I think I'm actually going to start raising money to go through with this. I've always despised my name, ever since I was a small child. I never thought it fit me, and honestly part of the reason I hate even more now is probably because it was given to me by my asshole of a father. I get asked by every new person I meet what my name stands for, and I always have to tell them "Nothing. It's just those two letters." and then they laugh, and insist I actually tell them. Rarely am I believe. And it's extremely upsetting.

For the large majority of you that don't know, my real name is CJ. Two capital letters. It's on my birth certificate like that. It's my legal birth name. And. I. Hate. It.

I'm changing my name to Alice. It sounds so much nicer, and I've always adored the name. Now, let's take this nice little looksie here...
"Alice Elizabeth Grace" vs. "CJ Elizabeth Grace"
and hopefully eventually when I get married
"Alice Elizabeth O'Connor" vs. "CJ Elizabeth O'Connor".

Alice is a wonderful and gorgeous name, and when I think of being called it, and actually having a real name for the first time in my life, I get so excited. It's a very feminine name, which is fine, because I can go by Red when I'm feeling masculine or whatever. But. I think this is the first step with actually being comfortable with myself for the first time since I was in middle school.

Anyone know anyone/would anyone be willing to do this for me? I'd like it to be a picture of Red, maybe Red and Joey, but I don't want to spend that much money on the commission. I could use art I already have, but Joey suggested getting art specifically for this, and I think that might be a really cool idea.

I don't have a specific price range, but I do need the file to be large and have a really good DPI, although since that only requires drawing on a bigger canvas, it hopefully won't up the price....

As far as I can tell, every single customer of TWC in the country is without their varying services right now. Every iteration of their site is down as well, such as the main site and the forums as well.

Just be aware that if you need to get ahold of someone and you can't, though you normally can, this could be the reason why.

Also no word from the TWC twitter about this, no word ANYWHERE about this yet except from the people it's happening to.

[I'm on my phone if you couldn't tell, since I'm a TWC customer as well. Might have to march half-a-block down the street to their storefront if this isn't fixed by the time I wake up.]

Joey and I'd really like to go, but we don't particularly want to pay for an entire 4 person room by ourselves? If we get two more people, it'd be about $140 per person for 3 days.
