If there's still some of you left around here ^^'
And first of all, how are you all doing ?
Did life treat you well lately ?
I'm still the old shy girl who doesn't easily talk about herself and even more after those 2 shitty past years we've been through with hubby but I feel like I owe you all some explanations.
First, nah, unfortunately we're still not parents and pondering at the moment the question of getting through a lot of expensive medical help (and pain) to achieve this goal. I was in a very bad state of mind because of this situation not so long ago. But I've cleared up my mind and feel more capable of making some real choices now.
Second, took me two years to get rid of some very very irl toxic relationships and it sadly took me a LOT of my energy ^^'
And last, but not least, 6 months ago I was forced to get a job (manage billing and accounting on public sector purchases while you have absolutely NO accounting skills or knowledge is hella crazy ! Plus, I hate maths... ToT) and that is clearly not made for me and this too had a huge impact on my mental AND physical health. I'm taking competitive exams soon (like, first one is this coming Saturday) to try to work as a librarian in the public sector or anything culture or creativity related. I'll do anything to get out of this job and situation.
Oh yeah and... my family drove me nuts to the point that I'm having a break from it (for the first time in my life ! Woohoo !).
So, hum, I really hope this explains my lack of activity and that I completely vanished from a lot of artistic social medias for like... three years ? ^^'
I should say I feel sorry for that but hey... I'm just tired of feeling guitly for things I'm not responsible for. It's just... a lot of bad luck and karma ?
But still, there's something I'd like to tell to this community and to you more specifically guys. I missed you. Your support, your warmth, your kindness, your creativity and lovely sillyness <3
I miss the friends I've made here that were in the end better friends than so many people living near me I gave so much of my time and energy to.
I miss you guys and I'd really like to reconnect with you all <3 But little by little as I'm still rebuilding my trust in others and self-confidence.
(I'd like to thank my very patient and supportive husband too. You're the best and I'm lucky to have you for 15 incredible years now <3 ).
Okay, fiuh... that is a lot lot lot of personal stuff shared for someone like me so... hum, it's enough...
Sorry for the drama-like news, I hope I'll have happier ones to share with you soon ^^'
Well, all this to say that I'll slowly be back and active again to share with you some arts and projects.
And no, Ceres isn't dead to me but before I can start working again on it, I'll have to find time, money (meh, can't do anything without money nowadays...) and lasting peace of mind.
But hey, consider me as back for good <3

To all who remained patient and faithful followers. You're the kindest souls on earth. I don't deserve you all.
So... I'm back after something like... a year of inactivity or so ? ^^'
And my heart is full of apologizes and shame. Even though, I think my mind needed a break for I wasn't feeling that good...
Sorry but I don't feel like giving some public explanations. Things are still a bit blurry in my heart and I need some more time to feel comfortable enough to talk about what's happening in my life.
But hey, I'm back and I'll sloooooowly get back on track.
So... How are you all doing ? What's happening ? Did you stay all safe from the COVID crisis ?

We've been sharing and working a lot (and still are !) together with my bada best friend 
lethy.
And now we're happy to share with you our pokemon comic project !
So far we mostly have concepts and doodles of the characters to share with you, but that's important to introduce characters first, right ? ;)
Even if 12 pages were written and sketched already.
The comic will be in French but we might translate it in English. It'll fully depend on the audience we'll get.

Start of the year was a bit rough money wise and I'm currently facing the biggest art block I've ever had... which is only the second in my entire life and it's... confusing... and frustrating... as I really want to create things... anything... something... And to tell the stories still running though my mind.
This is probably related to the fact that I totally lost sef-confidence and self-esteem concerning my ideas and writings those past 5 months.
Anyway, I'm REALLY trying to kick my ass to fight against this situation, so, to all of those who are still sticking around, thank you deeply for your patience, love and support. <3
I also have a few questions :
- Would you be interested on asking Cérès' characters ? (in addition to Naï's asks ?)
- Do you think that we should totally rework on our Patreon (rewards, presentation, etc) ? Feel free to tell us how and why.
- Would any of you be interested on Pokemon comics ?
- For those who ever heard about the TV show WAKFU : do you know some artists with similar art style ?

Flutter and I are actively trying to raise some funds for important repairs on our old car.
We were prepared to spend $1,000 on these.
Yup, you've read right, the car is old and need big repairs but it'll allow our lil' old lady to stay on the road many and many more years if we take care good care of the things that need to be changed on it. And second-hand car offers (for a car with few or minor wear) start at $5,500. So, better fix our old car than change it.
We saved money over the past months and were finally ready to pay for the mechanic's work on it, sadly, it appears that two very costy parts of the engine's brakes need to be changed too (we asked my stepfather's opinion too who confirmed that we really have to change them).
Which means $300 of additional fees on the original bill that we can't take care of later. 'cause brakes problems can't be ignored at all on a car ^^'

The Wind Memories Comic - NEWS
Posted 7 years agoAlright, so, this is a big announcement for those who still follow Cérès' project and are waiting on The Wind Memories' continuation.
I abandon the search of a new illustrator for now.
I tried hard to find one over the past two months and no illustrator seems to be interested on working with us on this comic or the very few who offered help couldn't fit.
I have to tell you all that I feel very discouraged at the moment and I even started to lose faith in my projects...
Because of doubt and fears I'm even scared to lose interest on the world I've created...
And it makes me feel very depressed and anxious because I don't want to give up totally on it...
I think I need a break from it. In order to be able to start working again with new energy and motivation. And also, with the hope that a new illustrator interested on the project might show up.
Still I feel very bad, like... I'm leaving my precious babies behind... but not forever. And maybe for the best ?

Vashaa confirmed past week that she won't be able to keep working on The Wind Memories comic for professional and personal reasons (don't harass or question her, just respect her decision, thank you).
So, the next page of the comic will be the LAST of the Prologue AND the LAST until we find another illustrator (again, sorry) to work on Fizz and co's adventures.
So, this is an official call to every potential candidate for the task.
BUT, we'll be VERY picky and we'll ask for real proofs of your dynamism, motivation and sense of responsibilities.
Please, if we don't choose you, just remember that we're just taking precautions to to ensure that this type of event does not happen again.
And we need very motivated people who thinks they can also have fun with the world of Cérès.
And if you're not a comic illustrator, would you spread the word around you for us please ?

Wow. Time goes by so fast ! We don't even realize yet.
Désolée mon cœur que cette année si symbolique et importante n'ait pas pu être mieux célébrée...
Mais encore une fois, c'est bien la preuve que notre couple est à l'épreuve des années ET des coups durs.
J'en suis toujours intimement persuadée, du fond du coeur, et depuis le jour où j'ai compris que ça ne pouvait être personne d'autre que toi, celui avec qui je ferai le reste du chemin qu'est ma vie. Ensemble, main dans la main.
Je crois plus que jamais en nous et en nos rêves, et tout ça, c'est grâce à toi.

The question can be absolutely anything you want !! And the illustration of Naï's answer will, of course, be discussed with you. Which means : you can make us suggestions on how you'd like your character to be depicted and what kind of interaction you'd like them to have with Naï.

This week their car broke down and they need some extra cash to pay for the repairs. They can't really work any faster than what they're already doing, because they're at full speed right now.
