Cosplay help for FAE 2013
General | Posted 13 years agoOkay, well. Here's the thing..
I'm going to FAE with my girlfriend, but I want to do a cosplay with her.. She's going to try to do Turbo ( Wreck it Ralph ) and Jackson ( Monster High)
This is going to be her last con for a very very long time, due to lack of money and needing it to pay for bills and such.. I am a bit sad about that.. But I know these important things come first..
So I want to spend the most enjoyable, fun time with her as possible.. Since it wont happen for a long time.. I want this to a memorable con with my girlfriend.. And I want to do couple pictures with her.. T_T
If she is able to get Turbo done, than I will do Felix with her. But when she does Jackson, that's the hard thing.. The only two characters I would do is Holt or Draculara.. Weeeell.. There are two issues with these two..
To be Holt, I have to paint my face blue to do him.. And having experience with doing Joker. You have to be extremely careful when touching people to not get make up on them.. And I know my girlfriend wont want to kiss me with blue make up all over my face.
Than there is Draculara.. Erm.. I have very very low self esteem and self confidence in the way I look.. Especially when it comes to showing off my legs.. Which that insecurity has grown more since my knee surgery.. Having all these scars and marks on my knee.. *hides face into hands*
I just don't know what to do..
Any advice? Or suggestions?

Tiresome recovery and art work update
General | Posted 13 years agoSo, it has been almost a month now since my knee surgery. Going to Physical therapy when I can, even though I have missed a couple appointments due to not having a ride up there :/
Geez, mother nature picked the perfect time to be a bitch.. I'm sick with a on and off fever.. And in pain with my leg.. As well as my whole body is stiff and sore from sleeping night after night on the couch.. Since my mother and I live in a one bedroom apartment, we only have one bed.. My bed D: And since my bed is in my mothers bedroom, she uses the bed.. And since she is working and her body can't take sleeping on the couch and I can't stand sleeping in the same bed with her, unless I either want her knee in my back or find myself on the floor..
So, to the couch I go.. Rather be in the living-room than the bedroom any day though.. Because her bedroom smells like a mix of pot smoke and cigarette smoke.. Bleck!
Also the cigarette ashes all over the place in the bedroom since she mostly smokes in the bed.. That's really safe.. Specially when she's stoned and falling asleep with a lit cigarette in her hand. I keep telling her to smoke outside.. Fearing that someday the apartment might catch on fire because she lets the still burning cigarette ashes fall all over the damn place..
Anyway! Enough negative rambling!
Good news! Physical therapy is doing a lot for me :D
Few days ago I was actually able to life my leg up into the shower! <3
So proud of myself and happy! Also walking around a little better. Still a bit off balanced, but walking a tad better. Hooray me! Now for the next few days I am going to be working on ref sheets of all of my characters :)

Putting All Requests On Hold

Because I need to kick my butt and get three badges done for someone who I had waiting for WAY to long, which I feel absolutely awful. It's IMPORTANT if I get these three badges done.
was my very first actual commission, who paid for a badge almost a year ago, I finished the badge, posted it, but I didn't know he wanted me to actually send it to him in the mail. I have never sent anything through the mail before, so I really don't know how to do this.. I've never even sent a card to my family in California, I always sent a email or something.. *hits head on the wall* stupid stupid stupid stupid me!
And it's awful of me, because he was so kindly the first commissioner I ever had, it's ergant I get his three badges done as soon as possible!!

Knee Surgery Update
General | Posted 13 years agoWell, it's official. I am having knee surgery.
But the thing I'm worried about is that, I know why my knee has been jumping out of place.. Apparently I have an abnormal femur growth.. So I have two options of surgery.. One is replacing my torn ligaments with a donor ligament.. Which is a 75% which the doctor isn't completely sure if it will completely work because of my abnormal femur.. The second surgery is a 100% but that surgery is a MPFL Reconstruction which would put me in complete bed rest for two months.. The doctor said that the first surgery will help a lot and keep my knee from dislocating, least that what he hopes, it's a big question because how deformed my femur is..

Went to the doctors today..
General | Posted 13 years agoOkay, so I FINALLY went to the doctors to get an x-ray and schedule an appointment for an MRI for my bad knee today.. Took about.. almost half a year to freaken do it.. Because my mother kept putting it off..
They took x-rays and such, the nurse comes in and checks out my knee, in the first place.. I HATE people touching my knees.. No matter who you are.. I don't let you touch my knees.. Except my mate.. My mate would sometimes rub my knees when they hurt.. Any way, the nurse was moving my knee caps about and it made me panic and freaked out..
She than told me that my knee is a bit damaged, but not enough to have to need surgery. Just physical therapy.. So I was relieved.. Because I don't want surgery..
Than, the actual doctor came in and started to poke and pinch at my knee.. I wanted to kick him and tell him to stop. Luckily when I whimpered and jerked, he would stop..
He told me that my knees are so badly damaged.. I might have to have surgery.. My right knee is so unstable that when it jumps out of place, it can seriously damage the cartiledge.. I'm so scared and upset right now.. I don't want to have surgery.. *crying*

General | Posted 13 years agoWell, I had a rather good day today. ^_^ Very happy.
I had a great day at work. Rasco, the adorable Pitbull pup came in to day, one of my favorite dogs I work on.
He's ADORABLE and I want to take him hoooome! He has beautiful golden eyes and whenever I bathe him. He licks my face to death and he's such a sweet heart.
Than today, a long haired black and brown dachshund came in to day. I absolutely loved her hair, while I was drying her off, the tips of her fur did a Loki curl. It made me giggle. :)
So it came to me, if Thor and Loki were dogs. LOL Dog gods. XDD Thor would be a golden retriever and Loki would be a dachshund ROFL because when their fur is short, it curls like Loki's hair. *fan girl squeek*
And today, at work, my washing apron came in, it's to help my first from getting soaking wet when I wash dogs, so made me feel more comfortable, not being completely covered in dog hair and soaking wet.
And at the end of the day, when all the dogs are bathed, it's my job to clean the tube and fill up the bottles of doggies shampoos. They made my job SO much easier, they got me some supplies to use which helps with filling up the bottles.
So it wasn't a hassle trying to get everything finished up for the end of the day! ^_^
I had a great day at work. Rasco, the adorable Pitbull pup came in to day, one of my favorite dogs I work on.
He's ADORABLE and I want to take him hoooome! He has beautiful golden eyes and whenever I bathe him. He licks my face to death and he's such a sweet heart.
Than today, a long haired black and brown dachshund came in to day. I absolutely loved her hair, while I was drying her off, the tips of her fur did a Loki curl. It made me giggle. :)
So it came to me, if Thor and Loki were dogs. LOL Dog gods. XDD Thor would be a golden retriever and Loki would be a dachshund ROFL because when their fur is short, it curls like Loki's hair. *fan girl squeek*
And today, at work, my washing apron came in, it's to help my first from getting soaking wet when I wash dogs, so made me feel more comfortable, not being completely covered in dog hair and soaking wet.

General | Posted 13 years agoI had the best day ever yesterday! It was sooooo much fun!!!
My slytherin robe came in yesterday! :D So it completed my Malfoy cosplay!! *squeal*
I wore it to the mall for my mate's 20th birthday :3 We had soooo much fun!
Even though I was a bit tired from working that day, it made it all worth it. Because I made 40$ to spend! :)
After a long day I am going to be a lazy butt all day and rest up my knee before a long weekend starting tommorrow. Tommorrow I have work until Friday to Sunday. So I am going to be resting and relaxing like crazy! Maybe play some Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets on the PS2 which was one of the things I bought at the mall yesterday! :3

New Year and A Life Update!~
General | Posted 14 years agoNew Years Resolution:
1. Go to school finally
2. Get my Organization 13 coat
3. Get my knee fix, so I can get up and do more things again. Like dance, or DDR/Wii
4. Go to Megacon and Megaplex this year!~ And maybe a side of small one day cons, or anime/fur meets. I need to get out of the house and something to do.
5. Get a puppy that I have been bugging my mother the last few months about. LOL
6. Learn how to make a fursuit~! <3

Life Update:
So here's a life update! If you couldn't tell by the random art work appearing, I'm back! Yay! I have my computer back~! <3 *huggles it*
My computer guy said that my computer was so badly filled with virus, mostly caused from when someone hacked into my AIM account =_=; *growl* it was the worst he's seen all year... >_>; *Ehem* *cough*
But the great thing about this, is he was able to save ALL of my videos and pictures! So not much was lost! All I had to do was re-download GIMP,AIM, and some other programs I had, very happy about that.
Other news, since I was without a computer, I had plenty of time to get better at drawing animals. Mostly Canines ^^; But I am quite happy and impressed of how good I am getting. I am a lot better at drawing paws anyway XD So being in this drawing frenzy of mine, I have been updating some of my fursonas appearances. And what great changes they are O_o;
Now my biggest challenge right now is learning how to draw them Anthro. Which I am having a little trouble with getting just right D: So I am planning to be working hard on practicing~

I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentines day! Cause I know I will! :3 Even though I have school Monday, it's a good thing. Cause I get to be with munothefox, my wonderful, loving seme. ^_^ Who I love so much!! Just being with her, makes everything worth while.
