Has said i should do one. I am not one to write too much into blogs but...sure why not X3

Friday Day 1:

I didn't get much sleep this day since i was very busy working on my Homework and studying for my finals. I slept at 5 only to wake up again later on in the day around 10-ish so i can make it to class. Afterward, it was straight to the airport i go! Good ol cheap Southwest...what would i do without you and your free luggage offers? :3

When i landed in SoCal, it was as hot as ever. Huepow00 picked me up from the airport and we went straight to the convention, which was not too far off from the airport itself, in a Mariott.

When i went in, i was taken aback just a little bit. I have been in the furry fandom for quite some time, however i never attended a convention before and it was a different view for me to see. :)

However one thing plagued us at the beginning...and that was the long waiting line for pre-registered members! Apparently the pre-reg line was longer than that of those that are paying on the spot. Whats up with that? XD We ended up having to wait about 45 minutes just to get my badge that day. The inefficient line however was somewhat saved however with me meeting some people that Huepow00 knows. Hyper hyper Bunbun, and Ms.Muse/Nidenomo(sp) stood out to me(sorry if i forget you! Theres so many new faces!), and they got me feeling a little bit more welcomed while standing in line.

I was afraid that i would be very awkward throughout this con, and that i would be a little shy as well. But if anything the people at this con were in general, very nice people :) And omg Huepow00 knows (or other people know him) so many people! A constant trend throughout the weekend would be him and me walking around the convention, as small as it may be, and him stopping every 20 seconds or so to talk to someone that is a fan of his, or a friend! He ish so popu-rawr 83

Afterwards, we got some food at McD...5 dorra 20pc McNugget is so gewd! And headed back to the game room to play Super Street Fighter II Turbo on the Dreamcast setup. The game room is relatively small, maybe next year if i decide to go i can contribute to some setups. :) Other than that, i don't think many furries that attended, knew how to play on a higher level. Only 1 other asian dude stood out to me that knew a little bit about the game, but not at least to my level of knowledge.

Now this isn't a diss or anything, its just i invested a lot more time into these games. I would not mind helping anyone out or just dicussing about these things. I wouldn't mind leading some charity or something game-related next time i decide to go. :) That being said, no one can touch me...@_@ And i used the bad DC Pad too.

We then loitered around in the hallway waiting for some of Huepow00's friends to gather and go eat at iHop. And afterwards i remember Huepow00 dropping me off at Roo's and Two the Ranting Gryphon's place for a while to charge his phone. They were a nice bunch of people, and i can tell they care about each other alot in their own special insulting way X3 No Roo i won't worship that, and you're lucky i didn't decide to kick you in the crotch for 40 bucks XD Although i did not talk to 2 very much, it was good just to shake his hand after watching his stuff on Youtube. :)

I forgot exactly when but i remember during some time at the con i met Pawkio, Jasu, and Happywulf...and i got to stay at their house of cats 83 Again i really appreciate the generosity! It was very nice to be able to stay in there during my time down! Now if only Weston would stop laughing while i slept X3


Saturday Day 2:

Today i was supposed to compete in the CaliFur's first Street Fighter IV Tournament. However for some reason i was unable to make it in time. :( In the end i just ended up playing casuals for a couple of hours with some really friendly people, until it was time for Furry Night Live!

I remember a couple of skits, involving poo, alcohol, rocking out, drugs, and other silly things. However the one that really caught my eye was the woman not in a fursuit, and doing some hula hoop dance. That one really took my attention because it required some sort of skill to do, while the others were just skits and funny. :) Hope she won!

Then i went out to eat Arby's with mah hubble 83 Sorry if i made eating such a hassle..x_x

Afterwards, it was more casuals in CvS2, MvC2, and 3S. I will have to admit, theres alot of panels that i wasn't particularly interested in unlike Fanime or Kin Yobi Con. However i will have to say that, its not the panels that made this con but the people. In other conventions most people kept to themselves, and they were not too interactive. So i gotta smile at the niceness of people here :)

Then Huepow00 had to do his DJ gig. :3 I heard it was very hype even though i did not attend, since i heard it clearly from the outside! I even heard that K-Rock, Stone Temple Pilot, and Smash Mouth trying to crash that party too! Thats pretty hype X3 But me? Oh...i decided to fall asleep for about an hour in the con-floor near Pawkio despite his best efforts to entertain me with a PSP.

I had to leave the con due to the fact the only thing that was going on was the Dance. Much thanks to Pawkio for taking me back to their house. I remember we had a pretty deep conversation about language, psychology, and other things. Thanks for being a kind person and welcoming me like that. I was very shy with everyone and unsure on what i should say at times. But...in the end i really had a good time...^^

I am so sorry for leaving my Mexican food out like that @_@ *shot*


Sunday Day 3

Halo 3 sucks! Or i suck at playing it. I never played the Halos that much so all i did today was get rocked XD And go to the Scritch can Bitch X3 It was good to see everyone so lively and upbeat. Most other convention's feedback panels are very solemn and serious, its good to see people more relaxed and happy while doing their jobs.

I remember talking to Evee a bit too..hopefully he would like to go to EVO...and i think people knew me as the guy that just plays Street Fighter all the time at the con..maybe i can do something related to that next time...

Afterwards...i got to visit the Hill where i spent some good time with my hubbie on my first visit to OC. It was good times...makes me nostalgic...

I also got to visit bunny's school and eat some yogurt at Golden Spoon. Then i had to go..i really didn't want to ; ; i was having a good time and i just got to know people...but in the end i had to go home ; ;

Thanks to everyone who made my weekend great. There might have been things that i missed during this writeup but be sure that whatever that you did, it is very much appreciated and loved by me <3 Wai wai!
