I was considering species and decided canine feline hybrid was most like me, and then picked a color. She's changed a lot as far as color, she went from grey to tan with black to grey and white to a kinda reverse siamese and then i threw the blue in and went back to grey. Her muzzle changed lengths a few times too, between canine and feline and i kinda ended up settling in the middle

I have a Pacu, named Caesar. When I first got him he was the most shy and scared fish in the tank, always hiding. He would never come out for food, the other fish always got there and ate it all. He was too scared to move from his hiding spot except to pick around at night, which isn't enough to stay healthy.

I would feed him separately and once he got more confident, I was happy. Now he's very confident. Too confident. He's become the boss of the tank since my Oscar died trying to eat something way too big for him, like the cocky jerk he was.

And the teeth.

Those teeth.

I couldn't see them when he was small but Pacu have HUMAN TEETH. All Pacu have teeth like that, but not this prominent. You can't see them unless you really look in the mouth. His stick out past his lips. I'm afraid he's going to kill me with those blunt human fishteeth one day, revenge for making fun of him when he was small for being the biggest fish and getting bossed around. He could jump out and EAT MY HAND when he gets big.

So I treat him as well as I can, pay more attention to the tank now than I ever have.

I haven't posted anything in a really long time. I kinda fell into a period where I didn't want to do anything at all. My relationship ended and some other difficult things came up, and I was just generally really unhappy. BUT I'm getting back to doing things now, I improved a bit and I'm happier with my work as well.

I've been unusually stressed out recently, considering that I'm generally a calm person. I guess a lot of things have been piling up, lots of nursing work and college application bullshit sprinkled on top of my mom's usual craziness. I was getting frustrated with my drawing too, after looking at so many great artists I was beginning to give up on trying to draw at all, and I just stopped caring. Things that stopped bothering me have started to again (like my dad). To be honest I haven't even showered in a few days.

But I just took a nice hot bubbly bath and I feel a lot better. I think I'm feeling a bit more like my normal self and for some reason I felt the need to write about this. -shrugs-
