Because of the inssssane inflation and my rent being higher, I find myself in a place where i need to raise my prices. And, according to my calculations, to meet my basic minimum it is gonna be about 35% raise!! D:

Main reason behind the question is that time zones are annoying and i'm delaying closing auctions on time often. Ychcomms is more convenient because of it. If it's no big deal for most tho, I will just stick to FA.

I can't even believe i would be writing such a thing one day, but here we are.
One of my former closest friends - 
schlafennigredo has turned out to be a long-term scammer, and I feel compelled to warn you about her. I previously supported her work by advertising her art and collaborating on various projects, which is why I feel somewhat responsible.
We not only shared an apartment but worked together and supported each other during tough times. However, I can no longer associate with her in any capacity, as she has been scamming people for quite a while now.
My concerns started when I tried to help her by recommending her to people for commissions. Although I had doubts due to her previous failures to deliver work on time—often citing personal issues—my concerns intensified when those I referred began reporting that she was ghosting them and failing to provide updates. In the end, she delivered them subpar, hastily produced art only after I prompted her to respond and others pushed her with deadlines; and she has not refunded another friend, who has commissioned her at the approximate same time. Even then, she continued ghosting him until I reached out on his behalf. His commission still remains unrefunded.
It appears she routinely ignores people she does not intend to fulfill commissions for, so I urge you: DO NOT commission her. While she truly may face personal challenges, she consistently fails to complete artwork and abandons people after receiving payments. She is difficult to contact, and regrettably, if she owes you artwork, it is highly unlikely she will refund or complete it.
If you used PayPal to send payments to Anastasiia Chernova while commissioning Schlaf, please do not report this account as it does not belong to her. She just used one to recieve payment due to restrictions in country-agressor that we are unfortunately in right now. Reporting it will adversely affect all parties involved, except her. She's already done enough damage for me and my friends who tried to help her.
Recently, she's been making horrible things like neglecting her pets to cruel death, lying to me and others, manipulating, stealing and abusing people's kindness. She owes something to everyone who has supported her, so please do not become her next victim. I do not wish for anyone else to suffer due to her poor choices. Additionally, I find myself acting as a conduit between her and those who are trying to contact her but fail, which results in many approaching me for updates about Schlaf.
Please refrain from contacting me with the intention of assisting in resolving this situation. I cannot compel her to take any action. She is nearly 30 years old, and I do not wish to babysit her any longer. Moreover, she owes me not only financially but also morally, just as she does to those unfortunate individuals who have fallen victim to her scam activities.
I only know about her other active site - on YCH commishes that i can warn you about. If you have more information about her online presence, please share more in the comments and i'll update this journal to add the information.

I'M SO GLAD TO LET YOU KNOW I'M BACK!
As you know, took a breakfrom socials for a while, and let me tell you: I totally did not plan to go offline like this - it just happened. I felt so overwhelmed with all the social medias and somehow even posting my artwork has been making me anxious. It was not really a decision - I just appeared online less and less.
TW: pet death
Within this time so much happened: grandpa kitty (from this post of five years old) has passed away recently. He lived for a whole 17 years, and with your help as well! If you remember, i have made a post asking for help for him about 5 years ago. With all the support, he got a decent recovery and lived trully best granpa life until cancer got him. I've made a tough decision to put him to a piecful sleep before pain got unbearable. It was a bittersweet farewell.
Not long after, my other kitten fell ill due to bladder stones. While this seemed like a straightforward issue to resolve, I unfortunately went to an unprofessional vet who accidentally caused the death of my three-year-old cat by... severely damaging his liver during a procedure (as you know, when urethral canal gets cleaned, doctors manually empty it. Somehow this person managed to squeeze that hard that he caused THAT much damage). How do i know? It got me in so much shock that i made a post-mortum expertise in another city to know what happened. I really needed to know what i could've missed, to be a better pet caregiver in the future (if you havent already noticed, i love my pets as much as a mother of cats can do). Long story short, after lots of grieve i am about to file a case against the clinic.
Interestingly, during this challenging time, I was approached by volunteers who needed temporary care for rescued kittens awaiting new homes. I thought it would be good to agree and help the volunteer community to distract myself from the sorrow. Unfortunatelly, those volounteers started pushing more animals to me. Despite our agreement that all incoming animals would be vaccinated, they sent a sick cat that infected all my pets. They refuse to help despite the agreement of their curatorship. They call me names for "making it up". They reject me with all the cats. S spend all of my savings in a spawn of a month, but manage to save them all that are within my care.
Absolute cinema happens when my close friend schlafennigredo, who some of you may know about, gets in a severe depression episode and hospitalised for about a month. At the very day she admitted, she also gets kicked out of her rental place (depresso = grand mess, landlord no likey) and gets robbed of her laptop (also turned out she hadnt done all of her rent payments). Which is i'm a witness of. WHAT.
So as you may guess, at the end of the 2024 i have been a full time 8 cats (hers mostly, due to her ahh being yeeted out of her flat) nanny, one 30 year old child nanny (atp i go to her every 2 days in a week, buy her food to the hospital, do her laundry, etc.). And with ALL THAT i get life threats from Schlafen's former landlord. Why? Because, apparently, i'm her friend and the landlord did not believe Schlaf got hospitalised and her phone is given to her only twice a week, only for an hour at a time. THEY THOUGHT WE ARE SOME MASTERMINDS WHO SCAM THEM FOR MONEY. At this point i have to remind you i was NOT living with Schlaf and have my own rental place and have no goddamn connection to a mess that's been happening. I n s a n e.
Again, long story short, Schlafen has just moved out of my place after i agreed to host her for a week, as she had nowhere else to go. I now am an official witness of a crime and just got from the police where was questioned about it. And i now have 5 cats. Again.
And somehow, i felt like getting back to socials. Literally with a face of Pepe from "Muppets Tonignt". First thing i do? Of course writing this big ahh journal to tell you all about what happened. Just so you know, i was b u h s e y.
Tumblr is older than jurasic, Bluesky is brand new, same for BMaK. BUT I PROMISE TO UPDATE THEM OK. You can beat my (beautifully enormous) ahh if i don't.
Boosty and Discord server are offline: first one got the audacity to take gigantic fee so i fleed, second one i have no time nor resources to moderate.
Anyways, all info about new commissions-to-be-opened and other stuff will be posted within couple days. I can't wait to get back!

Stuck in a country aggressor + Life Updates

As you know, i've been migrating from Ukraine to Russia, starting from year 2018, and it's been a struggle since then. The only reason i migrated to country aggressor is because it was more, affordable and more safe space for me then and i had some friends to provide me shelter for some first time.
A lot of things happened: i found a sister and i've been living with her since year 2020. I've also found some new fur family members, as well as i've lost some of them. Thanks to all of your support, i'm where i am now, alive and safe.
I wish it could stay that way.
Russia has started isolating, setting up cruel law, reducing life quality to the point it became hard to exist here. LGBTQ+ people are chased here LEGALLY now, and being ukrainian person here became not so very safe as well.
I've had strong plans to migrate somewhere else when i'll feel like i can, but now i understand i have to, regardless of my possibilities. And thanks to my Ukrainian citizenship, i have most of doors open. The only thing that's left - is to save enough funds to yeet outta this place.
I have no home to come back, i have no family besides my sister to support me, and she has no place of her own as well, we are all by ourselves. So this might be the last attempt i'm making, not knowing what else life will face me with.
As for the commissions, here ere are the main news as of now:
RISING PRICES
I've been making living on commissions for some time now. The only reason i don't have a regular job in the country i'm in - is because economy is really f*cked up here, and it's not possibly enough for me to make enough for my needs on a regular job, considering my medicine that i need to take every day and a pet who needs special care as well.
I've been doing well taking commissions so far, thanks to the ruble course exchange value. But due to the reasons of drastic changes in it, and unstable course, i had to set prices in rubles. The prices set are just the same as the old ones - with one difference: it's changed currency and may be higher for $5-10+ for you now. It's not much - but it's important for me to keep at least price consistent income. I'll keep it that way until i'm able to find a job in the other country after moving from this one. For now - i really need to save some funds for it. Thank you so much for understanding.
BETTER ART QUALITY
I've managed i make most of my sketches as ink line, and my flat colors are now delivered with slight rendering+lights work. So, basically, the art quality got better! Now sketches are going by "Ink Grayscale" slots, and colored pieces are named "Colored Illustration", all with new examples on my Trello and Carrd.

So as you know i'm still trying to solve migration stuff and it's paying-for-rent time for me in a week! Also my meds are running out and cat food as well (my cat needs medical cat food which is rare here now due to transfer delivery issues, and pricey lately).
I need about $250 for all these basic needs and + about $100-150 more to go finish migration paperwork, it's kinda unpredictable here and it would be best for me to make sure i can cover all fees while applying. So, basically, it would be great to make sure i'm staying in my place for now!

As i'm already giving almost all of my art debts since the last journal update about them (if you don't have an update from me, promise it'll be there most likely before the 5th of august!!), i'm taking a break because of my MOST WANTET movie is COMING OUT FINALLY. YAY!!
It happens that i'm a BIG fan of RotTMNT series. And their movie that me (and the fandom) were waiting on, is coming out the 5th of the next month (go watch it on Netflix btw!!). And as a person who hyperfixates really hard on it, for the sake of my mental and physical health as well, i'll be taking a break to do some fanart, fandom OC art, and all TMNT art related to process the possible (hope not, but facing the unfortunate facts) end of franchise that i love so much. I just, you know, REALLY need this.
All of this art will be published on my Twitter btw!
I'm planning to take a break for 20 days starting from the August 5th, and during this time i'm gonna just let myself to not focus on commissions that much (tho i'm not saying i'll stop working on them completely). SO!

Henlo, here i am yet again, saving one more little fella to give him a new home. I KNOW i shouldn't have to take care of every dying kitty out there, but my heart would break if i didn't, especially after finding him and realising there was no anyone else who could save lil guy.
Right now this kitty's body is eaten alive by flees and bugs, also his eyes are completely infected, as well as some parts of the skin. I haven't slept for some time trying to take care of his eyes, and not he can finally open them! We also bathed him in the medicine so most of the bugs have died, but not all unfortunately.
Anyways, i've spent everything on the medicine and even have a little debt to cover in the vet clinic, so.. please take commission! Or donate if you'd just like to help!

Right now this kitty's body is eaten alive by flees and bugs, also his eyes are completely infected, as well as some parts of the skin. I haven't slept for some time trying to take care of his eyes, and not he can finally open them! We also bathed him in the medicine so most of the bugs have died, but not all unfortunately.
Anyways, i've spent everything on the medicine and even have a little debt to cover in the vet clinic, so.. please take commission! Or donate if you'd just like to help!

Guys! I figured i don't feel quite well after second time getting a covid, it damaged me bad last time and this time is no better, so it got really hard to focus on things. I will take a month break from streams, tho will absolutely continue working and send updates into my discord channels. Until i can get my medications and get better just as the last time - i'll leave it like this. Thank you for understanding!
