) but they said it'll change to biweekly in september.
While I work Thurs. Fri. Sat. and every other Weds. I have 3 to 4 days off.
Sometimes I literally just do nothing and vibe those days I wont deny that. It's exhausting LOL.

In other news I got to meet my new therapist on the 4th, absolutely stellar woman and LGBTQ supportive.
I have proper diagnostic names now, Generalized Anxiety, Moderate Depression and now a new one Primary Insomnia. (Yay racing thoughts before bed /lh)
She gave me a med to help and so far night 1 went really well with it - I'll say the name Hydroxzine.
It's a sedative but it's also an antihistamine, aids in anxiety and various other things too. Boy does it make me feel very relaxed before I sleep.
I'm also going to get an eval for ADHD and from what answers I gave her she suspects ADHD too so I'll be getting an ADHD test done on the 25th.

So I'm excited and looking forward to chatting with her more I think it'll help my brain overcome a lot of things.

So that job I wasn't entirely certain about I actually acquired and I start July 7th, orientation day.
It took a month of stress and uncertainty to know if I got it or not as I remember contacting the recruiter she told me I didn't pass the safety assessment.
Which that assessment wasn't about environmental safety, it was more about what my thought process was about situations or what my thoughts were about a coworker.
So I do think it was a clerical error on their part.

I got the onboarding link yesterday to finally get myself in the system, as it took this one company forever to get my fingerprints done for background screening.
(drug and background came back clean cause im a good boi lol!)

The company is a solar manufacturing plant and if i recall I'll be a quality technician.
$20 an hour, thursday, friday, saturday and every other wednesday 12 hour shifts.

It was a job opportunity I was hired but had to pass a drug and background check + the safety assessment, which the safety assessment I did not pass.
So they ghosted me and never told me. Said they were going to get back to me 2 - 3 days after the interview with the link to do a background check but didn't.
Oh well. Back to the yee old job search grind.

My boo and I started Keto on the 4th of this month, made it all the way to the 14th.
We decided to stop, it's not for me and I've been dealing with keto insomnia and man I love my sleep.
Not to mention most of the keto-induced dreams have been more-less anxiety inducing... x_x
With a lack of a total thyroid It feels like I can't metabolize well on the diet.
I can see why it (Keto) can be beneficial for health, but my body is not reacting to it in a way I would've liked.

I also plan to talk to my doctor about testing for diabetes or prediabetes.
I can tell when I'm low on sugar but once I have sugar I feel normal.
But any time I see blood tests my level is always around 85 for glucose.
But I want to be safe, my dad's mom died from un-treated diabetes and my dad is on preventative care for diabetes.

Had an abdomen MRI done on the 9th to rule out hemochromatosis so they confirmed it is iron-deficient anemia
Oh and also deficient in Vitamin B-12 so they'll probably up the dose on that.

I see my new Endocrinologist this Friday so I can continue my Levothyroxine (I had to have a total thyroidectomy in 2023)
then I see my new OBGYN on June 6th and my primary again on July 1st - that day is when I'll talk to her about testing for diabetes or pre-diabetes.

But this coming Monday the 19th we plan to start working out small stuff first then getting into bigger things.

Update: My cat Rebel is okay, he had an ingrown claw so it just needed clipped and he had no broken paw or anything serious. yay im so happy ;w;!!!
