As I type this, I notice that FA's read-only mode caption has added a percentage.

Now, is that neat, or is that something else? Well, not sure about you, but as a guy who remembers the 90s and early 2000s eras of the internet, it doesn't help me much. Remember when downloads would take forever and constantly change the percentage of completion? Going from 20% to 80% then back down to 5%, remember that? I do.

At the same time though, the folks working on it seem relatively confident in their progress, so maybe they're right? Who knows?

All I can say is that we gotta wait and see. Frankly, I personally don't mind since... ahh you're probably tired of hearing about it already.

The move happens the day after tomorrow. Meanwhile I hear FA is in the home stretch of maintenance. Should be an eventful weekend, eh?

Hello whoever. As you can no doubt notice, FA is still in read only mode. Don't worry, I heard all the "at least a week" comments, I understand.

What's fascinating to me though is that they recently posted on the official bluesky page (probably Discord also, but I saw it on Bluesky) is that they politely asked us all to clear out our notifications to help. Apparently that's clutter in their system.

I'm no programmer, so I kind of have to accept this at face value. What they really didn't expect is that some people seem to NOT do that regularly and rack up triple digit notifications in every category sometimes. How do people do that? I come here basically daily and the first thing I do is cut through my notifications. I follow 3 thousand accounts and almost never have that many notifications all together.

Maybe I just got more free time than others? I dunno. What I do know is that my maybe 10 total notifications are gonna get dealt with and I hope your however many you have can be dealt with too. Heck, no new art in read only mode, so now's the best time to look through all the fat cat girl pics and choose your faves.

Hey, you know that feeling when you have an important event coming up, but you got some time to yourself, but not enough time to actually sit down and do something to pass the time, but too much time to sit down and do nothing? That's where I am right now, just in life in general.

I got a couple of days before my big move and 99.99repeating% of any packing I have left to do can wait until Wednesday night or even the Thursday Morning hours before the movers come. Which begs the question: now what?

Hello whoever reads these journals. So, that down time, eh? You see all that? Hear about the problems they had to solve? Dang, if I understood programming I could probably say something more impressive.

Anywho, it's on read only for now, which means no new uploads for a while from anyone. Kind of stinks because I had a few pics I forgot to upload, but they're gonna have to wait now. At least it allows for journals, which means I can say something at least.

For starters, literally 1 week, that's 7 days from May 1st, I finally move. I have the apartment for the rest of the month, so not everything goes instantly. HOWEVER, big stuff like beds, dressers, and various other furniture does go. Basically, the old apartment is a glorified storage unit for a couple of weeks after the 8th. To put it in more tangible terms, this month's gonna be a bit busy.

Second... I dunno, I guess I'll use Journals to announce when I go live for the next few streams, at least until FA stops being read only.

Hmm... I guess that's it... damn. Kind of boring, I suppose. Maybe I'll see if notes work, I kind of want to commission someone for something.

Alrighty, hello hello whoever is reading this, this journal is kind of a big announcement.

You may have heard that I am moving soon. Well GOOD NEWS EVERYONE, that soon is literally 2 weeks. Packing will be constant, small things will be moved gradually, and big things will be cleared off so they can be moved professionally. Shit's happening!

And now you might be wondering something. Specifically "So now what?" Well, the apartment has to be cleaned, obviously. Gotta go through a couple of annoying hoops there, hope they don't blame the doors on us despite the doors basically coming with the apartment like that, and generally just get out by the end of May. Shouldn't be too hard.

Overall, the rent will be done and once we figure out what bills we actually have, I can calculate new possibilities for just about everything in my life. This could be amazing, this could be crap, who know? Let's just hope I can actually do this.

So, before I say anything, first of all, I changed my twitch schedule because it needed an update. Yeah, the fact that this is my opener should tell you how important this really is (not all that much, really).

So, yeah, doing basically nothing for Easter, in case anyone was curious. Well, I will be stoned because 4/20, but still.

Aside from that.... I dunno, I've been okay lately, nothing too big or small happening. Nothing worth reporting since the last big reports. Boring, simple, average life. I actually quite like it.

Anywho, first things first, turns out there was a clerical error or something with the move, I won't bore you with details, move isn't delayed much, but the final settlement basically happens next week now instead of...oh, it was going to be today? Huh. Well, either way, move is still happening, just not as fast.

However, something important also is coming up. See, I umm, I might be losing my job in the future. Nothing concrete yet, but company I work for may be getting sold. To put it bluntly, I am not confident that any position I COULD have is able to survive any corporate restructuring. And while I am looking for job opportunities both in my area and in areas around where I'm moving to (thank god for bus lines), I am also not confident that I'll find anything in the near future.

Seriously, I'm 35, autistic, and have no driver's license or college credentials. Between the lackluster job market of the world and the shits in charge of this hell nation trying to tell you I'm magically unable to clothe myself despite most them having a literal brain worm of some sort, I don't have high hopes for the future.

Hello whoever. As you may have heard, I am moving in the near future. Final agreement happens next thursday, and due to random nonsense, the move will be happening across the next 6 or 7 weeks.

So... shit's gonna happen. If you expect me to get new art, it's gonna be a bit. I wanna save as much of my cash as I can for this whole thing, and it's gonna take a while.

That's the main thing really, streams are probably uneffected, I'm still on my socials, I haven't had as bad a time recently as I had previously with my emotional state, despite everything. So... yeah.

For the record, as a reminder, I am not doing April Fools this year. Anything I do tomorrow is entirely serious or otherwise honest. Nothing fooling you into thinking I'm leaving, or dead, or changing to something wacky, or whatever. I am however still likely to be horny and maybe make a non-April Fools joke or 2.

Aside from that, quick update, my stream schedule has altered. Due to an upcoming move later in April, new games aren't super on my twitch schedule. I will be doing a lot of packing for next couple of weeks and hope to get through the move smoothly. Some game systems will be packed early due to lack of use, a lot of trips will be taken between living situations, and so on and so forth. So my front page has my most up to date stream schedule, and yeah, I am double dipping on Darksiders.

A lot is going on, and I need to have as little trouble as possible.

As such, I want to make it abundantly clear that despite the upcoming day of April Fools being a day I live stream, I will not be doing any tomfoolery for that day. Howdy howdy, let's get rowdy. I got some big news everyone, I shared in my stream last night, but I don't know how many of you were there VS how many read these, so here we are again.

I am moving. Not a gigantic one, I can get a lot of it done in a weekend or 2. Truth be told, it's not that I managed to buy a home or qualify for a loan, far from it. See, it's technically my mom's purchase as she's trying to move out. She just picked a place that has spare rooms should my brother and I want to get out of this apartment. We mostly moved here because we wanted a slightly more civilized land to live in. My old house was so far out of the way that I wouldn't be surprised if Pirates hid their gold in our backyard (they didn't). And this apartment was like a 5 minute walk to the nearest grocery store which itself was in a neat little shopping center. This new townhouse we're getting into, same basic idea but without rent. Also, more and better stores within walking distance. Heck, bus nearby too. So like, what's stopping me from just getting in there now?

The move in date is the 17th. That's what. So... there we go.

Hello whoever. So it's Saint Patrick's Day. Might as well have an update.

Not gonna lie, my last journal was written on a notably bad day. Much of it is still true, though admittedly some of it is embellished. I chose not to stream last night despite being game night due to my depression getting the better of me. That's basically all I can say, my depression hit me like a freight train, and I don't know if I even can apologize since I cannot guarantee it getting better.

I can try to make things better, I WILL try to be better, but I can't guarantee success. And with therapy being hard to come by even in one of the more civilized states in this loosely held union, I don't got a lot of qualified help. I appreciate the friends I made online trying to help, they have helped quite a bit.

Anywho, that's all I can say, doing better today than previously.

Also, expect a stream schedule update either today or tomorrow, I ALMOST know what I'm doing Saturday.

Not gonna lie, everything sucks and I don't think I can't do anything to change that. I applied for disability recently because I am 99% certain I haven't gotten a new job because every employer sees I have some form of autism and decides "I ain't hiring that guy, imagine having to train an employee instead of just throwing them at the problem, can't do that, we just need to remain understaffed".

So uhh, this is where the vaguely political part comes in. In case you somehow missed it (I envy you if you did), the US has been taken over by a violent hivemind of hateful piles of sentient garbage that call themselves "Republicans". And with the rest of the world just pretending to oppose it while still doing nothing to stop it, there's no guarantee that the hivemind will even let me have my appointment, let alone get one some form of support, before they cut whatever clearly needed government body supports that.

I'm fucked, and I guarantee you I am but one of millions who are fucked. Further guarantee you that I am one of the better off ones than many of the other millions who are fucked. Further further guarantee you that even being slightly less fucked than them is still not a good place to be. This apartment sucks, my mom's currently stuck in a house she wants to move out of, the only way to get any sort of livability in this hell country is through scams or many decades of generational wealth, and nobody is hiring. If even one of those details was just ever so slightly altered, I wouldn't be the sad sack I currently am, I'd still be a sad sack because of that one garbage pile who tried to murder me 6 years ago, but still.
