I know Pixelfed is made for photo sharing but it's also a perfectly competent place to post artwork (better than Bluesky or Mastodon, IMO). You can add your posts to collections, and you can look someone up and see the posts that they dropped a like on.

Plus you can follow Mastodon users, and vice versa (and also follow me @lizard-socks@pandacap.azurewebsites.net)

This is a very stripped-down version of CrosspostSharp. It's a Windows application that lets you open a PNG/JPEG, enter title/description/tags, and then post to any of DeviantArt, Fur Affinity, or Weasyl. I like being able to drag and drop PNGs onto it.

My profile is @lizard-socks.lakora.us, but I don't think I'm going to start using it unless people really want to follow me there (or I get bored and want to write a bot to repost my ActivityPub stuff).

I spent the past week or two getting this working. It's an ActivityPub mirror for all my Weasyl submissions - this means it'll pick up on each new post I make on Weasyl, and you can receive those posts by following the account @lizard-socks@lakora.us on Mastodon. It also loads up all my past posts, which means you can fetch a post from like 10 years ago and see that backdated on Mastodon too.

If you like/share/reply to one of my posts, Crowmask will send a private message to my other account at @isaac@lakora.us.

I might add things to it from time to time (working on journal support now).

I suspect that finding artists whose work I'm interested in will be difficult for me, and keeping up with them in an infinite-scrolling feed will be nigh impossible, but I would like to help normalize the use of decentralized social media, and especially decentralized social media besides Mastodon (which is fine, but was never designed as an art gallery).

I don't have a problem with anyone including my visual artwork in AI datasets or using it as part of a prompt, as long as it's made clear that I wasn't involved (that the result was not created or individually vetted by me), and it doesn't infringe on the rights or desires of other artists whose characters (et cetera) I may be using. (I prefer not to be involved in conversations about AI unless strictly necessary.)

I've been working on a web app called Artwork Inbox. It's basically a way to view the new submissions and posts of people you follow in bulk, and without having to do a lot of clicking or scrolling (similar to FurAffinity's notifications page, if you're familiar with that). I plan on adding Tumblr support soon.

It's still a work in progress - there might be occasional server errors, and the server will probably go down sometimes because I'm not paying much to keep it up. But I figured I'd share it with you all.

I posted a new release of CrosspostSharp again! It's a Windows app for cross-posting your own art posts from one site to another (allowing you to adjust the description text and other settings on a per-site basis.)

This version adds Mastodon support and makes a couple things nicer.

I just finished writing a story that I've been working on on and off since January, about a young superhero who meets some new people after his partner leaves.
