Laptop Status!

So some good news, I have my own laptop again.
They had to replace a lot and my wallet hurts but I at least have a computer again.
I should have my art program after the weekend. I have to get it from my fiance's relative and sometimes he's grumpy or sick.
But I see them every weekend so whenever he is well enough, I will have all my art stuff back.
In the mean time I may use some online-based programs to doodle and what not, but will not be working on any commissions or art trades until I have my programs.
If for nothing else than I won't be able to do do anything good on lesser programs.
So earliest, I'll be back up on Monday.

This isn't really in order, but now I won't forget what I need to do.

So My Computer Died
Posted 10 years agoGOOD NEWS EVERYONE
Well not really, this kind of sucks.
It seems my laptop has kicked the bucket. We think the graphics card fried, but we'll be taking it to the shop today to figure out for sure.
I should be able to replace any parts and have it up and working again in about week. This is assuming the hardrive isn't dead. If the harddrive is dead we'll need to take more time to reinstall all my art programs which may take a bit.
Anyway, I won't be able to draw until my computer is back up and running, and afterwards I may need to open up to some commissions to help cover the costs (any tips would be godsend right now, I really don't want to have to stop drawing, and every cent helps).
Hopefully this will all be done within a week or so.

Pose can be NSFW. References will be streamed at a time that the winner can be present, single character pose will not be.
16-40 New Watches:
2nd Place — Doodle Page
A doodle page of a character of their choosing. This will be outlines only, and will include a minimum of six expressions.
I will contact this winner to discuss the expressions you would be interested in. This will be streamed, hopefully so the winner can be there.
41-70 New Watches:
3rd Place — Fullbody Standing
A colored and shaded fullbody shot of their character, in a simple standing pose.

So apparently my last raffle broke an FA rule of signal boosting so I'm going to be starting up a new one.
I find it all a bit odd, since I mimicked previous raffles from other users on here in how they did their stuff, but hey, that's how it is.
I will have the new raffle up as soon as I can format it all again, and everyone is allowed to re-enter.
There will not be any ability to get multiple entires on this one, as that's what the violation encompassed, and I do apologize for this change.
However, the prizes will be the same as before, and I'll keep the "new watcher" counter up.
If anyone would like to see the note I got from the FA systems regarding this (so you know I'm not just deleting my raffles randomly), send me a note.

1. You drew me a picture, what can I do with it?
Anything you want. Color it, invert it, resize it, post it all over the internet -- Go crazy.
However, please credit me and in no event can you remove my signature.
(See #5 for any signature moving questions and for crediting after making your own adjustments/changes)
If you post it on tumblr, DeviantART, Twitter, or Weasyl, you can click to appropriate website right there and it will bring you to my art pages on those sites for crediting/reblogging/etc.

If I find you tracing my images directly, I will make it a big and annoying issue for you, because that’s plagiarism. My family is very lawyer happy, and I have a lot of time on my hands. 5. Do not remove my signature for any reason, or claim my work/characters as your own.
If you want to expand/crop an image I have given you and need to move the signature and do not know how, resend it to me and I will tack it on for you, no problem. For icons, you can just crop and credit me in a description / on your profile, I don't mind those lacking my signature on the image itself.
If I have found that you have removed my signature, I will never draw for you again. Period. If it becomes an issue, I will not hesitate to bring down the fullbody watermark hammer, and NOBODY wants the fullbody watermark hammer. If I have found you are claiming my art as your own or anybody else's work, we will have legal issues.

7. If you want something, ask for it.
All commissions are assumed to be PNG file(s) of the work in trade for money.
If you want a print shipped to you, to be able to print the image on a shirt or very large, etc. You need to bring it up and let me know before I pass the rough sketch stage. Otherwise you will just be getting a PNG file.
If you want the Photoshop files, let me know, those cost extra.
If you want anything else, please inform me at the start of the commission.
If you do not, I can not guarantee you will get what you want.

9. Refunds
I only will do full refunds in the event I suddenly become too ill to complete a commission, or partial refunds if you cancel before I complete the hard lining stage. If I have yet to hit the hard lining stage of the art, I am willing to refund half of the commission price. After the hard lining stage, whether you cancel or not, there are no refunds.
I do accept payment plans if orders surpass $100. In those cases I will work up to the amount paid before proceeding and will not be refunding as you will be paying more me step by step.
I will never begin a piece without payment.

9. I Do Not Rush
I am chronically ill and have an unpredictable schedule between doctor's appointments and illness.
Additionally, I take my time. I do not rush my work and am very attentive to details.
I always complete my pieces and keep my clients fully updated.
But I do not accept any pieces through FA with hard deadlines.
I will give you a rough estimate of when your piece will be completed judging my the current waitlist, the priority of your piece, complexity of your piece, and by my general schedule, however I will not give exacts. You are always welcome to ask me how far along I am on your piece (though I ask you do not spam me).
Typically I do not take more than a few weeks to complete any complex piece once it hits the top of the waitlist,
So the wait is not endless and not too different than most artists on here, it is just roughly estimated.

Posted 10 years agoHey guys so I've been using my photoshop for a while and I still can't figure out this one thing.
Whenever I use the paint fill in tool on an area it leaves this thin unfilled outline at the very edge between what it filled in and the outline.
How can I make this not happen.
Reward for answer is I'll be able to do more colored freebees because I'll be faster.

I wanted to apologize for the streaming interruption that we suffered just a moment ago.
It seems comcast has decided that it only wants to work a little bit right now, and I'm working on it to fix it.
Luckily, I was nearly done the stream, with only one doodle remaining, which will be completed. I will post if I can get the internet back stable enough to stream once more.
Thanks to everyone who hung out with me, I had a wonderful mic and you were all great!
