The Banana Splits Song fills me with rage, but only when it's not associated with the show. Because it's apparently well known enough to be a viable pop reference, but not enough for me to meet a single person outside of my immediate family who's heard of them.

Oh and ito Junji is at the top of the list of men who get to ravish me if at any point I switch sides. Jason Vorhees is number 2. The rest of the list is a secret, a dark and horrible secret, and they say horrible things happen to people who find out..... horrible things....

Not So mindless, picked up RPG maker Xp, and started a project with it, we'll see where I go with that...

Oh and as always I'm still open to requests and trades.

So....... Yeah, been a while, I've been distracted by stuff 'n things lately, sorry that I'm just now catching up. Good news I was able to get a replacement through the insurance. Bad news I'm knee deep in the red as far as my leave goes, so no Anthrocon for me this year. All in all very blah lately, I've got a few more things to finish from this batch of pictures, plus some things that need inking, like the next four MHP's including 4 "cop-out" ponies.

On the plus side, new profile avatar. Also I've decided to make a buffer and start my webcomic, time allowing, before the next underway, hopefully time will allow. The comic is Inhuman Interest, and it actually consists of several comics, One, is Matt and Pers, Ben and Jerry, the super hero comics, and any new ideas that rear their ugly head, I'll hammer out an update schedule after I start.

Not the man although he is dead. I'm talking about my car. You see last night on my way home I managed to roll my car, I crawled out just fine, but as I found out today, the outlook for my car is rather bleak.

Good news, car is insured, insurance company seems cooperative.

Bad news, no car for a while.

Neutral news, I've got a buncha art waiting for scanning and colorin. hopefully I'll have a long off crew period in which to finish them.

Assuming I do then I should be heading to Anthrocon later this year, which will be awesome.

Oi, I'm here for a flash then I'm back out, wish I had some huge news to type, but I don't, I should be back in a few weeks, hopefully I'll have more then.

So for the rest of you, I'm back in port for a few days, then I'm heading right back out until some time late January. Which is navy for "sometime within the millenia"...So I'll give a holler or two when I get back and before going back out again.

Longer term it looks like I'll be on constant underways with whomever has control of the boat, possibly until sometime late next fall.... Oi....

Wooh, so sometime in the next week or so I'll be going out to sea again.

Not much to say after that, I'll be gone only a few weeks this time, so it'll be better than most underways.

Right now I'm working on a comic, a long comic and unfortunately for the universe at large, it's serious. When I get a cover finished I'll start posting some.

Well I'm back from that unexpectedly short deployment. A while back here then I'll go back out with my crew. Until then I'll work on the stuff I drew underway. Including:

1:the first 7 or so Colony comics.
2:A CYOEC
3:Some stand alone pieces
4:My PCA team.

Oh and by the way you should probably join the spiral, and I should get more practice on drawing sexier things. Probably best not to think about that.

Well, I'll be going out to sea for several weeks again, hopefully I'll make good progress on my quals. But my work is boring and stupid. So in the art department I'll put spare time towards the rest of a comic I'm working on, it's looking to be quite lengthy, the story revolves around the Colony and her experience with phenomenon X, which is basically a furry retelling of Uzumaki. So if you've read that series this was a sleight spoiler.

Also still got some super profiles waiting and yet I'm still open to any Requests, Trades, or commissions. Although if you request one I won't be able to respond till I get back.

Good news I'm back from the land of mild concusions and no internet a week or so early.

Bad news it's so I could be here for my Grandmothers memorial service. I'm grateful they could get me out for this, but I honestly don't know how to feel about all this. I miss her, but I knew this was coming, she was getting up there in years and not doing well. At the same time, I've never been that depressed about death, just the next part of life, and the only tragic part is for the living who lose her. if nothing else she's at a sort of peace .......

Sigh, narf it, it felt good to write it down but honestly I'm not that good at being sad or whiny or dramatic. So back to the crazy and the comedy.

So as of noon t'morrow I'm going to be in a constant state of being ready to ship out at a moments notice. Because sometime soon I'll be heading underway with the other crew on my boat. This is the one thing I really hate about the Navy, besides the stupid coworkers, the uniforms, and people regulating my chest hair.

Anyone wanting requests, trades or commissions, should still send a note, but I can't do much until I get back, I also wont have my laptop with me so I can't do any work on the colouring end.

But I should get some sketching, storyboarding, and writing done. Mostly though they're just sending me out to work on quals.

In the distant future when I'm qualified I intend to start up a webcomic. This comic weill be a potluck sort of affair, including Ben and Jerry comics, the many furry superheroes, the comics of my own fursona and his sidekicks, and any half-assed comic that worms its way out of my skull. The updates would be whenever I can get them out. Back with LITM I was in school, a much more solid schedule allowed me to do a Mon-Wed-Fri update schedule (egads I miss that). But Navy scheduling is more crazed and bizarre, more resembling a large box of hamsters with Boris Karloff yelling at them than any organized system. It's completely acceptable for them to keep me overnight without a word of warning. Oy.

On the outside, I finally saw the Cube which was nice, and Clockwork Orange which was pleasant if confusing, and the big Lebowski which was okay.

Also I'm appearing in Furcadia more often, my username is also litmauthor..... because originality is for people with functioning brains.

Technically I'm aspiring to be a whore. Or maybe just a slut.

The first is a top hat, saw the thing in Spencer's Gifts, and thought, hot damn a sweet ass top hat. I think I confused my roommate by walking around in a tophat and t-shirt.

The second thing's better, I found the geekier guys on my ship. Including the dm. That's the most important thing to find in a new place. Now I can get truly geeky with some coworkers. I'm already preparing a char sheet for the first campaign, a necromancer jakal.

which is strange insomuch as it is
an incredibly good story. Currently the status
of the super hero reference sheets is as follows
Fist of Gaea, The Colony, Tangle Spark, and the
Blinding Screech are inked and pending clean up
and scanning. Barring unforeseen things affecting it I'll
get at least one up before Sunday at 1200. Because at 1200
I have to report in for work. As far as my work schedule goes, I'm
scheduled for a shift 1200- 2400, noon- midnight. This is for the
duration of the refit, which is where we yank out and fix anything
that was revealed to be wrong in the short underway. Assuming
nothing changes, we'll be doing this for a month or two, then the other
crew takes the ship out for a few months, then another refit, then we take it
out, supposedly during this three or so month period I'll miss at least
Christmas. If the ambiguity is annoying that I can explain.
See if somebody gets too specific on the sub schedule, we,
the crew get fucked in the ass. One sub, a week before
returning, when the families of the crew were informed of the return
date had somebodies family member go and post the return date on facebook.
So to fix the information leak they kept the sub out few almost another
week. Believe me that sucks. I can live with my job, but sub life
does have quite a large amount of suckiness to it. Oh, well
it's a living. I'll get back to work on that stuff. Oh,
while I'm bullshitting, the Spiral's character
sheet won't be uploaded, because the
appearance, the way I designed
it makes it reveal the plot
to show it.

For those who hadn't figured it out from my slight activity, I am back, it was just a quick run to move the boat to another peir and test some systems, it also turns out that after these few months of working on the boat in port, it will be heading out with the other crew.

This is good for my drawing time and bad for my work life, as in order to get qualified for my job, a functioning ship comes in exceedingly handy.

For the next few weeks I will be working under the cooks in the galley, as a result I spend a lot of time filled with misanthropic rage. Plus side I've got quite a few more comic ideas. Unfortunately none were from my shipmates.... Great lord in heaven how the fuck can anybody that raunchy be that boring....

In 2 Weeks to 3 or so months. I'm going out on deployment soon, so this is a very rough estimation. I'll try to have stuffs to post when I gets Bach.

Well, it looks like the main thing coming up is my first deployment, during this period of time I and my computer will be separate, my drawing pads however will be separated from me only by a vast army of Axe-wielding thugs. So in the time that I am under the sea I'll spend most of my spare time studying and drawing.

Mostly I'm working on several comics I've been preparing for the past year, I figure I'll try to get the intro story for each one finished by December, or at least one of them.

That's why the most I've done, iin a LONG time is post journals and comments. I'm here in Washington, and my scanner is back in California. The really neat thing is that I should be going on deployment really soon, so I wouldn't be here is I got it mailed up here. Oddly enough I'm getting all sorts of inspiration while my scanner's gone, so when I do get one, I'll definately have somethings to post.

77: His name is the first two digits of the number assigned to him while he was in an asylum. Originally he was used as a main character in some of my fantasies as a kid I inserted him into LITM because I'd gotten so used to involving him in everything I imagined up. He has changed a fecking lot, more than any character I've used, from his original two models (one resembled Heih the other a more anime version of his final form) his powers , he ended up as a great old one, even his personality changed from his initial serious attitude to his more laid-back and insane one. Fun fact: 77 is actually perfectly sane, but forever is a long time and you get bored, being insane helps keep one entertained.

Barshaybus: I have no idea where his name came from, other than that I felt it sounded like a good name for a baatezu. I made hime because I was inspired to make a short, unreasonably so, character by the earlier DMFA version of Wildy. Barshaybus changed when I tried drawing him and realized that as I had heard drawing characters who have a major size difference together is extremely difficult, so I made him larger and removed some of his magic. Fun fact: Barshaybus had a brief career as a masked wrestler.

Benjamin: His name came from the first gag I wrote for him because it required two characters named Ben and Jerry. That same gag is kind of how those two got created. Originally Benjamin was smart, but he wasn't a supergenius type smart. Fun fact: No one else in Benjamin's familly has his hair color, he got it because his mom worked in a hair dye plant and fell in a vat of dye while she was pregnant with him, eventually she washed the dye out of her fur but it had mutated Benjamin.

Jerimiah: He and his name have the same origin as Benjamin, however Jerimiah hasn't realy changed all that much from when I came up with him. Fun fact: Jerimiah has training both as a wizard and as a druid, and as a mystic theurge if you know your D&D prestige classes.

Well, I'm now, thanks to the ffort of two of my friends, registered on cyberchat, and like so many similar ventures of mine I just don't get the appeal, most of the time in chat based programs I end up as an outsider, you know that guy who just sits on the outside of everybody's social circle because his friends all have their own niches on the chatroom and he doesn't, that wierd chat limbo thing? yeah I'm there a lot, honestly the fact that it's roleplaying doesn't help.

Let me explain something to all RPer's out there, if everyone's super then nobody is. Yes I know some people come up with some interesting and potentially great characters, but the fact that there always seems to be about ninety of them per room doesn't really make storytelling seem quite so fun.

Then again if the characters aren't super powered they're super drama. It's as if there's some little OC tragedy fairy going around giving all the characters terrible and unhappy childhoods.

Course maybe I'm just not cut out for these things. Either way I'm on cyberchat as Litmauthor.
